Ashley gave a nod pleased that she was accepting of him escorting her. He adjusted his case once more and started to move, falling in step at a slow pace as they continued to converse. "Mm… possibly." He responded, his tone thoughtful. He would’ve honestly answered no but then again, his sister had asked him to consider the option and so he found himself thinking on it again. Shinri looked away from Moyasu and back at his PokeDex. He had seen her battle and loved the fire in her eyes when she attacked, but alpha-beta personalities were difficult. There was only two ways to make them see their place; beat it into them or make them think they have no place at all. Both were cruel, yes, but at least the psychological training didn't involve drawing blood where it wasn't necessary. Shinri had never really liked the idea of the other method. In time, Moyasu would bring herself to settle into her position as the team's beta; all he had to do was be patient until then. He could bring himself to be patient for something like this."Dour!"Shinri looked up when Sora and the others ran up to him, hiding behind him. Heiya and Gin both curled up with each other as Sora kind of hovered over them protectively. The dark-haired trainer frowned before he stood and put his PokeDex away. Poachers. He didn't need to know how to speak Houndour or Houndoom to know what the canine was saying."Let's go."Shinri picked Heiya up and let Gin and Moyasu slip into his bag before he hurried from their spot, Sora following dutifully. Elizabeth started walking alongside Ashe as he told her that he possibly would challenge the gym. Is he traveling around for a different reason then, if he isn't going to do the gyms? She understood when he said that he was still uncertain what he will be doing for his journey, probably finding himself. Then he was asking if she has any experience in being a coordinator, nodding back. "Ah, alright. It's good to find yourself and figure out what you want to do. Yes, I have had some experience with it. I did a couple of contests while I was in Johto and had done pretty well in them. It's a lot of fun and is different from being a trainer, more focused on the beauty of the pokemon and their moves as opposed to their strength unless you're doing the Tough Contests. If you ever want to give Contests a try, I can help you with that if you would like." Elizabeth had said back to Ashe as she smiled and continued walking with him. He definitely wouldn't be out of place competing in a Contest Hall since he dresses so formally and speaks French. While it would be really great to meet and hang out with other coordinators in Kalos, she has to get stronger and be prepared for whenever her father or Team Void shows up.

Shinri would usually be all over the chance to take out a poacher or two, but he had promised not to get involved unless he absolutely had to. It was the only way his mother and father would let him leave the village. He didn't have his brothers to back him up in a fight anymore with their Illusion, so his options were limited. Charging in head on would be a suicide attempt. He stepped out onto the path and looked around, but found the only others around were trainers - two of which he recognized from Aquacorde and Vaniville. That would have been the end of his attempt to keep away from the poachers since, unlike smugglers and those teams or whatever, poachers tended to avoid sight entirely. But, of course, nothing could go as planned."Big brother!!"Shinri froze, his head turning as his eyes turned black with the intent to kill. He knew that particular Zorua call. Kaien? What was Kaien doing so far from Pokemon Village? Shinri let out a feral growl before looking around for a place to hide his team. He wouldn't dare risk getting their Pokeballs damaged while they were inside them. In the end, he pushed them all into some bushes and told them very firmly to stay put before he darted back towards where he was before. He was going to skin Kaien alive for following him. Well, not literally, but he would get a serious scolding.

Ashley nodded as Elizabeth agreed with him on the importance of finding oneself, pleased to hear such. If anything, it meant there was nothing particularly suspicious to his uncertainty. He listened quietly as she explained her experiences as a coordinator, eyebrow quirking curiously.
"I see," he commented. "It sounds most exciting. I have only ever watched zee contests." He smiled a bit. "I have a sister who is interested in zee fashion designs… it sounds like a wonderful way to help her as well." Ashley mused. Dandy would certainly love the chance to make costumes for such a thing, he imagined. When Elizabeth offered her assistance if he ever happened to take part, he gave a little bit of a bow. "Merci, I appreciate zee offer. I will certainly consider it if I ever find myself in such a position to attempt one." He politely thanked. It was probably not something he was going to try, if ever –shoot, gym battles where still an uncertainty- but he found very kind of her to offer.

