Lancer watched as Lykas appeared near the farthest edge of Pan's glacier. Mr. Mime's Reflect shattered under Lugia's attack after a moment and the ice exploded apart, leaving dozens of smaller glaciers scattered across the calm.

"Alright, Lanturn, let's try something else. Use Screech!" the boy ordered quickly. Lanturn nodded and inhaled deeply.

Lugia could see Wendy and her Altaria off in one corner, the Altaria's body beginning to crackle as it used a Dragon Dance, and in a flash, an Ancient Power was blasting her way. The sea water rose and turned, twisted and churned as Lugia's prehistoric power gurgled forth from the depths. The ocean seemed to be angry and willing to seek it's own revenge as a massive hand-like fin formed from the water and swatted Wendy away. Altaria, as ready as it had been, was sent hurtling into the sea.

Wendy landed hard on the largest remaining glacier and slid across the ice for several feet. Lykas ran to her side as quickly as he was able and knelt next to her. "Are you alright?" he asked her as he tried to help her up.

"Oohh..." the teen groaned as she rolled onto her back in Lykas' arms. "I'd be better....if I could....get that gem..." she said slowly, fluttering her eyes at the teenage boy. "But...I need it..." Lykas protested meekly. "But...you wouldn't get it for a girl in need?" she aske,d leaning up and kissing him on his lips.

That was the last straw for Lykas. He shoved the girl away from him, turned his head and spit as if he were purging himself of poison. "Jeeze...Anna was right. You really are a slut." he remarked with smirk, turning back to face her as he stood.

Wendy climbed to her feet, the plain blue dress she wore looking quite rough now. Her face was contorted with confusion and rage. "Why won't you do what I want!?" she demanded.

"Two reasons. One, I'm not a whore that'll fall for any slut's tricks. And 2, I'm not into chicks." Lykas replied as he readied himself for what he was certain was coming.

"Well fine, you little queer!" Wendy cried as she she drew her own blade, a sabre of beautiful crafting. "If you won't do for me, then die for me!" she screamed as she rushed at the blue haired boy.

Lancer and Anna tag teamed Lugia. Mr. Mime conjured up a Thunderbolt, summoning lightning from the storm outside the calm. Lanturn tried a Signal Beam, sending the dual colored blast spiraling past Lugia in an attempt to cage it in and keep it distracted.

Lykas fell into a dance that followed an ever changing tempo, blocking each of Wendy's blows. "Stand still!" the brunette cried in anger. "Sorry, darling, I don't feel like getting skewered." Lykas replied as he danced around her and stabbed fiercely at her lower stomach. "But I think you'd make a lovely treat, frozen!" he cried.

Lancer nodded at hearing Lykas' call and had Lanturn use Icy Wind on the teen. The brunette practically shrieked at the frigid wind and jumped away from the sensation. Landing on the slippery, and melting, ice, she slid backwards several feet, stopping just shy of falling into the ocean. "Altaria!" she cried, urgently.

"Rrriiiaaa!" came the melodious call as the fluffy clump of draconic bird erupted from the water, catching the falling female with its fluffy wings. "Dragonbreath that annoyance!" she screamed as the dragon carried her into the air.

Altaria didn't get the chance to attack as Lugia blasted through the air, it's eyes blazing blue. "Ggyyyaaaaoouuuu!" it cried as it let out bursts of psychic energy with Extrasensory, attacking everything it could see. Wendy and Altaria both crumpled up and screamed as their minds suffered what felt like being run through a paper shredder.

Lykas felt the attacks effects as well. "Gaaahhhhhh!" he screamed as his body tensed, feeling as if he were being stretched apart at his very seams. His weakness to Psychic Pokemon wasn't anywhere near gone, he was just used to Mykel, it would appear.

Lancer, Anna and Terk all felt the effects, as did their Pokemon. Only Pan was left standing and capable of keeping Lugia distracted. She could see the Aegir's Sapphire floating harmlessly above the waves, and she remembered what Anna had told her.

"The kid's not part of our war. Let him take the rock and we'll finish this another time, when it's just us. He's got a good reason for going through all this. We're just here because we have to be. So bad girl or not, help us help that kid?"

