[Open!] Cain slept on his side, mouth open as saliva dribbled out onto the flat surface of the cage underneath him. He was drooling at the open scent of fresh meat, literally. The Carnival was unpacking and was almost finished as dusk began settling and soft music of the band played with the faint glow of the lights that shone through the flaps of the freak show tent. Because the Carnival had just opened for that evening, business was unbearably slow, and people were his source of food. Once in a while, a couple of people would wander in, no more than one or two at a time as they pointed at the freaks and jeered or gaped at with horror, but never came close enough so that Cain could get a bite. He was hungry, so hungry. Nothing to eat for the past four days which was the whole time they traveled from town to town. All of a sudden, Cain sat up and began to knaw at his chain, as if it would break under his teeth. He had this strangest idea in his mind if he could break out of his chain, he’d be able to get to his straight jacket next and he’d be able to at least satisfy his hunger by eating parts of himself. It was a last resort and he was dying of starvation.
Dr. Umada didn’t get as much stares as he had the last twenty years. His once long white, slicked back hair was replaced by a rusty brown mussy hair, along with his glasses that had gotten broken and he had to get a replacement, which he chose to look like his older ones. He almost looked like himself back before he came to the town in the first place. His claws were still on his back, and people stared at awe in it as it took their tickets to go in when they went through the ‘fun house’. They went in, and they never got back out. It was also where they got a few of their meals for those that craved humans, though Jay tried to persuade the humans to not go in. Those persistent enough ended up....well, in parts. Many times, he’d also have to stop by the first-aid tent once in a while if an ‘accident’ occurred and it was his duty to ‘help’ them. Of course, Umada always did help them, not wanting them to end up like he did, or something far worse like a meal for some other monster. His one and only wish is to still become human and get the life he wanted back, but that would probably be impossible since everyone he knows is either aged to the point of being senile or dead. What a life.

Soraya whisked her hand over the empty canvas and started what would soon be the ocean, she had only seen it once but it stuck out vividly in her mind. Her father was gone to work at the local pub, or bar, she can't remember what he called it but it was one of those. Her dark eyes stayed still as light orchestral music played in the background to fuel her artistic blood, plus it allowed her to work faster since this piece was for someone else. After Soraya had sketched most of it she stood up and placed her paintbrushes in a neat order beside the canvas so she wouldn't have trouble once she started up again. Soraya decided to visit her father for a bit since she had nothing to do. She grabbed an almond cookie off the counter and munched into it on the way out the door, the familiar lock of the door let her know the key turn was successful and she was on her way. She could hear the familiar voices of nearby neighbors and the even smaller voices of their children, Soraya didn't turn to face them though because her eyes freaked the smaller children out.

"Almost ready!" A boy with long blue hair said happily as he tinkered with some wires to a fuse box. He quickly wrapped some wires together like he was sowing almost and with a flip of a switch, the lights to the Scary-go-Round flashed and the cacophony tune that played started to fill the air, a smile of accomplishment on his face. "Fantastic!" He said happily and then went back to his own station to tell his fiancee the that the attraction is now fixed.
The bar was filled with smug looking thugs that seemed that they all held their bottles ready for a brawl. Adrian was behind the bar, cleaning some glasses as he sighed in boredom. "When is my shift over..." He murmured to himself, wishing he could light one of his cancer sticks right about now, maybe take a nice glass of sake with a blank canvas in front of him ready to be made into a grimace setting of horror and gore. "That new carnival that's a bit away is supposed to be all scary and dark. It'd be the perfect place to relax and get some art done too." He said to himself as he cleaned.

Whether or not she knew it, Karma had made her way around the place and now stood in front of Cain's cage. She blinked a number of times before finally realizing where she was standing. The cannibalistic human before her was busy gnawing away at the chains constraining him that he didnt' even know she was there. Of course her laughter would have probably caught his attention. She laughed for two reasons, one was the fact that she wound up standing there, and two was how funny Cain looked doing what it was he was doing. "If you break your teeth now then how ever will you be able to eat what I brought you?"
Karma wasn't all too sure if she had any human parts until she checked her bag. Luckily she did, she pulled out a foot and a hand that belong to a teenage boy who wanted to see if a certain girl would be in his future. The memory of it made her laugh since the answer was obviously no. "So do you want it?" Karma asked now focusing on the boy in front of her, her eyes filled with enjoyment.

