CAKA Chapter 1: Ruins in the Swamp

Farous turned his had to watch the climbers as he followed Genji. "They're like monkeys. I can't do that, that's for sure." He kpet behind Genji as they walked, stepping where the minotaur stepped.

Mich falls out of the tree and lands on his butt.

(Lulz. Not exactly my character's strong suit. Climbin's again, same +6.)

Mich swore just under his breath as he saw the branch go past his eye level and land flat on his butt. Swearing again under his breath, he tried to find some footholds on the tree and climb again.

Spot check to see if I can see any Gnolls. It's at +6

Mich succeeds at moving to the next tree from the ground; Felinni sees no gnolls and also sees no kobolds beyond a few shapes along the outer wall. Nothing else is determined to be in sight.

I'll roll a spot check too. +8.

Mich determines that four Kobolds patrol the outer edges of the camp, wearing padded armor and armed with short spears. They also have clarion horns strapped to their belts in case of an emergency, and a small bag of coins.

"Hey Fel, can you see those Kobolds? Looks like they have some clarion horns on 'em... Damn, that makes killing them a bit harder..." Mich whispered to the man with him in the tree.  

[Michael Bladebreaker]

Felinni shook his head, 'No, I can't see anything yet... Wait, there's a couple of them on the walls, right? So if they have clarion horns, then... We just have to take those horns out.' He nodded now, and drew his crossbow.

(How far away are we, and how many of them have horns?)

((EC is going to be gone for a few days, business with his family out of state. Boonies area so no internet. Cannon and I are close friends so he told me to inform you of the cause of his absence.))
