Dante hadn't exactly been acting like a great chaperone. Arceus knew why the high ups at Akumu Academy would ask him to watch the kids. It was one of his worst nightmares. Filthy kids all in one small gymnasium looking room. It made him claustrophobic just thinking about it. Professor Genovese had resisted the urge to shudder. Instead of paying attention to the children, he had brought a laptop and some headphones to ignore everyone as he typed away. At least he had his Feraligatr standing next to him, doing the job his trainer was supposed to be doing and keeping an eye on what was going on. As soon as the room began to shudder, Dante leapt to his feet wide eyed holding the laptop securely over the top of his head. He must save the files! His laptop was more important! Ah right. The Professor straightened up, taking off the headphones and walking towards the path in the middle with his Feraligatr standing beside him. The students would be able to see a strange building appear at the end of the middle pathway labeled.... museum?
"This is the normal path. As you can see, rebels, spies, the enemy in general can be hiding absolutely anywhere. Do not let your guard down. This path is not as deadly as the hard path, but it is still difficult. I would not recommend just anyone going down this path. However it is your own life you are putting on the line so it is you who has the choice of which path to choose. But remember, not only do you sacrifice yourself, you also put in danger and sacrifice your Pokemon. Death is very common here in Akumu Academy and the enemy will not simply try to get past, they will use deadly force if necessary."
The Trickster Professor would look at all the kids before hearing a loud beeping noise from his laptop. He quickly opened it back up and began typing furiously. Looked like his speech or pep talk was over for the students.

Shiloh could see he had kind of thrown her off, and that wasn't his point. In fact, he had hope to distract from it by asking her name, but it hadn't worked. The boy felt really bad, and as she stumble through her introduction as she tries to explain what she was. Something that would have garner his complete attention if it hadn't had made her uncomfortable.
"Nice to meet you too, and there is nothing wrong with you being a robot, Alice. In fact, that is quite amazing, especially since you could managed to make connections with pokemon and be acknowledge as their trainer."
He tries to smooth things over even as Alice kinds of save him a bit by changing the subject.
"Thanks, I am glad about it too, and yeah, this is one magical party."
He laughs lightly at her words even as he notices the paper that she was filling out. Maybe, he needed to do the same as he looks away from her to notice the table, and that would seem to happen only moments before everything went to literally hell in an hand basket as a Bronzong would announce the end to the party and to what would seem to be a war.
The boy stood up as he would nod at Alice.
"I think the real party is about to begin, I am sorry, but I must ask you to excuse me for a few moments."
He would actually bow before he would walk away from her. Shiloh would then walk over to the table as he would fill out his form. Secret Santa, he knew Alice had mention it, but, he had thought it was something more profound. Either way, he wouldn't miss filling it out, because, in this place everything has meaning...even the stupid punch.
Shiloh took one cup of it and gulps it down before filling out the form. If there was going to be trouble, he was taking no chances. He had learned his lesson well.
The final professor probably wouldn't have even been around to introduce her route if she could have left the area. There was a battle to be had, and she hadn't gotten the chance to really let loose in a while. But the Mirage Arena had closed itself off from the outside world-- the door had literally disappeared-- and while Harlowe was adventrous, she wasn't stupid. Instead, she'd stalk through the crowd of students, her Igglybuff Mignonne at her side, to the last rip. As the others spoke, she'd peer through the riff and gently touch the sides with her familiar knife. Widening it would reveal the strangest scene of all...
Sunlight poured through the riff. As she shifted out of the way, the students would be able to see thick grass. Perky flowers of all sorts of warm colors dotted the green carpet. If one squinted, they'd be able to see a brightly-painted house surrounded by a white picket fence. Perhaps the most unsettling this was the sound-- as Claudus was no longer manning the DJ booth, the distressingly upbeat tune could be heard emanating from the rip.
"Strominoff's right; the Mirage Arena's under attack." Harlowe'd finished her analysis, and had come to some worrying conclusions. "It seems to me that the Arena is currently trying to develop a force to ward off the attacks. Unfortunately, whatever the saboteur's done has... had an interesting effect on the Arena's ability to generate Pokemon. For one thing, it's gone into overdrive; from my calculations, the force is growing exponentially while showing no signs of slowing. And..." She pressed her glasses up, somewhat unsatisfied as she heard another boom. "From what I can tell, the Pokemon in the area behind be are weak, both in body and mind."
>What she's saying is that it's a baby place for babies.< Even in times of crisis, the smirking Igglybuff couldn't shut up.
