It's nice to meet you too, Rose," she'd replied, happy herself that she was running into such pleasant people. First Giovanni, then Rose and Isis...it seemed like it would be pretty easy to make friends on her journey. At first it looked like the red haired girl was going to pass her over for a hug when almost everyone else got one, but she did finally come back over and give Cerbera one. "You can count on it," she said, hugging the older girl back and then waving to her as she left. Her attention then turned towards Isis, taking the card. "Oh, the wait's no problem. I am definitely excited though. Thank you so much," she replied, "I'll text you later on tonight." She wondered for a moment or two who the Alice that was mentioned was, but it wasn't a big deal. The girl did wave to the younger girl who seemed to be tagging along with the others, but it didn't seem like Du was up for introductions, so she just headed back to her table with Lua and Feng. As they sat back down she remarked, "It's always interesting, meeting new people.."[- -]Lua didn't look quite as pleased as Berrie was, rather she looked pretty uncomfortable. Apparently, being around so many psychic type pokemon was unsettling to her. As she climbed into the booth, the little ginger remained quiet, not saying anything about the interaction. Maybe if they spent more time with Rose and Isis, as well as the others, Lua might open up a bit...but for now she'd rather just stick close to Cerbera.[-

Du giggled a bit as Rose came over and gave her a hug and Du was more than happy to return the hug for her new friend. If there was one thing that Du secretly liked doing it was giving and receiving hugs. ”Have fun and be safe Rose, and when you’re ready to start dabbling in contests, don’t be afraid to give me a call and I’ll do what I can to help you out, okay?” Having already given her new friend her contact information there was little more for Du to do other than wave at her as she took off on her adventure. Du gave a bright smile when Rose mentioned that she was going to go and try another region for her new adventures with flying. Du couldn’t support that enough, she certainly planned to visit as many regions as possible herself and maybe go back home to Kanto and see some old friends at some point. She would definitely need some Ribbons though before she could do that, after all, her Pokemon weren’t going to respect her if she didn’t have any of those, and that could end rather… disastrously for her in the end. But that was neither here nor there right now, Isis had gotten a room for them and it was time to go shopping! By the looks of it, it was just going to be her and Isis going on this little excursion as Zero seemed to be too tired to come with them. If he decided to come then that was going to be perfectly fine with her after all… she suspected that they were going to need some help carrying all the bags that they were going to get.
Du linked arms with Isis and pulled herself closer to her big sister figure and – now- personal shopping buddy and makeover assistant. Today was really kind of a day to celebrate and now that Isis and Du seemed to be alone for this little adventure, she was sure that Isis was going to gush about Du getting started on her hormones. There were going to be some big changes happening to her body, but she was going to enjoy every minute of it, she was sure. The only thing that she wasn’t looking forwards to was trying to tell her mom about this. Then again, when Du came home with boobs she was sure that this was going to be the icebreaker that would make bringing up the conversation a lot less tricky. Du looked up at Isis with a mischievous little gleam in her eye. ”So where are we going first, Clothes for me or naughty things for you to show Leon later?” Maybe Du had better be careful... after all this was a shopping trip that was probably going to be more for her than Isis, and Isis would and could get a little revenge on her own considering the fashion choices that could be made.

✿ ❀Isis gave a bit of a sheepish grin as Zero insisted that he'd rather be stuck with her than anyone else. What could she say? It was cute, but she needed to... Not focus on that, lest it get her into trouble, so she focused on Cerbera and her Ho-Oh instead, admiring and taking a picture of the rainbow colored bird. She offered her buisness card when Cerbera offered to trade information, promising to get the picture out to her tonight, provided that the younger girl text her first so she could add her contact information to her Xtransceiver. She was glad to hear that Cerbera didn't mind the wait and thanked her for the picture and information. "Not a problem~ I'll talk to you tonight then." Isis smiled, waving goodbye as the interesting girl moved back to her table. The subject then turned to their plans for the night. Isis and Du seemed to be sharing a room at the center, Zero staying for the night as well, though Rose was planning on doing a bit more traveling for the time being. The redheaded girl said her goodbyes to the group, and Isis suggested that she and Du had more shopping to do. "Mhm~" Isis replied with a hum as Zero asked, or more commented on the fact that they were getting that taken care of right away. "Shopping never sleeps, as they say, or... Something like that." Isis waved her hand dismissively. "You coming, or staying?" She asked curiously, but the silver haired male said he would stay.
