Watching a bug skate across the water, Leslie soon realized she might want to avoid more Bug types and get some diversity in her team. Looking back in the woods,s he hoped to find something she might like.

Dante seemed to find himself back at the pond he had been at earlier. This time though, just a small Surskit showed itself. The blue-haired boy walked away, not wanting to risk getting attacked again.

Nina growled at the nearby Oddish and crawled back up onto her trainer's shoulder. The Oddish ran away then, not that Dante was interested in it anyways.

Nina growled at the Seedot as well. It seemed that the Vulpix had quite the dislike for grass-type Pokemon. Dante scratched behind her ears lightly, trying to calm down the Vulpix.

Dante almost didn't see it. He almost missed out. But, luckily, the sun managed to hit the Pikachu's fur just right then, making the Pokemon seem to sparkle for a moment. Dante inhaled and almost immediately started coughing as he choked on the air he had breathed in. How he managed that, he wasn't sure, but, it didn't matter. Because ohmygoshhehadjustfoundashinyPikachu!!!! The Mouse Pokemon hadn't even noticed Dante at first, not until the boy picked him up of course. "Chuu!!" it cried out, electrocuting Dante as it did so. It leaped away from the blue-haired boy, getting down on all fours. It's tail twitching, and it's cheeks alight with electricity. It wasn't going to just let some kid grab it like that! Another electric shock went after Dante, though it did not hit the boy this time as Nina leaped forward to take the blow. The Vulpix landed on the ground, staggering just a little as the attack had hurt it, but, this wasn't going to stop her. "Thanks Nina. Now, let's see if we can convince this little fella to come join us! Nina, Confuse Ray!"
Nina's brown eyes would flash with a golden glow as she stared down the Pikachu. Her opponent's mind would begin to rearrange its thoughts, causing the Pikachu to stare back at the Vulpix awkwardly. Despite its confusion though, the Pikachu managed to bring forth copies of itself to circle around the Vulpix with a Double Team. The Fox Pokemon would look around at all the copies and stand her ground, unsure what to do. "Nina, Flame Burst! Try to destroy the copies!" The Vulpix stomped her paws down on the ground, bursts of flames appearing around her and hitting all of the surrounding Pikachus. The copies disappeared one by one, and the original flew back from the blow. Despite the damage, the shiny Pokemon still stood its ground. It attempted to rush at Nina with a Quick Attack, but, due to the confusion from before, was a little wobbly in its running and ran straight into a rather large boulder. Dante was just about to toss a Safari Ball at it when the Pokemon stood up, and shook itself of its confusion, sending a Thunder Shock to strike Nina. The Fox Pokemon just barely dodged the attack, avoiding getting electrocuted again. "Nina, Fire Spin!" Dante called out, grabbing one of the Safari Balls as he did so, waiting for just the right moment.
Nina opened her mouth and let out a stream of flames. Said flames, rather than just hitting the Pikachu straight on, would turn to form a circle around the Mouse Pokemon. The light from the flames caused more sparkling from the Pikachu's orangey fur. It's eyes widened as it realized it was trapped, and that's when Dante threw the Safari Ball...

The Pikachu tried to get away, but, the flames were in the way, allowing the incoming Safari Ball to lightly tap the Pikachu on the head. The ball would open, ensnaring the shiny Pikachu in a red light. The ball would land in the middle of the circle of flames, shaking vigorously for a few moments before finally clicking in success. The circle of flames died down, and Nina ran over to the ball grabbing it between her teeth and carrying it over to her trainer. Dante pet his Vulpix's head lightly, and took the ball from her. "Good job Nina. Now, let's head back, shall we?" And with that, Dante and his Vulpix would head back to the entrance of the Meadow Zone to wait.

"Time to own some noobs." Allen said, goggles being slowly slided over the snarky sixteen year old's eyes. He had Zest on his shoulder, ready to leap on his command. She had gotten used to battling moreso than when he first joined, now ready for a fight.

Allen just stood there. "A Seedot. Kay baiiii~." he said, racing off. He wanted to keep whatever he caught, and he wouldn't be able to with a crazy common Pokemon. Maybe if it was a Nuzleaf. Maybe.
Ok, those things DID look pretty awesome.

Ok, the bird looked pretty cool in all honesty. But it wasn't what he was looking for. It didn't have that totally Gyarados attribute to it. God, that'd be cool if he found one. Course he wouldn't, since they didn't even nest here.

"No. Just walk away. I already have one baby Pokemon." Allen just said, pointing away to the Azurill. Maybe if she evolved he'd get another baby. But nothing past Magmar, the Magmortar stage was just a bit... overdose?

Another Hoppip? Not in the slightest. Whatever flying type he caught needed to be awesome, to put its fear into your soul! He'd probably name it Krieg or... something.