"I knew I never should have agreed to that...." the raven haired woman sighed as she directed her Wailmer to use Bounce and distract Lugia long enough for the others to recover.
PostPosted: Wed Apr 29, 2009 8:35 pm

Wailmer flopped onto a fragment of glacier and used the frozen water to get traction and take off. Inhaling deeply, it bobbed about for a moment before launching itself high into the air. Pan held tight as she rode the airborne whale for all it was worth. "Waahoo!!" she cried as they fell through the air, Wailmer using an Ice Beam to encase itself in a bubble of ice.

Lugia looked up at the falling beast and opened it's mouth. "Ggyyaaaooouuu!" it wailed as it let loose an Aeroblast. Wailmer's ice shell slowly chipped away, though it continued to barrel it's way through the massive blast of energy.

Pan was ducked down on Wailmer's back, wishing like hell that she'd stayed int he water. "Take this!" she screamed as she felt Wailmer impact the mighty creature.

Lancer finally managed to get his vision straightened out, having been knocked cross eyed by Lugia's Extrasensory. "Let's go, Lanturn. Use a Thunderbolt!" he cried hurriedly. The boy knew that they could never defeat the Beast of the Sea, even with as many of them as there were.

Anna awakened from her Lugia induced daze shortly after Lancer. She and Mr. Mime were running along the length of the glacier they were standing on. Mr. Mime was using Magical Leaf to continuously attack, trying it's best to keep the mighty creature away from Lykas.

Wendy awakened next, her Altaria under her like some fluffy cushion. She ignored Lugia and turned to Lykas and Mykel. "We'll finish of this little punk right now, Ally. Us your Draco Meteor!" the little, blue clad wench cried.

"I don't think so!" Mykel cried as he shot into the air. He'd been hiding behind Lykas all this time, continuously using Calm Mind. An intense blue glow surrounded the Ralts as he used Psychic, his mental energy flaring out and ensnaring the Altaria before it could issue it's attack.

"Let's see how Lugia likes a taste of Dragon energy." the Psychic type said with a smirk as he forced Altaria to turn in the air and face Lugia. "Do it!" he cried as he released his hold on the beast, which had been preventing the creature from releasing it's attack.

"Taaaarrriiiaaa!" Altaria cried in protest as it was forced to direct its attack at the wrong target. Wendy grimaced as she watched, from atop the bird's back, as they were forcibly used against Lugia. "Not fair!" she screamed as she flailed her arms about, positively throwing a tantrum now.

Lugia looked up at the screaming, only to see an enormous blast of draconic power flyign at it. "Gyyaaaooouuu!" it cried out as it attempted to use Extrasensory to stop the attack, or at least to move it. It didn't seem to be working at first, but when the attack grazed past the bird, barely clipping it, it became obvious just how powerful the beast was.
PostPosted: Thu Apr 30, 2009 1:23 pm

Lugia looked around at all of the annoyances and it seemed to be patiently waiting, simply taking in all of the incoming attacks as if they were no more than Venonat swarming about it.

"It's planning something! Be ready for anything!" Terk called as she and Dragonite finally recovered and rushed back into the fray.

"We" "Kinda" "Figured" "As much!" the others replied, continuing each others sentence until it was done.

No one expected what came next. "This ends, now!" came Lykas' voice as he staggered to his feet on the ice. His normally friendly and worried demeanor as nowhere to be found. His eyes glared at Lugia, cold and hard. "I don't have time to keep fighting with you, dammit!" he screamed as he pointed at Lugia. "Mykel, I don't like asking you to do this, but use Destiny Bond on that thing and stop running." he ordered.

"Even if it hits us, and knocks us both out, or worse, the others will have a chance to finish this damned mission and get back alive." he told the Ralts. "O-ok..." Mykel replied, most definitely filled with fear now. But nonetheless, his body took on an eerie, shadowy glow as a thread of shadows and darkness crept through the air from the Ralts body towards Lugia.

The other five students watched this occurrence, all of them having an idea what Lykas was planning. Even Wendy, who'd been trying to kill him herself, was shocked at the course of action he'd chosen. "We have to stop that thing before it has a chance to attack them!" she called to the others, her tune suddenly changed.

