"I’m certainly learning a thing or two about that…," Sebastian remarked. It was rather amazing how she could take pictures, talk and battle all at once. Talk about a multi-tasker extraordinaire. His gaze narrowed just a bit as Vivillon got a tackle on Kaiser, the Mareep mewling and huffing in agitation.
"Lavender Town, actually. My family does work there." He replied to her question, straightening up a bit and smiling. While he didn’t want to cut the conversation short, it was about time he let Kaiser finish this battle. The butterfly looking pokemon had already been paralyzed from its tackle, and it was about time to put it out of its misery. "Alright Kaiser, finish it off with a Tackle!" He called, the Mareep mewling before slamming his fluffy little body into Vivillon with as much force as he could muster.

"Oh, Lavender Town?" Viola reiterated, clicking a few more pictures, pausing, then grabbing a couple more, "Do you or family work with Mr. Fuji? Or the Tower?" She took two more pictures as the mareep finished her pokemon up, and straightened. "Good job, Vivillion, you did good," she praised, returning her pokemon. She closed her camera up, making sure it was safely strapped around her neck, and putting her pokeball away, before stepping forward. "That was a good battle! Congratulations!" she remarked, pulling a badge and a TM out, and offering them to Sebastian. "Your pokemon looked pretty strong, so here, you've earned these," she added, "The Bug Badge from my Gym, and a personal favorite move of mine, Infestation. I didn't get to use it here, but for long term battles, it's almost as good as a burn as far as damage goes."

Sebastian couldn’t help but smile as he gave a confirming nod. "We do work in the Tower actually. Well, they do anyways. Since I’m out here and all." He gave a little wave of his hand, eyes staying focused on the battle. "Mr. Fuji is a good man, it’s good to hear he’s known." He remarked with an approving tone. There probably wasn’t a more influential man in the town then Mr. Fuji; he probably owed a thing or two to that man in all honesty.
As the battle finished up he grinned, Kaiser mewling happily and shuffling over to his trainer’s side. He gave a bow to Viola, taking the badge and TM happily. "Thank you very much!" He remarked with a grin, glancing at the two items gratefully. Sebastian felt he was getting the hang of this. Of course, he’d need to expand his team a bit.
He returned Kaiser to his ball, giving Viola another little bow and a wave. "Take care, Viola. And thank you again for the battle!" Sebastian said in farewell before heading out the doors and making for the pokemon center to heal his team up.

A quick trip to the Pokemon center, a celebratory snackage amongst his pokemon –except once again, Butterfree-, a studious examination of his map to assure he went the right way and Sebastian was off. He wanted to get a few more pokemon and see a few more places before worrying about his next gym battle; should he stay in Kalos for that or go back to Johto? Bugsy was the next one there, if he recalled and if his little scuffle with Viola had taught him anything, it was that he could stand to be a little more prepared. It wouldn’t hurt to toughen up the pokemon he had first, right? Of course, he had no idea who the second gym leader was in Kalos. He’d have to find that out.
For now though he headed straight for the exit from Santalune City back to South Luminose, the way he’d come the day before.

Unfortunately he wasn’t here to sight see however, his goal was the Santalune Gym and it’s leader Viola. Iwaizumi had mentioned that she was a bug type trainer, he wondered just how strong she was, it was the first gym in Kalos so much like Bugsy said about Falkner she was here so people could get their bearings for battle. He chuckled to himself as he thought about fighting this battle completely with Saeko, if she could defeat Bugsy she could probably thrash Viola. Viola was discussing something with one of her assistants, but lifted her head and looked over when she heard a challenge approach. She smiled questioningly at the honorific he used, but turned to face him. "Yup! My pokemon are healed and I've got a full roll of film!" she reassured him, giving a wink as she held up the camera. Of course, her camera was trained solely on the pokemon, snapping pictures as Toru's Scizor launched it's attack, the gym leader grinning ear to ear at the shots she was getting of the battle. Even if she was the first gym leader, the one that often took a lot of hard loses, she always enjoyed getting the chance to photograph so many incredible pokemon. And the pictures she got from them! That kind of attitude reminded her a lot of some of the models and movie stars she'd encountered before... Viola smiled to Toru's apology, but kept her focus on the battle, for the time being. She grinned as the pokemon performed its finishing move, snapping photos till the very end, and then straightening up. "You certainly now how to put on a show!" she remarked, recalling her last pokemon, "Have you ever considered contests?" The guy certainly seemed to have the flare for that sort of thing. She put her pokeball away and let her camera rest against her chest, striding out to meet him, and shaking his hand in return. "Bugsy, eh? I bet his pokemon gave you more of a challenge than mine. Still, I'm glad to see that even if you're out beating us bug users, you're at least using some of your own," she said, giving a nod towards Saeko's pokeball. She drew back, producing the badge and a TM. "Well, here you go! You've certainly earned these-- the Bug Badge, and TM Infestation. It really puts the power of bugs to work to chip away at your opponents health, without taking up the spot of inflicting any statuses."
