agh i just got a skateboard and my ollies arent working out...how long did it take you guys to perfect the ollie?
i cant even do the basics *sigh* im pathetic

when i was 11 it took me 9 months since i kept quitting so often but just wanted to finally get the hang of it. Sadly i'm still a slow learner when it come to trying new tricks

think it was 6 months for me before it clicked, but a lot of people do tend to get the hang of it quicker though from what i have seen. once you get the hang of it, you'll constantly get better at it until it gets to the point where most of the time it's effortless.

i skateboard but i learned the hard way the other day i crashed into the wall skateboarding in the house dont try that it hurt really bad

i manualed from my room into the toilet when we first moved in and needed to get some carpets! lol

I was able to do an ollie within the first couple of hours, but I stopped skating for a month and now...I cant lol. it takes a bit to restart what you've learned.

I could ollie like after 3 weeks..but I perfected it in like two months! now i can almost kickflip after 4 months of skating

wow thats a range of time >_< I keep practicing, only I can't go outside cuz everything is frozen over. I have to skateboard in the basement on the concrete...
the board always slips out from under me when I try to ollie
then I land on the concrete...splat. x_x