Isis nodded in understanding, she didn't expect he would enjoy a shopping trip as much as she and Du would, but the thought of leaving him alone nagged at the back of her mind. "I can watch him." Atona spoke finally in Isis' mind to quell her worries. Would you please? That would be.... A relief. Isis simpered, giving a light sigh. "Leave it to me. Perhaps Raja can stay as well, in case anything like Mt Pyre happens again." Atona offered. Yeah, good idea. Isis agreed, and the mega lucario relayed the plan to the wispard while Dumuzi linked arms with Isis, and together they walked out of the center arm in arm.
Once they were on their way, the questions began rolling in already, Dumuzi asking if they were getting her clothes first or naughty things for Isis an Leon. Isis broke out in an embarrassed blush at the mere suggestion. "C-clothes for you of course! D-don't be silly... This is your special day, and I'm not going to need anything like that for a long time, trust me...." Isis waved the suggestion off with an awkward smile. Goodness, the things that came out of Dumuzi's mouth, considering her age.... Isis wasn't sure how to feel about that. "It's not going to be so easy without our red haired local guide, but I'm thinking.... That store maybe....?" Isis pointed to a department store-esque looking building that seemed to be the kind of place that would have nice clothes on every floor. "So you wanted to get some things for your every day wardrobe, but do you maybe want to look for fabrics and design ideas for when you make your contest outfits?" Isis asked as they neared the building and walked inside. "I mean, I know you wanted to make those outfits yourself, but do you have the supplies? Maybe there's a fabric store around here? Or maybe we can look for accessories, like... A parasol for your beauty contest outfit, or some boxing gloves for your tough outfit! I don't really know what you have in mind, but... Oh, the possibilities!" Isis giggled, clearly very excited for the shopping trip ahead of them. She was going to have a blast with Du as her little mannequin.
Meanwhile, Atona glanced to Zero. "Perhaps you should head to your room and get some rest. It's been a long day, and I doubt the girls will be back anytime soon." Atona suggested. "You do feel rather exhausted." Raja chimed in quietly, not really realizing that saying with such certainty that someone felt a certain way was unusual, but she did know, since she'd imprinted on Zero the moment she was instructed to keep watch. She wasn't projecting her emotions or thoughts on him, but she could feel his. She wasn't trying to invade his space, but by imprinting on him, it would be a lot easier to pick up on more subtle anomalies. ✿ ❀

Zero nodded at Isis' confirmation, having already figured they wouldn't waste anymore time to have a proper fun time. "No, you girls can go have fun, I'll just stay here and try to rest a bit." He glanced over at his Gardevoir, trying to wrestle his gaze from the loose strands of hair that lightly bobbed with each breath she took. "Perhaps Nova could go with you, though? I think she'd enjoy joining your shopping trip."
He smiled lightly at Nova, who didn't exactly feel that comfortable leaving Zero alone. "No no, it's fine, I don't-Don't worry, I'll be fine. The trainer reassured her, the Gardevoir's expression still shifting to worry as the conversation was kept to themselves. Go on. You deserve some time off from me. He smiled weakly, and all she could bring herself to respond with was a sigh. She turned to Isis and Du after this, her expression softening back to normal as she picked up on what Atona had proposed to do. "If you don't mind me tagging along~" A few moments later, and the astral pokemon followed the two trainers out the Pokemon Center, leaving Zero with only Atona and Raja for company.
Zero let out a long sigh as they left, lifting himself up off the counter he hadn't realized he'd been leaning on. Fatigue instantly hit his body, telling him to stop moving and to sit down. He stood however, though the drain on his body was quite evident. He nodded to Atona as he mentioned heading to his room, but couldn't help but chuckle a bit as Raja spoke of what Zero was feeling. "Heh, am I that obvious? Come on, I'm not sure how long my legs will be willing to keep me standing." He joked, of course, but there was enough sincerity thanks to how his body was doing at the moment.