Terk and Dragonite heard Wendy's call and rushed to her side. "Wanna give it a double Dragon Rush?" she asked. "Yeah, We gotta stop that idiot." Wendy replied.

"Dragonite!"

"Ally!"

"Dragon Rush!" they called together. Dragonite and Altaria nodded in sync, their bodies taking on a powerful glow as they charged all of their draconic energy into an adrenaline rush effect.

"Let's go!" Wendy cried as Altaria pooled it's energy deep in it's body.

"Attack!" Terk cried as Dragonite signaled it was ready. The two shot through the sky towards Lugia, slamming it with powerful attacks over and over again. The attacks scattered smoke and downy feathers from the clash, both Lugia's and Altaria's.

Lugia let out a defiant cry as it's eyes took on an unholy glow and it's ancient might became known once more. The calm sea churned and boiled as stones of immense proportions rose from the depths and rocketed through the sky, slamming into Altaria and Dragonite, dealing excellent damage to them both. Neither liked that attack very much, nor did their female trainers, both of whom were barely able to avoid being killed by it.

Anna and Lancer looked to Lykas, worried looks on their faces. "We have to stop this battle before he gets himself killed." Anna said as she looked to Mr. Mime. "Let's go, Mr. Mime!" she cried as she ran forward, glacier hopping towards the mighty sea guardian.

"Go, Lanturn, go!" Lancer cried as he pointed at Lugia. Lanturn nodded and followed after Anna and Mr. Mime, slicing through the water at high speed.

"Let's go, Thunderbolt!" Lancer cried as Lanturn unleashed a powerful current of lightning at the Beast of the Sea.

"Mr. Mime, use Psybeam!" Anna ordered quickly. Mr. Mime nodded and held it's hands out, blasting a multicolored ray of Psychokinetic energy at the creature before them.

"Mykel, use an Icy Wind! Obliterate it so we can get out of here." Lykas ordered, his eyes hardened and still filled with determination. Mykel nodded, keeping quiet as he sensed Lykas' determination. Waving his hands in a circular motion, the Ralts conjured up a powerful, frigid gale aimed at Lugia.

Lanturn's Thunderbolt struck Lugia hard, sending crackling lightning shooting across it's body. Lugia shrieked in pain as it twisted and writhed in the air, attempting to escape the unpleasant sensation.

Mr. Mime's Psybeam grazed past it as it fought against Lanturn's attack. Either the mime had horrible aim or Lugia was simply moving to much to get a decent lock on it. The attack didn't seemed to do any damage, but then, Lugia was also not all that affected by the many other attacks being landed on it.

Just as Mykel's Icy Wind plowed through the warm sky at it, it's body blazed with a crimson aura. "Gyyyaaooouuu!" it screamed as it spread it's wings wide, tucking them in a moment later.

"It's Sky Attack!" Anna warned as the mighty creature dove low and lashed out at her and Mr. Mime. Its large wing brushed the glacier upon which they stood, shattering the icy foothold into many pieces. "Aaaahhh!" "Miiiimmmeee!" the two cried as they were knocked from their places and dumped in the drink.

"Look out, Lanturn!" Lancer cried as he dived into the water and swam away from Lugia as fast as he was able. Lanturn was unable to get away from the speedy attack, even as it dived beneath the waves. Lugia cut through the water's surface and slammed the fish hard as it descended. Lancer could only see bubbles burst at the water's surface as his Pokemon cried out in pain. "Lanturn!" he wailed as he swam towards his Pokemon.

No-one knew where Lugia was now that it was hiding under the water.
PostPosted: Thu Apr 30, 2009 11:32 pm

Anna looked around frantically, hoping she could find Mr. Mime, as she tread water. The Pokemon was nowhere to be seen as first, though after a few minutes of searching, she found the mime floating face up and out cold. "Sorry for putting you through this, Mr. Mime." she said as she recalled the Psychic type. "Does anyone know where Lugia went?" she called as she spun around in the open water and looked at the others.

"I dunno." Lancer replied as he finally reached Lanturn. The Water type was floating belly up and knocked out when he got there so he recalled it with a sigh of regret. "Sorry, my friend." he said as he looked around for his and Anna's rivals, hoping the other three still had Pokemon able to battle.