Elizabeth listened as Ashe was telling her that he has only ever watched the contests and how his sister is interested in the fashion designs. That is cool, of course considering how nice he dresses that he has a sister interested in fashion design. She smiled when he told her that he appreciated the offer and would consider it if he ever gets the chance to attempt a contest. Then she heard as he asked if she became a trainer for a change of pace, thinking about how to answer that question. Elizabeth was quite surprised, giggling as Ashe was asking if she is interested in attempting the tough contests as a result. "Even though I like the Cute and Beauty type Contests more, in order to be a Champion Coordinator where you're the absolute best of the best, you have to get all the Title Ribbons for each type of Contest for that region. So naturally I have to do the Tough Contests along with the other types too. I figured that when I decided that I wanted to come here that I would do something different as well like being a trainer, so it's a change of pace. It also never hurts to be prepared and getting stronger in case I ever encounter any bad people either." she then said back to him as she smiled and continued walking, knowing that technically it was a half truth. The part about being prepared and getting stronger with encountering bad people was the main reason why, not mentioning though that the bad people are her father and Team Void. There is no way she could not try to get stronger for if and when that day comes, and being a trainer would allow her to do that.

"Hm," Ashley murmured, gaze focused along the path as they walked. "Well that certainly makes a lot of sense." He remarked as she explained. It made sense that in order to be the best of the best, you had to prove yourself in all facets of your trade. He smirked a little at the thought, though quickly it faded back to a smile.
Briefly Ashley looked at Elizabeth with a concerned look as she mentioned being strong to face off encounters with bad people. While such things weren’t uncommon –he knew that well enough- it was always just a tad bit concerning to hear someone bring it up. Teams were rampant and problematic, for trainer and civilians both. Even Interpol had their own issues, though those were few and far between. Usually. "That is very wise of you. It is smart to be prepared for such confrontations.]" His gaze narrowed a little. "You have not had any issues with these teams plaguing the regions, have you?" Ashley inquired. "I have heard they can be very problematic. A new trainer such as yourself should be ah... careful as they say." as incompetent as they sometimes seemed, they were still dangerous after all. Elizabeth agreed as she heard Ashe tell her that it makes sense to do all that in order to be the best. She smiled when he told her that she is wise and smart for wanting to be prepared for those confrontations. But she was a bit surprised and nervous as he then asked her if she has had any issues with these teams at all and how she should be careful. What should she say to that and if she would want to even mention it? As far as she knows, she is the only person who knows of Team Void and their existence, her father being one of them. It wouldn't be a good idea to get Ashe involved in her mess and risk him being targeted by them either. "Thank you, I am glad to hear that. No, I have not had any issues with them really. Luckily I never encountered Team Rocket at all while I was in Johto, but I've heard all the stories so I plan to be very careful. Thank you for the concern." Elizabeth had said back to him as they walked, smiling and glad that he is so worried for her. She did tell him the truth with how she hasn't any issues with the teams, at least not yet. Ashley watched Elizabeth curiously as she gave her answer, expression ambiguous as he noted the hints of nervousness and concern that seemed to preclude her words. He was slightly inclined to believe that there was something she wasn’t quite telling him, though opted not to pry. That was rude after all and she was answering his questions.
"Well I am pleased to hear that. Let us hope it remains that way." He replied as she confirmed that she’d at least never had a run in with Team Rocket in Johto. It’d almost slipped his mind that they menaced both Kanto and Johto; what big problems. He was quiet for a moment as he walked, thinking a bit on the teams situation; it would do him good to inquire about them while he was out and about. Eventually though he straightened up again to resume conversation.
"You said you had performed in zee contests already, no? Then would it be safe to assume you already have a few of zee pokemon?" He inquired once more, glancing back to make sure Bastien was still in tow. The Fennekin had fallen rather quiet, but that just seemed due to his interest in their surroundings once more as opposed to ther conversation going on. Which was fine with his trainer, so long as he didn't go wandering off.