Nova may have healed him several times, but where the wounds healed, that still left his mental state and energy to deteriorate. The Gardevoir could only do so much to repair that, but Zero appreciated it regardless. With the two pokemon of Isis' in tow, he made his way through the center and towards the room he'd rented, ushering the two in before finally closing the door behind him. The room was, of course, standard fare for a Pokemon Center, but with just a bit of a Kalosian touch. He made his way towards the bed, where he finally had a chance to sit down, before he spread out with his back now cushioned by the mattress. The relief he felt as he finally could rest wasn't easily describable, but it was something he needed none the less. After a few moments, he finally sat back up, before his gaze turned to Raja. "By the way, Raja, a Flurry and its evolutions are born from the spirits of other pokemon or people, right? If you don't mind me asking, do you know who you were before?"

"Oh?" she said to herself as she read the message over, "No....it couldn't be...could it? It sounds like we're both talking about the same person....and it sounds like there's a history there." Du let a sly smile spread across her face as Isis fumbled for her words when she was responding to that comment about getting something a little more risqué. Du giggled and pulled herself more into Isis’ person and looked up at her with a teasing grin. ”You look so cute when you’re flustered! But regarding our lack of guide… I’m not all that worried, I’m sure that looking around to find our stores will be part of the adventure and we may even have a lot of fun with it!” Du was just happy to get some girl time with someone else without being interrupted by worlds splitting apart or old women teleporting her to haunted locations. No, now it was time for Dumuzi to have a good, relaxing time for at least a while before she tackled those contests and set herself up for some ribbons. Admittedly, she was kind of nervous about the whole thing, but she knew that she had lots of support from Isis and her friends. She would fail, she would learn and she would try again. With something being so new to her she knew that she wasn’t going to be perfect on her first go –even as studied up as she was with the subject- and this was all about having fun. She really didn’t feel the need to pressure herself and this could be a good opportunity to learn a little more about herself. When Isis asked about getting things for Du’s contest wardrobe, Du had to think for a moment, she raised her finger to the side of her lips and tilted her head to the side in thought. ”Well, I do have enough fabrics and what not for my Beauty contest costume… and I think I’m going to focus on that until its completion or until I get stuck on a tier that I just can’t get past. So I think I’m good for costume things for a while. But we can keep our eyes open and see if there is anything that jumps out at us.” That seemed like a good compromise to Du, really, she was much more interested in getting a new wardrobe for the new her than she was looking for contest things right now. Though if she did see something there was no harm in picking it up.
It was about then that Nova caught up with them and Du offered a warm smile. ”A wild Nova appears! Glade you decided to come along with us.” The more the merrier and it was doubly cool that Nova was a fairy type as well. Who didn`t love being surrounded by fairy types? ”Are you looking for something to wear too, Miss Nova, or are you just getting in some quality girl time while you’re around us?” Du was amused at the idea of a pokemon perhaps taking some level of interest in the fashion of the human race. It looked like Isis just got another doll to play dress up with! When they finally reached the store, Du was greeted to an ocean of various fashions and designs – then immediately felt like a fish out of water. Wait… what WAS Du’s fashion style like? Was she a sweet, girly girl type or was she a little bit of a punk or rebel type? There were so many things that she wanted to try but she really didn’t know where to start. Du looked over at Isis and Nova with a bit of a hopeless, but amused smile on her face. ”A-any suggestions on what style we should try first?” With Isis being a photographer, she would probably know a lot better than Du what sort of style was in right now and what Du might look best in, with Nova here, she could be a fresh set of eyes to see if the style really matched Du’s personality. Dumuzi really didn’t know how much Nova knew about her, but seeing as she was a psychic type pokemon as well, Du assumed that she knew what was going on and why they were here. Hopefully, Nova would get into the spirit of things too and maybe find something for Du to wear as well. The thought made Du’s face light up a touch more.

✿ ❀Isis nodded lightly in understanding as Zero decided not to tag along. He seemed tired, and not to mention clothes shopping for girls wasn't really his thing, but he offered Nova up for the task instead. "Sure! She can tag along~" Isis agreed, though Nova seemed reluctant, understandably so given Zero's condition, but he managed to convince her anyways. Nova's concerns were shared with Isis however, so she mentally bid that Atona and Raja stay behind with the silver haired trainer as a trade of sorts. After that, Isis and Du left the center arm in arm, Dumuzi wasting no time in teasing Isis about buying risqué clothes for her, commenting how cute she looked when flustered. "Hey now, flirting is not allowed, I'm taken~" Isis teased back with a laugh, mentioning that finding a shop would be slightly more difficult now that they didn't have their guide, but Du took it as a fun challenge, and a more exciting adventure through the city. "Heh~ Yeah I suppose that's a better way to look at it. Here we go!~" Isis giggled, though she had to ask if Du was strictly looking for wardrobe clothes or if she wanted to take a glance at some materials for her contest costumes too. Du insisted she had enough for her beauty contest outfit, and she wanted to focus on that one before moving on to something else, a good strategy, but she wasn't going to turn a blind eye to the possibility that she might find a good accessory or fabric for another outfit. "Fair enough!" Isis nodded, willing to accept this answer. Isis giggled a bit when Du commented on Nova's additional appearance to their little shopping group, questioning if she was looking for something to wear as well. "Yeah, that's a good question actually, is that dress a part of you? Can you wear something else?" Isis inquired curiously.
