Fighting her way to the building, Avikna slipped in, finding a blast of refreshing cool air as she entered. Though dry, the air conditioning made this place feel like a haven compared to outside. To her right there were various hooks with equipment and backpacks hung up, likely this was for the Rangers of the desert area, like that lady from before. Avikna gripped the strap of her bag as she followed the sounds of people talking. She eventually came to a large room with a large monitor hung up, smaller monitors hung up all around the large one. They appeared to be watching over various parts of the desert. Some were offline, no doubt knocked over by the storms. Apparently a fight had broken out between two trainers. Avikna found a rather loud-mouthed girl talking down to a younger looking male. Folding her arms, she headed towards an open chair to sit down. She came to a dead stop when a ball wizzed by her face, Celsius caught it tossing it back towards it's owner. "S-sorry, I wasn't aiming at you." The loud-mouthed girl called. "You don't throw Pokeballs at someone else, you just throw them after hiting the center button." A separete trainer stated. "I know that!" The girl growled. "I wanted to hit him with it." Avikna turned with a glare. That ball came way to close for comfort. Though before she could retaliate against the girl, a siren went off, and the woman from earlier rushed in, still brushing rocks and sand from her clothes.
"We've spotted something in sector B" Stated one of the workers, currently manning the monitors. "Sector B, that's only five minutes from here!" Louise shouted, pressing several buttons to pull up the camera she wanted onto the big screen. There as plain as day stood the back of a brown Garchomp. Avikna's hand loosened. There was no doubt... that was Ule'tra. "A Garchomp?" Louise was confused by it's colouring. "But.. I know Gible roam these parts, but a Garchomp? What on earth could make a Gible evolve to that stage out here?" Suddenly, Something apparently caught Ule'tra's attention and the dragon turned with a Draco Meteor primed. A tornado of sand and rocks flew towards him, though with Ule'tra the sandstorm attack was nothing, and it quickly pushed past him, hitting the camera and knocking it out of commission. "Damn.." The woman growled, gritting her teeth. "Where is this Sector B?" Avikna suddenly spoke up, stepping closer to Louise. She turned with a arched brow. "It's a five minute drive to the south of here." She stated. "But-" "Take me there!" Louise shrunk back from Avikna's demand. Her look of surpised was quickly replaced with an apologetic one. "I cant. The st-" "Storm me damned! That Garchomp is mine!" Another look of shock crossed the woman's face. "You're the type to seek out power aren't you? Well, I can't drive you out in the middle of a storm just so you can catch an oddity like that." The woman rested her hands on her hips, only to get a glare from Avikna. "I'm not going to catch him. He's already mine." Holding out her hand, Zero did his thing and materialized Ule'tra's ball. She didn't feel like explaining just how she'd gotten separated from her dragon. Louise let out a sigh, turning back towards the monitors. "Fine I'll take you, but after the storm dies down. I'm not going to get you or myself killed."