Abigail wasn't all too sure who owned the carnival that was set up near town. She had been working on some songs that would perhaps match some acts that were shown in the carnival and considering the fact that it was a rather eerie carnival...she even made creepy music. Every now and then the stations that played classical music would play some of her pieces, and that always brought her pride and joy. Aside from the side work, Abigail was working on a big piece and she needed inspiration for it. She figured going to the carnival would give her a stroke of inspiration, if not, then she could try and sell some of her songs she composed to the owner.
The walk there was long but she enjoyed it. She didn't like driving all to much since she couldn't hear the music of the world all too much so she preferred walking. It didn't take her too long to arrive near the carnival.

Soraya managed to get to the bar by herself, it was the recognizable odor it gave off. She opened the doors and walked in to the chatter of mostly male voices, they were flamboyant with the smell of liquor on their breathe. She walked her way to the bar and felt for an empty seat, she could hear her father's familiar voice talking to some customers. "Hi Daddy." she said quietly. Her father turned her direction and walked over, "Hi sweetie, nice to see you." he replied. Soraya nodded her head, "You too Daddy." but her father couldn't talk for long as he had work to do. Today was an unusually busy day for them with all the hustle and bustle; probably to do with the circus that was in town.

'I'm in Hell.' Rosemarie thought to herself, for perhaps the three hundred billionth time that day. All around her were things she despised, a life she had grown accustom to, things that helped encrust her heart in bitter jade. She silently angsted over the hungry leering, quietly bemoaned the hideous bouncing flesh that surrounded her, and all around loathed the tight-fitting uniform she had to wear. As is no surprise, she associated all of these horrors with work. Being a Hooters Girl sucked. Nevertheless, she suffered a pleasant smile and outwardly friendly behavior as she counted down the secconds until her shift was up. And as expected of her, she dropped shift and bolted the moment her work hours were up.
Rosemarie had quite the evening planned, a nice escape before she ended the night. Not even wanting to bother with that dingy apartment of her's, Rosemarie had changed into a nice brown leather trenchcoat and matching boots in one of the bathroom stalls, wearing the thin uniform underneath if only because she felt uncomfortable going around in only a coat, boots, and underwear. Well, at least she'd have a chance to check out that supposedly creepy carnival that was in town. She'd been looking forward to her trip, to be around the sort of things she loved for once. In fact, as she headed to her destination, she wore a broad and merry grin, beaming like a bright and sunny day.

Serrenedy was having a good day. Not a good morning, as she'd woken up to find her glamour weakened. It had scared her to see the mildly pretty young woman; limp hair and crows feet, and dull eyes. She quickly wrapped herself up and left out. The fortune both was empty, so shesat down calmly. A woman entered. young, beautiful, and stupid...perfect. Does the pretty thing want her fortune read? She smiled once, trying to keep the joy out of her voice. The woman sat-long blonde hair, large bust, exquisite face, flawless skin, and bright eyes. She gave Serrenedy her hands. First mistake. As Serrenedy grabbed them she absorbed the beauty like a sponge. She relished the feel, holding the woman's still lovely hands too her. "Miss? My...reading?" Serrenedy's eyes snapped open, the woman less pretty now. Actually, she was hungry too. Engaged She murmured, noticing the tan line on the woman's finger. The woman nodded. Serrenedy smiled as her hands tightened on the woman's. You shall never know love again. She said calmly. The woman's eyes widened, then narrowed. What kind of sick joke are you playing at woman!?. I'll have you know I've got a boyfriend that adores me and we- He will desert you She said confidently. All were desert you, as ugly on the outside as you are on the inside. To illustrate her point, she pulled out a mirror. The woman screamed to see herself; riddled with acne, frizzy dry and dying hair, sagging skin, body gone, fingernails jagged, teeth destroyed WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME!!!!An audible gulp was herd as the woman continued to scream. Serrenedy frowned as she pretended to be upset. Do you wish to be the way you were before? To be a man's everything She asked. I warn you, your wish is my command The woman stupidly begged to be the center of a man's world. The last thing she saw was Serrenedy's true form before she died of fright. Serrenedy laughed as she took the body out, looking like a young girl helping out her elderly grandmother almost. She dragged the body to Cain's cage, then stopped to see him with Karma. OH jezz Cain, can't even let me find you a meal before you go begging for others She scowled at Karma, before smiling playfully. Oh well, if you'd ratter that then this She smiled and turned to take the body away. She stopped only to smile at her reflection, long shiny black hair, flawless skin, and mysteriously entrancing amethyst eyes. Perfect she purred dropping the body a while away from Cain and smoothing out her features