As they walked into the building Isis had suggested, it looked like her guess was right on the money. Clothes were lined up as far as the eye could see, Du didn't even know where to begin, asking Isis and Nova's opinion on what style to try first. "Oh goodness, that's a good question...." Isis hummed, skipping through the isles. Eventually, she closed her eyes, and spun around before stopping and pointing at a cute pink dress with black lace accents. "Pink and lacy it is!~" Isis sang, picking out a size that fit Du and handing it over, but she knew better to send her to the dressing room with just one outfit. Isis was soon piling her in cute sundresses, jeans, leggings, halter tops, leather, and more, that way they could go into the dressing room for a fashion show, and when Isis was waiting for her friend to get dressed in one of the many outfits she had picked out, Isis got a text from an unknown number, which she guessed was Cerbera.

Sending the message, Isis happil reclined in her seat in the waiting area. "Almost finished Du?" She called out, eager to see her friend all dolled up in new cute duds.
Meanwhile, Atona moved over to Zero as he struggled to not slump over in exhaustion. "Careful now, come on... Let's get you to your room. Isis is going to kill me if you have another heart attack from over exertion under my watch." Atona murmured, lending an arm to the silver haired trainer. Even Raja had to comment on how Zero felt exhausted. Imprinting on Zero was sapping her own strength just from empathy. Zero asked in a joking tone if he was that obvious, but given that he was with two highly empathetic pokemon, it was the answer, that should have been obvious. They moved Zero carefully into his room, walking inside as they were ushered, Atona remained standing near the window of the room, not keen on taking a seat just yet, but Raja was more than happy to curl up like a purloin on the rug in the center of the room. Zero himself took the bed, and when he lay down, both pokemon felt the relief he did, which was nice, like a weight had finally been lifted off their shoulders.
After a moment of peace and relaxation, Raja's ear flicked when Zero addressed her, asking about her past life before becoming a flurry. "You are correct, however I don't remember my past life, at least not in great detail... I get bits and pieces every now and again, but for the most part it's quite hazy.... Some know who they were, others never remember, some take time to recall... Personally though, I don't really mind not knowing, because I know who I am now, and I'm content with that." Raja explained. "A wise response." Atona chimed in, closing his eyes. Raja gave him a toothy grin, her tail thumping happily on the carpet for a moment, but then she continued to reflect. "But... What I do remember.... I think I was some kind of flying pokemon before. I get these sensations of soaring through the air, and how much I enjoyed it. I also know that when people or pokemon are reborn into flurries, it's because they lived a noble life, or died a noble death, so they have a pure spirit.... Not to sound immodest, but I wonder what I did. I know I did something but...." Raja looked thoughtful, but nothing really came to mind. "I think I had a trainer too... That's why I was sort of drawn to you and Isis. I mean, I knew you were in trouble, and then Isis felt familiar somehow. I think maybe my trainer was like her. Kind at heart, and gave warm hugs and good belly scratches~" Raja purred, rolling onto her back and stretching her paws up high as she reminisced, sounding a bit childish for a moment. "Huh... You know, now that I think about it, that other one... The one who smells like fishes felt familiar too~ I like that smell, but I'm not sure if that's new or old..."✿ ❀

The silver haired trainer chuckled a bit at Atona's concern, taking the arm offered to him. "Please Atona, my body isn't that weak just yet..." He made his way with the Lucario's support all the way to his room, before he separated from the pokemon and letting the two enter the room first, then following soon after. He collapsed onto the bed and relaxed for a few minutes, before he finally sat up again, speaking to Raja. "Heh, I'm glad to hear it it," He laid back onto the bed, staring up at the ceiling in his own thoughts. "I can't help but wonder how I would respond to something like that. Waking up one day, without memory, but knowing I used to be someone else. I wonder how I would deal with that."