Frustrated to no end, Avikna was helpless and powerless to go after Ule'Tra. She was an extremest and deep down a hard-core thrill seeker, but she wasn't stupid. She wasn't prepared to take on a sandstorm with sharp jagged rocks in the mix. For now she'd stay put. "Fine. As soon as the storm ends." turning away with a scowl, the red-head sat down in one of the unoccupied chairs. Louise signed, turning back to her work. Releasing Mave, the wolf didn't need to even read Avikna's mind to know the trainer was livid. Sitting down she instead looked around the room, gaining the interest of a few trainers located around the room.
The girl from earlier, who'd nearly pelted Avikna with her Pokeball approached the red-head, leaning forward with her hands clasped behind her back. "Uh, sorry again for nearly hitting you with that ball, but umm... You're Pokemon there looks super strong, would you mind if we had a battle?" Avikna glared up at the girl. "Uh, er, well.. It doesn't need to be that one, any Pokemon really." Avikna looked over to Mave giving it some thought.. 'Wanna see how Terra deals with another battle?' Looking down, the red-head let out a sigh and stood up. "Fine, I've got time to kill anyway." She replied. "There's a larger room down the hallway that we just emptied out, you can battle there, why don't all of you hunker down there for the night... the storms getting worse." Louise sent a apologetic look to Avikna, which was replied with a glare before Avikna set off for this larger room.
Moments later, the two girls were face to face with each other. The girl had already summoned her first capture, a odd little Raichu look-a-like. A good target for Terra, Avikna assumed. "So who're you sending out?" The girl called, eagerness in her eyes. Avikna grabbed Terra's ball, tossing it forward. The dragon emerged with a growl, but otherwise.. seemed in control with itself. 'Don't go ballistic on me this time...' Avikna clenched her teeth. "Start with a low-grade Earthquake." Terra looked back for a moment, eyeing Avikna. Were all the Garchomp line this disobedient? Ule'tra was the same way... always contemplating whether to listen or not. Terra then suddenly looked back towards the battle. Approaching Terra, Avikna took things boldy, she wasn't one to ever show fear. Terra turned, anger in her eyes, but it was quickly replaced with a complacent look. Avikna noted her sigh of relief, but otherwise ignored it. Pulling out a few potions to heal Terra up, Avikna glanced up to notice the girl approaching her, along with one of the other trainers. "Wow, you're strong." The girl stated. "Granted you had type advantage, but that dragon is sure something. My grandma says that only powerful dragons can control Draco Meteor." Avikna stood, turning towards the woman. "I only recently got Terra, but she isn't the only dragon on my team with Draco Meteor." "You mean you have other dragons!?" The boy from earlier spoke up, pushing past the girl to get closer to Avikna. Of course Avikna shrunk back some, afraid the boy was going to.... touch her or something. "Yes.... I, apparently, am a Dragon trainer." The boy arched a brow. "Apparently? Like it's just coincidence you became a dragon trainer?" He shook his head. "Whatever the case, that's sweet! Dragons are amazing! Say, think your Terra is up for another battle?" Avikna glanced down at the dragon, who looked up with a nod. The complacent look in her eyes was shifting to an eagerness to battle. "Fine."

The boy looked fairly upset near the end of the battle, when Avikna made the choice to return Terra. He'd done his best to put all her defenses and attacks down, it would have taken hours before the battle ended, not to mention Terra's loss in accuracy. The last thing she needed was for a stray Draco Meteor or Dragon Claw to break something. Calling the dragon back out, the red-head once again healed up the dragon with a few potions. The boy in the meantime consulted with the girl, perhaps deliberating over Avikna. Frankly Avikna didn't care what they thought of her.
It wasn't long after they're conversation seemed to end when the male, who'd been the original target of the girl approached Avikna this time. He grinned as he crouched down to become eye-level with Avikna. "You made the right choice." The male stated. Avikna barely gave him a glance as she rubbed the potion into Terra's scales. "I mean, he had you beat." Avikna stopped, glancing up at him. He continued to grin though, looking past Avikna's glare. Standing up, Avikna lead Terra back towards the chair, finding a hand on her shoulder, Celsius did her the honor of wrapping his cloth around the male's wrist, draining some life energy from him, enough to make him weak at the knees. "Don't touch me." Avikna stated coldy, though it was more or less a proper warning, unneeded now though. "H-hey, wait. Look, I meant to offense, I just say stupid things sometimes... Come on, I'd like to have a battle with you as well." Sitting down Avikna looked up at him with a frown. "Please? Come on? It's to early to hit the sack, and I honestly don't care for the wonder twins over there." The male casually motioned towards the girl and boy, who were also looking this way. Avikna signed... Well, at least it was decent experience. Once more she looked to Terra for the dragons answer. Terra rose her claws, opening her maw as if silently roaring. "Alright... One more battle." she sighed once more, standing to face her new opponent.

Stepping off the train, Jay wobbled a little, slightly disoriented from the cacophony around him that often accompanied train stations. Whistles going off, people buzzing, noises bouncing off everything. Zoey was nestled up against his neck, Scy was walking behind him, but everyone else was safely tucked away into their pokeballs to avoid getting lost in the flood of people. The event made the already crowded setting even more impersonal and jostling, and Jacque quickly moved to try and shoulder and squeeze his way from the crowd, stumbling slightly once free. He hated, hated situations like that. The suffocating feel of bodies pressed against him, jostling and pushing and shoving, invading personal space without any coherence that allowed him to identify one person from the other. To say it was a phobia might be a bit of an exaggeration... but he was fairly sure that if he had to stay in that sort of situation long, he would just about lose his cool. He could barely keep it together as was.
Catching his breath, he shook his head, placing a hand on the wall as he tried to steady himself. Everything was a mess of noise and sensory input that he couldn't quite make out. It was one of the few times he might have considered having something like a cain. Zoey gave occasional squeaks, which gave him flickers of impressions, the length of the building he was leaning against, the general movement of the crowd... but much of the echo was lost in the noise around him. He reached out, finding his newly evolved scizor, and let himself be led, keeping his head bowed, frowning against the irritation, and waiting for the noise to die down.