Harlowe ignored him. "They're too young to repel the attackers, but unfortunately, that's not going to stop them from trying. This is where you come in; we need students to go in there and calm the Pokemon in that area before they decide to try to fight our attackers... because in the state they're in, they're going to lose. Or worse." As she spoke, the youngest professor'd been adding things up in her mind, and she didn't like the way things looked. "While you're in there, you need to keep an eye out for anything that looks like a threat to the Pokemon, the Arena, or this Academy. Eliminate all that you see." She paused, and narrowed her eyes. "This area's going to be easier than the other two, but don't take it lightly. There're still dangers in there, and we need to ensure the Arena doesn't lose control." She performed a motion most of her students would recognize-- a dismissive flick of her knife. "Buck up, kids. Time to show the world that no one steals from Rocket without consequences."

Hiro actually smiled as Alex seemed to take his words to heart, while Blight rolled her eyes. A more inflated ego was not something that Hiro needed. The thought of helping him to release a bit of hot air was lost at the sound of a gong, and the world around them changed.
Their professor would show up to explain and Hiro groan loudly.
He never could understand the man and the boy almost swore his accent was worst than last time. Though his actions were pretty clear, enter door and leave this mess up place. The fact that the wall nearest them turn more pixel by the second decided it for them.
"Let's go, Blight."
The bulbasaur looked at him as though he was stupid. Then she rethought her stance as she would nod.
He is stupid and if she wanted him to live she better back him up.
"Hey, Alex, I am going ahead. Though just so you know I was leaving the island when I was summon. So until we meet again, happy hunting."
Then Hiro would head towards Professor Stove is on to go through his door. Blight followed right after him.
The brown haired male and his Croagunk were suddenly teleported in the middle of his battle with a Roselia. It obviously wasn't going the way he had hoped but that didn't mean he expected a sudden Abra Backpack to just teleport him over here. He returned Croak to his Pokeball quickly, and stashed him onto his belt. Before saying," This place is...just wow." He was directed to a sign up sheet and quickly filled it out and put it into the box in awe of the way the Mirage Arena had taken a turn, it was like one of those parties from a story book. He turned as things quickly changed right after he got here. It only left a dumbfounded look on the new students face, what was going on here?
The male quickly departed as things were explained to him to the easy path, he was just starting out so if he went to the Normal route he might end up getting slaughtered and he couldnt stand losing Croak. -Exits to easy path-
Seemed Hiro was also on the island when he was brought here. He nodded, waving him off. As for now, he had a choice. The difficult path, the normal path, or the easy path. He made his way towards Harlowe's described path, thinking most wouldn't go near it. Every task needed someone to work on it. Even if it was declared the easiest, his pokemon did still need some beefing up. Pulling out two pokeballs, he returned his pokemon back making his way forward.
Right behind Alex was Poppy, who didn't have any sense of pride or shame in picking the easiest path. There was no one she was trying to prove herself to, her decision was made on the sole fact that she only had one Pokemon and they were still weak, with only one battle under their belt. The setting and music of the easy path wasn't too unsettling, just something that the most of them had likely already grown out of. It was tolerable, and there were Pokemon in there that could probably benefit from a calm and unaffected child like her.
Poppy moves ahead to walk beside Alex, only giving him an acknowledging nod before turning her attention to the rip.
Everything happened so fast, there was almost no way for Alexander to process it all at once. He put a hand to his face and stepped back as he tried to piece together the situation. He had just been teleported into the room when everything started to fall apart. That managed to stop, but only because of the Professor's Brozong. Even then, it was questionable how long it would be before the assault started again, at least from Alexander's limited point of view. Not that he had much of one to start with, since he was torn between listening to the three Professors and piecing together the situation that he was just dumped into.
Eventually, the mix of information was sorted out and the boy was able to focus entirely on the three professors, but by then there wasn't much left that they were explaining. There were three paths to pick from, with the one Professor Genovese indicating apparently leading to a museum (real or fake, Alexander had no clue) and would be of average difficulty to get through, while the rip (not much of a better description to give, as that's what it looked like floating there) Professor Harlowe indicated led to some... Overly cutesy meadow-type area that was going to be easy to deal with. He had been a bit spacey during Professor Strominoff's explanation, so he didn't have any clue what type of area he was talking about, but given that medium and easy seemed to be taken, the boy was willing to bet the route he had been indicating would be the hardest of the three.
If things were as Alexander thought, then he knew which path he would be taking. He wasn't stupid enough to think his team could handle the strongest path that there was, but he didn't believe himself or his pokemon to be completely weak, either. The normal path would be fine for him, and besides, both of the other paths already had people signing on for them. All of the paths needed to be taken care of, not just one or two. If even one path was left unattended, then that could mean a loss for the Academy. Even if things did get tough, he had a steel type and two decent water types with him, both being considered rather bulky types. They weren't all that strong just yet, but they had to get training somehow and it seemed this was going to be his best bet since he wasn't going to be able to go back and finish his mission any time soon.
