There were many things she could say in response and she would in a moment. Her mind assessed the situation that played out before her. He had used his speed once again, moving faster than he had before. He had not used his full speed before and now he was displaying the full capacity of his movements. Without the armor, or only the armor on his legs, he came at her. Surpassing her dragon she had to think quickly. The dragon stopped, mid charge, morphing back into a blob of blood that hovered in the air before once again taking shape and heading for the Uchiha from behind.
This is going to hurt.... She thought to herself, coming to a decision. She was going to have to 'take one for the team' in order to checkmate the Uchiha scum. Instead of rising to her previous expectations of meeting him head to head she sent her fists toward the ground. The wind cracked the ground around them in a sizeable diameter. This would create an unbalancing force on the Uchiha who was using a series of Taijutsu techniques against her. The round house kick nailed her in the side, Jae feeling the air being knocked out of her chest with an audible 'ummph'. Having expected this level of pain, her concentration remained intact and she narrowed her eyes as she was sent flying back. Her hands made a few hand signals as she was incapacitated and right before she hit the wall she succeeded in providing a sort of buffer for herself. Her clone, the one that had been summoned, had caught her from behind. It had gracefully taken the brute force of Jae's collision into the wall. Even so, despite her efforts, not all of her force could be buffered and a resonating crack and searing pain in her pelvic bone and ribs alerted her that something had broken.
The pain that coursed through her kept her awake and alert to see her final jutsu through. The dragon which had been avoided by some miracle the first time, had already descended upon the Uchiha. It was too late to avoid it. He had damaged her but left himself open. The dragon became suddenly immensely more translucent and collided with the Uchiha's back. Instead of being barraged by a solid force the dragon seemed to ghost into the Uchiha. This technique was not one where 'force' was used. It was the ultimate force of assassination. Jae was laying out on her side now, her breathing pained. Cuts to her arms, legs and back were now showing the slow red color as blood trickled out of the deeper wounds. Stretching out her arm she looked toward the Uchiha, clenching her fist slowly as if she were trying to crush something in her hand.
This dragon had entered the Uchiha's body and like a ghost it would 'swim' through him until it reached his heart. It's jaws would encase the sensitive organ and begin to clamp over it, clamping down in accordance to Jae's will and hand gesture. The lights were dimming now, Jae struggling to get proper breaths in. She was lucky her lung hadn't been punctured but the broken rib was effecting her diaphragm from extending to it's full potential."Its.....over. Give me....the fang." She wheezed out, squeezing her hand some more. The dragon acted in accordance to her gesture, putting more pressure on the Uchiha's heart. If the Uchiha tried to do anything to her as she laid there Jae would kill him. She was serious. If she was going so was he and she wasn't leaving empty handed either. Jae didn't lose not without leaving an impression.

Ｅclipse shifted the weight in her feet as she came within feet of the fellow ANBU. Spinning off of her foot she rotated around and behind the man, sheathing her blades her hands moved fast making hand signs. Steel who kept at her side the whole time jumped to Eclipse. The two being covered in smoke as a large wolf-demon with two heads appear in their place, it's massive paw coming down on the ANBU's back.

As the anbu attack he noticed her shift but she seemed to be a bit faster than him. She then suddenly turned into a large wolf he tried to block the attack. But the giant paw was too much and it sent him flying away. He went into the tree's breaking through many branches and then landed softly on a patch of grass. He was unmoving like the other anbu who had been defeated. It seemed their bodies were at thier limits after several days of being controlled without sleep or food. No wonder they were defeated so easily.

The uchiha hit connected and it seemed she was done for. He couldn't turn around fast enough for the red dragon as it got to him. But it didn't strike him it just went into his body it seemed. He could feel as if something was going through his body. It was uncomfortably painful to have something be swimming through your body. He then felt a pressure in his chest, his breath escaped him for a second as he fell to a knee. He looked over at the girl and noticed her hand gesture he could feel the pressure increase as her hand moved. From either her breathing or her making it close. She said it was over but the hooded man slowly stood. Even with the pressure in his just he slowly began walking towards her all the while speaking."You want the kyuubi's fang? I'm surprised it even occurred to you all to come get ut. We have already obtained the fang and I can't simply hand it to you." The hooded man fell to his knees before Jae."So all I can say is this, come and get it Konoha shinobi. I'll be waiting." he then lunged from his spot on the floor towards Jae. This would most likely make her squeeze her hand fully and cause her jutsu to crush his heart. But when she did that there would be a poof sound with some smoke escaping. As they sat their confused, the truth would slowly dawn on them. This entire time she was never actually fighting the original. From the start it had always been a clone, that why he was on the defensive starting with ninjutsu instead of close combat. He was testing the opponent out before diving into close quarters so that he wouldn't get hit. His opponent severely underestimated him. The real one was waiting where the kyuubi's fang is.
Ｅclipse and Steel separated, departing within the tunnel to Jae and Samuru. Their eyes caught glimpse of the konin that vanished. A clone. Their hues narrowed. Pausing were her fellow members were."Let's keep going."Her voice was sutle as she moved past. Damn I didn't get a good look at the third party. Moving down the tunnel which turned into a hall many doors were connected left and right. But Eclipse knew the main holding area were the Fang would be a direct shot.