Cites. Jacque did not. Like. Cities. He was a country boy through and through, not just in his accent and his dressing ways. He didn't like the noise, he didn't like the crowds, he didn't like the towering buildings or the smells. He didn't like the conversations assaulting his senses or, really, anything else about cities. The only tolerable aspect about them was convenience. He could handle being in them when it was necessary... but he definitely didn't like them.
Even after getting away from the train station, he had to take a moment to shake his head and reorient himself. Still a bit frustrated, it took a bit of asking and map checking to figure out where to go. He didn't exactly have cues like other people; he didn't have the sun to orient himself, and all the buildings made it hard to identify andy particular feature to use as a check mark.
He essentially ended up leaving it up to Scizor, to some degree, at least until he had properly adjusted to the setting.

Hea bowed, Jacque followed the sound of Scizor leading the way, Zoey flapping her wings on his shoulder, giving a few squeaks, then taking off into the air. He shifted, frown deepening, but focused on Scizor, trying to ignore everything else as they made their way through the city. Why did the confounded place have to be so incredibly... large. Just another reason he preferred his little country towns to big metropolian locations like this...

Felix lingered briefly to look at the Prism Tower before moving on. It was rather impressive but it wasn't a place he was in any hurry to visit. For one thing, he really didn't want to get too close to such a popular tourist location when he wasn't even sure if he would be recognized or not. He would still gawk so that he didn't stand out as the uninterested foreigner but he wasn't planning on mingling with the crowd. For another reason, there was supposed to be a gym leader, and this one wasn't supposed to be a pushover. At least, not for the level of power his own team had. Indeed, that battle would likely go about as badly as that situation with the professor had.

Glancing around a bit, the thief noticed that things were starting to get busy. People were flooding into more than a few areas and at the moment it was looking like it could be easy to duck into some spot or other, at least for a little while. Taking a chance, the man decided to act upon an impulse even he realized was rash and followed a group of dejected-looking trainers. As suspected, the trainers were heading to the Pokemon center. Felix almost followed them in but stopped several yards from the building and put a hand to his head. He winced from pain for a few moments before shaking his head and continuing past the red-roofed building. Joining the crowd meant leaving the city would take a bit longer, but it seemed that the only thing that'd make the headache subside for the time being was to do just that. He would have just taken some painkillers but there was the slight problem of not having any of them left. And considering he just spent the last of his money on a bottle of water, he wasn't going to be able to buy any more any time soon. At least, not until his little meet-up was over. He knew there was a problem with it, though, and it bothered him about the same as the headache.

Felix sighed a bit as it seemed that he was going to be taking the long way around to the exit he needed. From the looks of things, the group he had ended up attaching himself to was some sort of collection of tourists, exactly what he wanted to avoid. He was irked by the development but couldn't bring himself to break away from the other people. As he continued trudging along and following the group, Felix noticed that there was a train station nearby. The man decided to keep the building in mind for when he finished his rendezvous with his contact. Of course, he'd probably be limited to sneaking aboard as opposed to actually boarding as a passenger, but it was likely to be easier than trying to make his way back to Vaniville. Or, worse, trying to find a port town or city somewhere within the region. He was getting a bit tired of hiding around storage crates and the like.

Eventually the exit Felix wished to take was within sight. The man started to veer off towards it but spotted something that made him linger with the group for a while longer. It seemed that some officers were milling about at the exit. The man wasn't about to risk being chased yet again when he was so close to his destination. Especially since he doubted his contact would appreciate having a handful of cops to deal with. So, as much as he would have liked to move on, he realized that he needed to wait a while longer before he could actually slip past.