Pan finally made a new appearance, Wailmer having taken a few moments in hiding to recover from it's last attack. "I think it's still underwater." she said as she rode Wailmer over to Lancer and pulled him up onto it's back.

"Oh, great." Anna replied as she swam toward the large whale. "We better take the only chance we got if it's not up here." she added as she reached Pan. The black haired female took Anna's hand as Lancer took the other and they pulled her onto Wailmer's back, together.

"Wendy! Terk!" Pan called to the other women with her. She motioned to Lykas and they got the message. Pan had filled them in rather quickly, via a short-wave communication system they all used. "I'll get him, I can make it look like an accident. He's not supposed to know we're helping him, after all." Terk told Wendy, who was flying by her side. Wendy nodded as Terk and Dragonite blasted towards the boy.

Dragonite blasted through the air towards Lykas. It had it's sight locked on the boy for it's mission and knew what it was supposed to do. "Remember, Drago, make it look like you're angry and trying to hurt him. We want him to think this is an accident." Terk reminded the Dragon type. "Draaagggoooo." Dragonite keened out softly, signalling that it understood.

Lykas looked up just in time to see, not Dragonite coming at him, but Lugia bursting from the sea with it's mouth agape, wind and light spiraling within the open maw. "Gyaou!" it shrieked out as it unleashed an Aeroblast, aimed right at Lykas.

"NO!" came four shouts as the boy's life flashed before his eyes. I'm a dead man! was the only thing he could think before the sound of impact met his ears. He went cross eyed for a moment as immense pain washed over him. It took a moment for him to realize that he'd never felt the attack strike him. "Huh?" he murmured as he looked up at Lugia. His vision was blocked by Mykel, a shadowy aura surrounding the Pokemon as he used Destiny Bond again. "Mykel!" he cried as he ran forward and tried to pull Mykel back to the ground.

"I don't have the energy to take it with me!" the small Psychic type cried in pain and regret. I'm sorry, Lykas!" he said as the shadowy aura faded away and the Ralts fell into Lykas' arms.

Lugia wasn't down for the count, but it was definitely not going to be fighting for a moment. Terk and Dragonite, who'd been knocked backwards and into the sea when Lugia emerged, finally got back in the air and shot around the beast, grabbing Lykas and Mykel from the glacier as they passed.
PostPosted: Fri May 01, 2009 12:51 am

"You're not going anywhere, kid!" Terk said in a threatening voice. Dragonite held the boy tightly, leaving him barely capable of returning Mykel to his Pokeball. "Leave me alone!" Lykas protested in anger, wriggling like an Ekans in an attempt to break free.

"Sorry, kid, but you're mine now!" Terk replied, sounding very much like she was going to torture him to death. Se didn't get the chance though as the trio heard Lugia's defiant cry from behind them. It had finally recovered and began to beat it's wings hard, sending a snow filled squall at them. The Beast of the Sea summoned a powerful Blizzard, blowing Dragonite about as if it were a leaf in the wind.

"Careful, Dragonite!" Terk called as the dragon tried to endure the cold, not doing too well. In a last ditch effort to survive, it threw Lykas high into the air and crossed it's arms over it's chest in an attempt keep warm.

"Whoa!" Lykas screamed in surprise as he flipped through the snowstorm. "Aaahhh!" he wailed as he finally began his descent. Falling through the suddenly dark sky, he found the glow of the Aegir's Sapphire coming at him rapidly. I can get it!" he screamed in his mind, reaching out for all he was worth to try and catch the glowing speck in the storm. It's mine![/] his mind screamed as he felt something bump into his palm.

Splashing into the sea brought him back to the battle at hand.

"Anna, the ship!" Lancer cried as he looked over to see thei ship slowly coming apart as the buildup of ice and snow caused it to capsize and break apart.

Thankfully, Mare seemed unharmed as the Phione drifted over to Lancer and Anna.

Lykas opened his eyes as he floated to the water's surface. The frigid air of the Blizzard chilled him to the bone. "Damn you!" he cried as he looked up at Lugia.

Lancer grabbed Mare and picked the small Phione up, holding it close to his chest to keep it safe. "Phi phi!" the Water Type sea prince cried as it's flotation sac and head ribbon glowed. The Blizzard suddenly came to a stop, even the snow itself freezing in place for a moment.