As the man lunged at Jae where she lay, Samuru moved to intervene, his body crossing in front of Jae as the man vanished in smoke. Standing firmly in front of her, he waited a heart beat for the man to either appear again or...Clone. he thought, turning quickly to kneel by Jae, pulling his bag off his shoulder. He'd heard the crack and was more intent on making sure Jae hadn't seriously hurt herself "Where?" he asked tightly, knowing Jae would figure it out. He had thick wrapping in his bag, enough to secure any break as well as gauze and regular bandage wrap for open wounds. Feeling Eclipse pass by, not by sensing but by feel and hearing, he didn't look away from Jae, taking out the stiff bandages. Again....again, Samuru had barely contributed to helping her! How could he call himself her partner if he couldn't even get away from a simple Anbu quickly?! His anger at himself showed through as he waited for Jae to speak again.

It was Samuru's sudden presence before her that had driven her to the final act. Like bad dream the " clone" of the enemy dispersed, leaving Samuru and Jae alone in each other's company. Eclipse had gone on ahead with her wolf dog. At that point Jae felt cheated. Pointless mission and pointless fight. Looking up at where Samuru was he knelt beside her, she let out a clipped chortle of laughter. It pained her to do so and she stopped abruptly. "Rib. Not sure which one." She muttered, keeping her gaze on his own. God how she just wanted to be held by him at that point. Pain or no pain it would be heaven sent. "oww," she complained, trying to lighten the atmosphere. "I'm running out of lives..."Jae mused aloud, snickering for a fraction of a second before she gasped. The pain was insufferable. It hurt to even talk let alone smile. Smile she did. Smiling up at him she reached out shaky hand and grasped his own busy hand. "Don't freak out...I'm just going to close my eyes for a second. " Her upper eyelids closed forcefully in her exhaustion.

Lips tightening, Samuru leaned in and gently lifted Jae's shirt to check her ribs. Seeing the bruising and rising swell where one or more had broken, he made a noise in his throat before reaching back. Lightly, he lifted her shoulders so he could pull her closer, the thick bandages in hand to wrap her ribs. Working gently as Jae continued to talk for a few minutes, he didn't reply, only made sure everything was secure. Nothing would move too much, hopefully, before they got to the hospital "You've got plenty of lives left, Jae..." he muttered, kneeling beside her with the normal gauze now. Moving her sleeves to tend to her bleeding wounds, Samuru did worry a fraction when Jae closed her eyes but "Don't sleep yet. Sae will pinch you if have a concussion." he warned, wrapping a particularly nasty cut on her upper arm. He moved carefully to her side now, intending to lift her and take her outside "Can I move you?" he asked.

Warm fingers at her side only seemed to agitate the pain, Jae squeezing her already shut eyes tightly and biting down on her lower lip in order not to let lose any noise. As he pulled her closer she made a noise at the back of her throat, the groan sounding more like a mixture of that and a growl. By the time he was finished she was wrapped tightly enough so that simple movements didn't feel like she was stabbing herself in the side. "It doesn't feel like it. I always pick the wrong fights. Pointless fights." Her eyes were still closed as she laid there. Even despite his warning to stay awake she felt it was getting harder and harder to heed such a warning. She almost swatted him away when he decided to wrap her arms up. Hitting a steel wall had been more damaging than hitting a wall made of stone. The sharp pieces of protruding steel had cut her up enough to make it look like she had dragged herself over barbed wire. She was a Saiketsu, however. Blood loss was dangerous but not at the same time.
The idea of being carried did not bode well with her. Now she opened her eyes, a small scowl forming. The small beads of sweat that formed on her brow made her face glisten somewhat. "You can...but will I let you is the proper question..." Stubborn, even in her condition. You do want to be closer to him without having to admit to that...might as well take advantage of it. Dilemma. "I...don't consider...this a win. A truce." She warned him, recalling the events at the apartment. She had warned him she would not allow for him to carry her off and he had made his stand as well. Her scowl evened out into a smug smirk.