Karma was certainly allowed to mess with others, but it never worked the other way around. Never would she let someone mess with her, or her pet. Cain, was sadly labeled as Karma's pet, in Karma's twisted little mind. For a moment Karma put her hand into her bag and grabbed the voodoo doll of Serrenedy but let it go since she wasn't in that evil of a mood. It was foolish for anyone of them to mess with a witch doctor, specifically Karma. The voodoo woman smiled at Serrenedy, "Go on and scare the living day lights out of humans with your looks, though in my eyes your just gorgeous." Of course, there was a slight hint of sarcasm, but that's the way Karma was. She pointed at the dead body and slowly motioned it to inch over and it slowly began to drag towards her. When it reached her feet she began to chop it up as she pulled out an axe from her bag. Yes, she basically had a Mary Poppins bag. Karma tossed in two arms at Cain but still wanted to mess with him before giving him the rest of the body.

Faye was under the hood of one of her contraptions, the sounds of electricity and assorted clanging coming from within as she worked. "Oopsie...." she said before there was a small 'FWOOM' and matching smoke cloud erupted from the machine. "That wasn't supposed to happen." she said to no one in particular, unaware that Nicholas was back as she continued her work, ignoring her completely black head and her slightly singed and frazzled hair.

Serrnedy turned with bright eyes at the compliment. Normally, she'd have to bribe Cain with food to get those words out of someone's mouth. She brushed back her hair and curtsied to the witch doctor. Right as always. Are you sure you're just a witch doctor? With such beauty and power-you should be labeled as a queen, or goddess. She nodded once. Yes, that's what I shall call you from now on-Karma the Voodoo Goddess She walked over, more like gliding due to her recent feeding. She took one long lovely finger and traced Karma's face thoughtfully. She didn't activate her touch, for though Karma was lovely-she wasn't so stupid as to touch the witch doctor until she retrieved her own doll. That and, she didn't feel like it-right now, she only wished to touch Karma, skin felt so lovely against her own.

Cain stopped chewing at his chains and looked up to the voice that was directed to him. His memories were vague and he didn't remember faces all too well anymore, and this girl was no different. Quickly, his nose picked up the faint scent of blood. One cold and one fresh. now, the meat he craved for. For a moment, he stared and growled before pressing up against the cage and gnashing his teeth. So close, and yet so far away, the only thing that kept him alive now was to eat his own race. It tasted like nothing other, but the best part was how it went down. Karma teasing him with food didn't help it as he rammed the cage, wanting to break out and eat every human he saw. Finally, he worked up to exhaustion as he laid his head against the bars of the cage, panting and staring hungerly at the mouthwatering meat, and now Serrenedy had just taken away another source of his favorite food. When Karma finally tossed him just a hint of food Cain literally pounced on it and dug his teeth into the rough flesh. The arms weren't the best part, but it would have to do. He was simply just a beast that loved to eat things cold.
Umada sighed as his claws, which weren't haywire, began picking at his hair, as if poking fun at him and sometimes snapping at those that went by, scaring them off. Just as he had gotten his upgrades from Faye, Nick helped as well. And thanks to his 'help' with his more demonic personality now, his mechanical limbs have a mind of their own and he can't seem to override them. It's like he has to ask them to do something or to not do something. It was a pain when they got bored and they began to toy with him, since he had no control over them and couldn't really do anything about it.