"I think....it took control of the storm." Anna said as she looked at Mare, then back at Lugia. "I don't think it's gonna like that!" she cried, realizing what Mare had in mind.

The Phione's head ribbon lashed out and the Blizzard suddenlt condensed into a comet sized ball. The Blizzard Meteor shot through the sky and slammed into Lugia, freezing part of it's body as the intense cold enveloped its still wet body.

Lykas took that chance as he swam over to the ship and began throwing pieces of it together. "I hope you guys know how to windsurf." he told the others as he put the last piece on a hand made wind board.

"No problem!" Wendy cried as she and Altaria came over to him and Wendy began helping him put the ships pieces together into several more. "Don't think this means I like you, kid!" she said after a moment, thoroughly meaning it.

"Never crossed my mind." Lykas replied. "Besides, I still think you're a slut." he told her as the two of them finished a third board.
PostPosted: Fri May 01, 2009 1:18 am

Lykas got two of the boards to Lancer and Anna, each one climbing onto onw of them. "Let's get the hell out of here!" Lancer cried as he held tightly to Mare.

"I agree!" Anna declared as she jumped onto the other.

"What about the Sapphire?" Pan asked as she looked around. "I don't see it!" she cried. She'd never truly intended to just let Lykas get his hands on it, but Terk and Dragonite had made that part easy. It hadn't been as intentional as they had meant it to be, but still, Lykas had gotten his hands on it during Lugia's Blizzard and no one could see him do it.

"Lugia probably knocked it into the ocean with that last attack. It disappeared in the middle of the storm." Wendy explained as she returned to Pan's ship. "We should get out of here while we have the chance!" she cried as a great cracking sound filled the air. Lugia was breaking free.

"Fine! We'll settle this another time." Pan agreed as she returned to her ship. Terk and Dragonite were right behind her, though the Dragon was obviously on it's last legs, collapsing as soon as it had the woman on the ship's deck.

"We'll see you back at The Academy!" Pan threatened as she and her cohorts recalled their severely weakened Pokemon. She manned the helm and their ship was quickly disappearing into the never ending storm.

"Let's go!" Lykas called to his allies. None of them had their Pokemon left so each was left with only their sword to defend themselves on the way out of Dagon. "Be careful and don't do anything stupid!" he called as he climbed onto his own wind board and let the waves push him out into the storm.

"Follow my lead!" Lykas called over the howl of the Dagon storm. Anna and Lancer nodded as they followed him, the latter still clutching Mare tightly to him.

The three heard the crunch and crack of breaking ice as Lugia broke free of it's imprisonment. "Let's go! Now!" Anna cried as she and Lancer followed the waves out into the storm.

Lykas opened his board's sail and let the wind propel him forward, picking up great speed in the storm's powerful squalls. He cut through the smaller waves head on and skated along the length of large ones until he was able to clear the tops of them, jumping into the air, where he pulled in the sail to reduce drag and prevent him from simply being blown away.

Anna and Lancer copied his motions as best they could, finding that it wasn't as hard as they'd assumed, but that might have been attributed to the life or death situation they were currently in. "Look out, Lykas! Sharpedo and 2 o'clock!" Lancer cried as he leaned forward a bit to try and speed up.

Lykas barely heard Lancer and turned to look, seeing the moderately sized Dark type coming at him quickly. "I can't let that thing hit me!" he reminded himself. Rough Skin would be enough to bleed him dry this far from land and fresh water. He skirted around the Sharpedo and found that it was after Lancer, not him. "It's after Mare!" he called to Anna as the Sharpedo leaped from the water at Lancer.

Anna cut towards the boy, just barely getting there in time to slam the flat side of her Rapier into the beast's snout. The action managed to deflect Sharpedo knocking it into the water again and under Lancer.

"Nice moves!" Lancer called as he smirked at Anna.

"I wouldn't need 'em if you weren't such tempting shark bait." Anna remarked back, her voice caught up int he wind and barely reaching Lancer's ears.

Lykas was the only one of them to see the enormous shape rising from the depths. It was hard to tell yet what it was, other than that it was ungodly huge.