As the boy headed over, he was stopped by his pawniard tapping on his jacket with... Something."Huh? What's wrong, Titania?"Alexander asked, then took the card and frowned as he read its contents."Is this really the best time?"the boy questioned, but pulled a pen out of his bag just the same. Actually, when he thought about it, he probably seemed like a mess. His shoulder wasn't giving him problems anymore, but he was covered in mud, still had the hole in his jacket and shirt from where that icicle had rammed into his shoulder, and overall looked like he went on a school field trip gone wrong. Which, considering he still had to do the mission Professor Strominoff had originally given him, wasn't exactly inaccurate. Still, he filled out the card, using the palm of one hand as a firm-enough backing for the writing to be decently legible.
With the form filled out, Alexander let out his ducklett and handed her the card."Take that card and drop it in the drop box where the rest of the cards are. Then hurry back over. Got it?"Odette gave a muffled quack of understanding before flying over and doing as her trainer requested. After dunking the card into the box, she looked longingly at the chips on a different table, but by now her trainer was almost at the rift leading to the museum area, so she figured she should do as he said and flew back over to the boy. He gave Professor Genovese a brief nod of acknowledgement - not that he was apt to notice or care - before heading through the rift, with his pawniard and ducklett following along behind him.

The boy would calmly watch the events unfold. Expect the unexpected. Nothing in Akumu academy was normal nor predictable. He listened to each Professor introduce the different paths and the danger level within each. Karasu turned to look at Koga and realized his path was chosen for him. After the horrible defeat from the Lapras, the boy knew some serious training was needed. He would give a slight nod to his Skarmory before heading towards the easy path. Two students were already lined up, a boy and a girl. However the shinobi would walk to the end of the line and then stare blankly ahead, no emotions or expressions visible on his face.

Jin-Hua looked curious as everything happened in the blink of an eye. Or faster. Intriguing. It was also interesting to hear about the paths and what each consisted of. She even saw Professor Harlowe here...well the Professors of each class were all gathered. After the speech from each class, the girl looked at the three splits and the paths. She immediately dismissed the first one, regardless of Professor Harlowe standing in front of it. Besides already three people had joined the path. Only one person had joined the middle path....but the one that had caught her eye was the hard path. Mind made up, she walked to stand behind Hiro, ready to enter the hard path and to start their journey.
The Charmander's face lit up when the Emolga landed in front of him. ">Hi again! The party is super borrrinngggg.<" he growled in annoyance. But he perked up immediately when the metal pokemon came crashing to the ground. Wasn't a party unless there were some party crashers. That's when the Professors actually started acting like real chaperones and stepping forward. The scene around the Mirage Arena was glitching out and suddenly there were three paths. The school was under attack? They would have to go hunt down some enemies and fight? That was perfect! Takeshi was already feeling excited about the upcoming battles he'd have to face. Grinning as the spikes along his back rose in anticipation, he waved goodbye when Gin started moving forward. ">We'll have to talk another time! Seems like everyone has to try and save this...well the academy, I suppose! Have lots of fun battling! We'll exchange adventures when we get back! Kill lots of things, let loose with the bloodthirst every once in awhile and have fun~<"
While Takeshi had been chatting with the Emolga (he recognized her, she was the one he spotted in the pokemon center, he could see the pokemon's trainer was here as well spotting the bright red hair was hard to miss), the young shinobi had been paying close attention to what was being said. The next mission was to find the enemy? Defeat them? They had a choice which path to go through? There was only one valid choice that Gin would choose. The path for true strength would mean lots of struggles. He began to walk forward before joining the line for the hard path, not paying much attention to his surroundings. There were two people in front of him, a guy and a girl (one of the few in the room), but it mattered not how many were coming. He was still determined to try and shut down whatever was causing all this. A smirk spread across his face. Yes, this was definitely going to be fun.

The pokemon loved the thrill of the battle and had a high energy level along with a certain bloodlust. Curious, Gin watched as Takeshi deemed the pokemon worthy and so the shinobi caught her.

Surprisingly enough Argyle wouldn't be listening to his Professor when she spoke. He was already heading towards the Museum. Frankly the music emanating from her path made his skin crawl, and he could already tell the students going upstairs were 'real winners'. He was having none of that. Besides a Museum was a perfectly acceptable activity for both a Student and a Butler. What could possibly go wrong in a place filled with nothing but dusty, brittle old relics, right?
Jekyll on the other hand felt the need to croak along with the music from Harlowe's path. He even seemed to have lyrics.
