When he rose again, the eyes were as blank and eerie as ever, but the friendly expression remained to reassure her. " Your name, my lady? It would be an honor were you to tell me it? " He said as he extended a paw to her, hoping she would stop her retreat with knowing he was not an enemy.

" That he is. " He said, keeping hold of her paw after the shake, bringing it to his lips to gently kiss the back. He was raised to be a gentleman after all.

" He sighed, firmly closing the doors behind them before moving to take his place once more in one of the fine leather chairs. " She is far beyond my comprehension. A few tsks escaped him as he relaxed back to watch the Ante. " Though, Lidos seems to insist on retraining her himself this time. I suppose she may turn out alright in the end. "

He gave a low sigh of annoyance, moving forward to her again. In an instant she was in his arms firmly, his hold tight so she could not escape him this time. He then turned, moving swiftly up the stairs to the presence of his mate.

Aries' eyes flicker slightly with the thought. "I sincerely hope that Tzimisce DOES come back to the clan. Only the few that have remained loyal would be spared, most likely." She said, walking over and seating herself next to the Meth. "And you are correct about any fleabag being untrustworthy. Why would such a clan exist, anyway, that would betray it's own kind...?"

Darren, off in a half-asleep state from where he was sitting in a chair, nearly jumps at the sensation of arms wrapping around him from behind before scenting his mate. He calms down, blinking up at Lidos tiredly. "You're here? I'm not dreaming?"

Sophitia fidgets from foot to foot outside the door, remaining where her father had set her. She was a dog, after all, and dogs only came when called, right?

A laugh escaped him at that, and he shook his head. " I have the feeling he will be back sooner than we could expect, my love. The thought fills me with both fear, and hope.. Perhaps our clan will be brought back from the brink of extinction at his return? " He sighed, shaking his head to clear it of such thoughts.

" As for the dogs. Tch, There is no way to comprehend their minds. "

A smirked passed over him again, and he gave a light n** of his fangs to the other's neck. " Does it feel like a dream, Darren? " He purred out silkily, eyes flicking up to his daughter. A slight tilt of his head invited her to join them in the room.

" Thoughts? No, not so much. We've never really talked on it together, so I do not know what she feels. But I can feel her when she begins to feel strong emotions. "

His tail flicked out behind him in thought, before he gave the slightly up-turn of his lips into a smile. " I could introduce you to my father later, perhaps? Provided he manages to pry himself away from Dad, who he's been missing far too much recently. "

" it's like mind reading, that is cool." she smirks at him then opens her notebook to write it down her sister was not part of another clan the tremere once the both of the had became vampires they lost that part of them

" I would love to talk with him, is your other dad a elder too?" she never gave much thought now she was inrested in finding out everything

Aries' eyes flick over the articles in the paper, locking on it as well. "So, you think that by closing off the building to outsiders, as the paper says we have done, that it will attract his attention and get him focused on seeking us out then? Or perhaps one of the two of us should go out and seek him ourselves, if worse comes to worse..." She said, eyes half-closing in thought, tail flicking the slightest bit.

Sophitia wrinkles her face up again. "Then perhaps I should take the basement then. The display is disgusting to my eyes." She mumbles, knowing full well both parents could hear her, but not wanting to spend another room with such a display going on. She, of course, having never 'fallen' for anyone, did not see what the big deal was with settling down and starting a family of her own.

Darren raises a hand and gently puts it on one of Lidos' arms. "I may have done my best to raise her, but mortal emotions like love and affection disgust her, I'm afraid." He says, a hint of sadness in his voice.
