Nowe looked over and saw the cat. Of course, he didn't know it was a ninja, but he did like animals. "Oh hey....who do you belong to?" Nowe asked, walking over to the cat and crouching down. He put a finger to the top of it's head. "Keep running off and you'll have poor genin on your tail."

Walking down a small path a young woman with bright red hair lifted the straw hat she wore slightly to look at the gate infront of her. "Back again" she said with a small smile as she walked towards them. A leaf headband hung around her right arm tightly tied and displaying the symbol proudly. "Some time indeed" she whispered pulling the hat back down over her face and moving her ponytail to her back and off of her shoulder.
The young sannin Kohane had returned to the village she had called home for many years. Looking around as she walked she noticed very few changes which seemed the same no matter how long she had lived there. "Awhile apart and it's still the same as I left it" she told herself with a smile. Lifting her hand up Kohane slowly pulled the hat off her head letting it hang by a string around her neck and rest easily on her back. "I wonder where everyone is" she questioned under her breath as she looked around.

"Hyaah" a voice yelled as a spear was swung spinning rapidly from side to side before being stopped and thrust into the trunk of a tree. The spear tip embeded itself about half way into it as it stuck fast. "Oh man" kyo muttered giving it a tug but not being able to get it out. "Give it back" he growled at the tree as he walked up the trunk and put his feet on either side of the shaft. Bending down kyo gave a loud tug at the spear trying to dislodge it. A sudden relief of pressure made Kyo lose his footing and fall of the trunk with the spear in hand a loud thud echoing. "Oww" he muttered laying on the ground for a moment before slowly getting up and rubbing his head.

 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Kiri sat on top of Hokage mountain, looking over the village. She'd arrived the day before, disappointed to find none of her friends back yet. Her hair hung loose around her shoulders now rather than tied in her twin pony tails. She'd also cut it quite a bit. It now hung just past her shoulders rather than all the way to her waist. Her outfit too, had changed. One thing that hadn't changed was the leaf headband tied around her slim waist. With a sigh, Kiri sat crosslegged, elbow on knee and head in hand. "It's so quite here without Nowe." She murmured to herself, thinking about her friend. They had left the village at the same time, going their own ways. She hadn't seen him in two years. It made her wonder how he'd changed.  The tiger that should be....isn't....

The cat gave a stupid "Nyah" to fake confusion. Stupid kid, he doesn't seem so special to me, Baka-desu. The cat purred calmly and lept onto his shoulder, perching there like a bird.

Nowe laughed a little and stood up, petting the cat with one hand. "Your a friendly one." he said. Though as he touched the cat, his expression changed into one of confusion. He then smiled a little activating his Rinnegan. "I can feel your chakra....so unless your a bad a** ninja cat, you've got to be a ninja." He then titled his head in thought, "Your not kiri are you?"
A snake slowly crept towards Kiri, watching her carefully. The snake it'self had some black metal attached to it, made of the same metal as Kiri's bracelet. It suddenly slithered up to her and wrapped it'self around her arm, seeing nothing wrong in it.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Kiri glanced at the snake, catching the movement from the corner of her eye. She smiled softly. She'd become much more accepting of snakes since Nowe had started summoning them. She chuckled as it wrapped itself around her arm. Stroking it's head softly, she noticed the black metal and grinned. "At least I know who you belong to." She said lightly, touching her own bracelet. She blinked in surprise at the feeling that flooded her. Every other time she'd touched the bracelet, she had felt Nowe's chakra but it was far away. Now though......Now it felt close. She scrambled to her feet, grinning at the snake. "Let's find your master, shall we?" She asked, taking off into the village, following the tug of Nowe's chakra. She continued to absentmindedly pet the snake as she searched, something she would never have done two years ago. Two years ago, she could barely look at the snakes, let alone touch them. The tiger that should be....isn't....

The cat seemed to pull back in shock. It jumped away and laughed. "Nope, I'm Squad 3 member 3. Nise Supin, Information specialist, and Henge prodigy, Baka-desu." She turned back in a puff of smoke and yawned, going into Lazy Nise mode. "But I'm boring....Your the one who's interesting, or so says Kinuyama-sensei. But I don't see it, you guessed I was a ninja, so what?"

Nowe's Rinnegan faded away, going back to their blue color. He looked a bit confused. "Kinuy things I'm interesting?" He asked. Then he smiled a little, "Guess I should take that as a compliment. "But as a ninja you should know...never judge someone by appearances." He said, noteing that the snake had found Kiri and she was approaching.

Kikou sat on a roof looking at the hokage cleft with a sigh he laid down watching the clouds after a bit he said "I should go back to Kin sensei"

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Spotting Nowe, Kiri grinned. She figured the snake had probably told him she was coming but she didn't care. "Nowe!" She cried happily, jumping onto his back in a glomping hug. "You're back! Finally! I've been bored these past couple days!" The tiger that should be....isn't....

The words rang to her like a broken parrot. " I know, I know, Sensei says that all the time. Hey, give me a sample of your jutsu, Baka-desu!" She grinned, obviously not asking.

Nowe raised an eyebrow, "A match? here and now?" Before he could give this answer though, he nearly fell over as Kiri plowed into him. He managed to stay on his feet, and laughed as she supported her on his back. "Kiri! Your a sight for sore eye's...if I could see you....get off my back?"

Walking thru the streets Kohane had seen Nowe from a distance. Stopping tho she suppressed her chakra fully to where not even Nowe could pick it up. Watching him tho Kohane simply took a few moments pause waiting for Kiri. A few moments passed at the ninja was plowing into Nowe nothing different then usual. "Seems like nothing has really changed" Kohane said as she started to walk towards them. "Even apart for a year there still like that" she chuckled letting her chakra return to being detectable as she got closer to them. "Hello you two" she said taking little note of the other ninja who had been a cat a few moments earlier.

"You've still got a ways to go Kyo, but come on, one of my birds gave me some good news." Zane said with a smile as he got up and helped the Genin up. Boy won't they be in for a shock." Zane thought with a smile, Nowe and Kiri were going to flip when they saw what he had been doing the past couple of years.