Samuru took her face gently as she spoke of picking the wrong fights and looked her in the eyes for a moment "You have plenty of lives. You have your lives from childhood, your lives from Konoha and now you have your lives with me. Whatever happens in between, events, moments, loss, are single lives that make up an existence, Jae. At least, that's my thinking." letting go of her face, he checked her arms to make sure he'd dealt with the worst injuries.He smiled as he worked, slinging his bag over his shoulders when he'd finished "I will carry you because you can barely sit up and stay awake. How could you manage such a complex act as walking if you can't manage sitting?" he replied, gently taking her arms and putting them around his neck as he wrapped his arm around her back, above her broken ribs. Sliding his other arm under her thighs, he stood in a smooth motion to keep from jostling her "I'm fine with a truce since it lets me hold you in my arms." he replied over her head, starting to walk to the door.

Samuru's words were said with such conviction or passion in them she couldn't say anything in response to him. She simply settled into a meek silence. Not a lot of moment in her life where she was lapsed into silence. Yeah, yeah. She stuck her tongue out at him in response to his comment about her not being able to sit up. As much as it was true, she still didn't like hearing it and being made to be weak. She didn't protest the movements of him placing her arms around his neck. She clung on loosely, tightening her grip as he picked her up in a smooth movement. It hurt like hell and she bit down on her bottom lip once again, groaning as the pain escalated then subsided to a dull ache. Bandage or not it still hurt. At his easy confession she looked at him with a quaint expression. How was it that such things were easy for him to say. She couldn't say them as easily. It was so hard for her. "How do you do that?" Jae asked inquisitively as she let out a slow breath and taking another breath in slowly. She looked away now resting her head just under the side of his chin and at the nape of neck and grove of his shoulders. It hurt to keep her arms stretched out as such so she released her grip, resting her arm on top of her stomach and gripping his left arm around his bicep lightly.

Walking out of the bunker, Samuru was on alert and didn't really reply to Jae's question until they stepped out into the light again. Taking a breath, happy to have some fresh air, he wondered as well "I guess...because I know you won't judge me." he replied, his face rather mellow as he looked around. This MIGHT be a good place for them to rest but...."I couldn't say it if it wasn't you, Jae." glancing to the left, Samuru figured the best place to go would probably be the worst. At least, the outskirts would be fine, better then here for sure and Eclipse was more then capable of handling the real attacker since Jae had managed to deal with such a failure of a clone. Starting to walk again, he didn't really know what else to say "Its....I say it because I love you...so its easy to do."

As Eclipse continued to move on and her team members abandoned her a light with shine threw the tunnel. As she came closer she would find a fairly large white statue like thing in the center of the room this room was enourmous, at this point they were probably inside a mountain or something. It could be nothing else but the Kyuubi's fang. And near the fang stood a man he seemed to be anticipating her arrival. Along the edges lay dozens of civilian looking people tied and bound on the floor. The hooded man finally spoke."I see only one of you came, did the others s**t themselves and run away? I had some high hopes for that pink haired cutie." The hooded man took a few steps forward towards eclipse and only his eyes could be seen."But I guess you will do." Behind him anbu surrounded the kyuubi fang, they were holding a certain handseal as the ground began to glow and a dark foul chakra oozed out from the fang. With the Konin in her way and no backup, it would be almost impossible to stop him.

October Night Starlight
It seemed time was up, the seals on the ground glowed brightly as a mighty roar could be heard even inside as the walls and earth shook."Well, it seems our plan succeeded. We are done here."He then pointed to the civilians who were tied up."These crazy cultist bastards were gonna sacrifice them to the kyuubi, but I roll that way so I kill them before they had a chance. You can take them with you." He then dropped a smoke bomb and all enemies vanished.
Over the village, the spores descended, looking for a specific chakra source. Friendly to all but the harshest of exotic chakra, most folks would be just fine as they were. Descending, they would clean up the area of its infection. Finished, they would form bodies and then leap back away out of the village, leaving the area free of the Kyuubi's chakra infection.
