I only have one pair of shoes at a time. I enjoy wearing large basketball shoes! STOMP STOMP!!!! twisted (yes, I'm a bit insane)
The only problem is that when skateboarding, the shoes don't give my feet much flexibility, so it's probably better to go with something else...

yea when i was younger my mom couldn't afford me skate shoes so i had to wear 80s FILA (yea i'm old skool like that) impossible to do any flip tricks.

Yeah, then I upgraded to Vans, then I got some Etinies... which nearly fell off my foot...
And even though they were mostly black I didn't like them 'cause they had pink.

So now I have my wonderful Audios. *hugs*

It's not an issue or anything, I just prefer basketball shoes, cause I like big shoes.
But when I'm going down a steep hill really fast, it's hard to make turns and stuff, and then sometimes the tip of my shoe will skim the ground, and mess up the shoe...
Which is why I don't usually wear basketball shoes anymore...
But I miss them. cry

Eh, I asked my mom to get me some skateboarding shoes and she's like "ewwww you mean those fat ugly shoes?"
me: "yes, those fat ugly shoes"
She don't like them =l
Then I describe how they make it easier to skate and she says that that's, quote, "BS."
I'm stuck with my converse in the meantime. It's not working out too well. sweatdrop
It's almost worse than skating with socks...my converse rip up so bad.

I skate dc, converse, and nike, although I do like my vans but I destroyed them when I tried to run across hot pavement, it was just being laid down. I couldn't resist!! Plus I burn holes through the bottoms of my shoes from skating with a pair for too long biggrin Skating barefoot hurts like a mother... don't do it...trust me.
