O_O I know why the sky is blue.
It's because the light that the sun gives off is made of many different colors. The ozone layer filters most of the colors except blue. That's why the sky is blue. By the same scientific property, it's what also causes the Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights. What they actually are, are partial holes in the ozone layer which lets more of the colored light through, which makes the pretty colors.