Elizabeth was nodding back to Ashe in agreement as he commented that he hoped it stays that way regarding not running into Team Rocket. Then she listened as he asked if she already had a few pokemon since she had performed in contests already, thinking. "Yes, I have a lot of pokemon that I brought over from when I was in Johto. Besides doing contests and challenging the gyms, there were some interesting events that happened as well so I have quite a variety. Do you also have any other pokemon besides Fennekin?" Elizabeth had then said back to him as she smiled happily and was curious. He does seem like he would have some other pokemon, even though he isn't quite sure of the path he wants to take yet. Maybe the two of them could even have their pokemon hang out together while she teaches him a bit about contests.

"Oh? Events you say? That is quite interesting." Ashley mused. When she inquired if he had any pokemon of his own, he paused to consider. "Oui. I have several of my own, though they are more… how you say? Companions then fighters." He smiled a little in her direction. "Those I suppose they will learn in time, no?" A moment so more of thinking and he actually raised his wrist again, flicking it out so the face was up and out.
"Venez ici." He remarked, watching as the device lit up, blinking a bit before finally the black and green colored Porygon2 materialized. Ashley gave a little nod, dropping his arm back to his side as he hovered next to him. "This is Octave. Say hello, Octave."
The Porygon2 flickered a moment, head twitching from looking at his trainer before his attention directed to Elizabeth and gave a sort of bowing motion in her direction. "A pleasure to meet you miss." Came the semi-robotic tone. "Octave assists me in my work. He is I would say, zee closest of my companions."

Shinri would never say he enjoyed hunting down poachers. He didn't ever regret it, of course, but he certainly didn't enjoy it. Every hunt was a sore reminder of why Pokemon Village existed in the first place. Moving through the interlocked branches of the forest, Shinri soon came across Kaien and the poacher. Kaien was pressed against a tree, clearly unable to escape as the poacher got ready to put an end to the little hunt he had.b*****d!Shinri jumped down from the tree he was in and landed on top of of the armed man. His gun went off, thankfully just missing Kaien and Shinri's ears hurt from the sound of the gun. Regardless, he didn't allow himself the time to recover before he took care of the poacher; one swift movement of the man's neck left him limp and lifeless. Again, Shinri didn't pride himself with the result of this particular hunt, but he didn't feel any remorse."Big brother! You came for me!"Shinri picked Kaien up roughly by the nape of his neck (a not-so-subtle sign that said they'd have words later) and held him as he turned and swiftly left the scene; he didn't want to be around in case someone heard the gun go off and decided to check it out. The last thing he wanted to do was have some kind of spotlight, good or bad, on him.

The Zorua looked terrified; and, rightly so. Shinri was not one that skipped out on punishments. Sure, he wasn't the kind to physically punish, but that didn't mean his scoldings were light. Her ears lowered, but she refused to submit to a gaze that wasn't meant for her. Still, it was incredibly feral and intimidating. His status as an alpha was undeniable. Unfortunately. Her attention turned to a Pansage as he pushed through a bush and onto the path, her tail wagging slightly as she went to play with it.

Elizabeth was glad to hear that Ashe also had some pokemon of his own, more companions than fighters really. "That's good. I am close with all my pokemon too and I would do anything for them." she said back to him with a smile, thinking of all her pokemon that she has. But she was also thinking about the best friend who her father took away from her, that being the reason why she has to stop Team Void. Then Elizabeth heard him say something in French, wondering what he had said while noticing his device lit up. She was surprised as a pokemon had materialized, one that she had never seen before and with such unique colors too. She heard as Ashe introduced the pokemon as Octave, shocked when it actually spoke to her. Wow, that pokemon can speak?! "It's nice to meet you too, Octave." Elizabeth had said back to the pokemon, bowing and smiling before looking over at Ashe. "Really? That is so cool, I've never seen this kind of pokemon before, especially with those colors. What do you do for work?" she said back to him, curious as to what he does. Maybe he is more of a scientist if a pokemon like that assists him, and so that's why he isn't sure if he wants to be a trainer since he's not used to battling and such. Either way, it is so great that he has a pokemon that he is really close to and also helps with his work as well. Elizabeth was thinking about her best friend again, how super close they had been and how they probably could have swept through the Contests together if it weren't for her father.