Starter Pokemon: Croagunk [M] Name & Level: Jekyll, Lv 5 [Temperament] Naughty Bio:The story of how Argyle met Jekyll is a bit of an odd one. After purchasing a bulk shipment of skin rejuvenating mud from Sinnoh's Great Marsh (Guarnteed to take twenty years off your appearance!), Mistress Rosevelt had set aside some time for a fully immersive experience with the product, during which she received quite the surprise. It would seem the mud had come with stowaway in the form of an egg. Unfortunately it was about this same time the egg decided to hatch, splattering the aristocratic woman with muck and eggshell. After a shriek and shrill cry for the nearest Argyle to attend her, Verde arrived and was immediately ordered to dispose of the creature, although not before cleaning up the mess it had created. Whispering a snide remark just below his breath, both Mistress and Argyle were in for a surprise when the newly born Croagunk began to snicker devilishly. It seemed the Poison-type had heard the boy, and shared his sense of humor. Amused by this fact the young Butler then went about the task of convincing Mistress Rosevelt that the Croagunk would be quite useful in his regular duties, allowing him to make the manor to "shine as radiantly as you do Mistress Rosevelt". Little more in the way of convincing was required on the boy's part, and so he obtained his first and for the time being only Pokemon.
Since then Jekyll has proven a good match for Argyle, frequently snickering at the boy's comments be they made aloud, or simply implied. Unlike Argyle however Jekyll does nothing to hide his wicked nature, frequently mocking others quite openly and then laughing about it. Though cruel he is not crude, and more than willingly to amuse himself by catching the enemy off guard. Stats: HP: 21/21, PP: 22, ATK: 13, DEF: 10, SPD: 11, SP-ATK: 12, SP-DEF: 9 MOVES: - Astonish - Headbutt - Meditate - Mud-slap Held Item: EXP: 113/150
The boy's head went up as he thought about his choices. The egg grasp tightly in his arms, things had gone from bad to worst in an instant, and now a challenge was thrown at them. They had to choose, the easiest of paths, the hardest path, and finally the one in the middle.
This wasn't going to be an easy choice, as he held the egg tightly.
He was in no condition for the hard path, there was no doubt, besides, three trainers were taking that one on. The other path that was the easiest has about three trainers as well, but the normal one only had 1 so far.
Could his team stand up to the normal path?
He thought about what he had, a Pidove and a Scyther. Neither were all that grand as pokemon go, but they weren't anything to scoff at. Beside, the girl had a Pawniard that looked newly hatched, and she was going for the normal area ...while most of the newest of the new comers were taking the easy path.
He would take a deep breathe, and go to stand beside the girl at the normal path.
He was taking another risk again, and hopefully, this time it wouldn't end so badly. He would exit through the normal opening, and to his surprise would find that he wasn't alone. Another boy was going through that path, but he was dress like a butler.
That took him completely by surprise, but he shrugs, there was no going back at this point.
Tao was utterly baffled as he was quickly shoved into a lrge room that seemed to be falling apart, literally virtually if that makes any sense. Did he remember to wake up on the right side of the bed this morning? Well, in any case, he saw Seret outside of his ball. This scared him immensly as there seemed to be a lot of other students, He imediately returned Seret to his ball to avoid...Problems. Anyway, he recognized seeing a few of his coleagues before but he didn't really want to approach them - quite the opposite really. He realized a bit that he arrived at the party a bit late, which was a blessing in its own way. He sighed to collect his thoughts. He heard a bunch of teachers each explaining a different issue. He didn't recognize any of the teacher but little did he know that his real teacher was actually up there. He indeed still thought a glameow was his teacher. He listened further and three paths of varying difficulty were presented. He looked a the three options. He decided on the 'normal' path, he preffered the quiet and it seemed the best choice for him. He supposed this would an ideal way to test his mettle. From what the teachers said this place is a virtual arena space, possibly similar to that first battle arena place he went to. He proceeded toward this museum place wondering what he would encounter.
Mudkip [M] Seret, Level 2 Nature: Bold Bio: The first egg pokemon Tao ever had. Well, sort of. A pokemon from the reverted egg of his first pokemon. Tao is still not sure why that happened. The personality of this Mudkip is very different from its previous incarnation. Stats: HP:14/14 PP:17/ ATK:7/DEF:7/SPD:7/SP-ATK:7/SP-DEF:7/ Moves: - Stomp - Growl - - EXP:65/75
Pansear [M] Mawashi, Lvl 3 Nature: Brave Bio: The first pokemon Tao had caught. Ever. The Pansear seemed to hate pokemon trainers for some reason during their first encounter. Who knows if the Fire-type will have a change of heart. Stats: HP: 16/16/PP:19/ATK:9/DEF:8/SPD:8/SP-ATK:9/SP-DEF:8 Moves: - Low Kick - Nasty Plot - - EXP: 44/100