He quieted his own brief musings as Raja resumed her reflection, noting what little she remembered. And if a Flurry was born from a pure or noble spirit, that meant they likely died a noble death, leaving the question of how she originally died. Zero did his best to suppress flashes of the ball, of Ebony's death, and everything else that happened that day... with a comfortable level of success. He sat up again, as she compared Isis to her memories of her past trainer, mentioned why she was drawn to Isis and Zero, and even how an odd fellow who smelled like fish, at least odd by his standards. Zero chuckled a bit, before he moved his hand down towards the rug not far from the bed, giving the cold feline a few scratches under the jaw. "Well, regardless of who you were, at least you got a second chance. Hopefully one day you'll remember a little more about who you were, see if we can't reunite you with that old trainer or something." Zero pulled his hand away and sat hunched for a moment, watching the icy leopard for a moment. "...Actually though, that does remind me of something I wanted to ask you. Why'd you show up that day in Lilycove? Why'd you come and eat some of the nightmares I was having before Isis arrived?"
While Zero was left in capable paws(Neither of them had hands), Nova tagged merrily along with Du and Isis on their shopping trip. A smile smile crept across her face as they walked, and she giggled a bit when the dark-haired girl asked if she was looking for anything to get for herself, or if she was simply coming to spend some time with them. Isis even joined in, wondering if the starry dress was actually a physical part of the Gardevoir's body.She blinked a bit at this. "I'm... not sure, actually," she replied, eyes wide a bit as she actually pondered the question, looking down at the dress itself. She never actually bothered trying to remove it from the lower part of her body, she never really felt from it either so she'd just assumed it a vestigial part of her being. Now that she'd actually been posed the question, she wanted to answer definitively, but... she wasn't sure if she really check to see. She scratched her head, before simply shrugging at the two girls. "I don't know, I've never attempted to remove it, not that I'd ever want to." The Mega Gardevoir continued her explanation as they entered the shop, Du seeming to be a little intimidated by just how large a selection they had. "I could wear a top, perhaps, but it'd have to be open in the front so it didn't get in the way of my horns. Not to mention, I don't think anything would come in a small enough size to fit a Gardevoir." The psychic-type giggled and watched as Isis enthusiastically passed through the isles, eventually finding a brand new outfit for Du which she gave an approving clap for. "I think it'll look quite lovely on you Du~"
They walked about a bit more, picking up more outfits for Du to try on before they finally shipped her off to the dressing room, taking a seat on a bench just outside of them, motioning for Isis to join her. She waited for the girl to finish reading her text and sending out a response, before she continued. "I can't really buy anything for myself, and I didn't really see any hats or accessories that would look good on me while we were walking around, but..." Nova paused for a moment, shuffling her feet beneath her dress, as she raised her hand to tug at the scarf around her neck. The beautiful white and blue color that it once held had now faded and darkened, the edges beginning to come loose and several pieces had been torn away. The small, decorative brooch that adorned the front of it and held her Mega Stone was still in relatively good repair, the metal having lost its shine but was otherwise in tact, without a single scratch and small enough that it didn't extend beyond the cloth wrapping and occasionally jab her lower jaw. An old gift from Zero, meant to hold the Mega Stone without sacrificing the scarf she liked wearing before it. "...At some point, I would like to see if there's any way to repair this, if possible."

Du pouted playfully when Isis informed her that she was not to be flirted with because she was taken. ”Oh boo! But hey, what Leon doesn’t know won’t hurt him~!” Du looked at Isis with a sly grin and wiggle of her eyebrows. ”But perhaps this is for the best, I mean… once you get a taste of the exotic –someone like me- everything else is vanilla and boring.” Du was in a good mood after the doctor’s visit, and certainly wasn’t afraid to have a bit of a laugh at herself in the meantime. Du noted what Nova was saying about her size and odd requirements that would have to compensate for the horn that stuck out of her chest. Du tilted her head to the side and hummed a little bit. ”Well, I know a thing or two about sewing and adjustments myself so if you want I could do the alterations for you if you see a top or something that you like. Admittedly I’ve never made anything for a pokemon before, but seeing as I’m going into contests maybe I should get some practice in.” Du would let Nova decide if she would take her up on her offer or not. In the meanwhile, Isis was excitedly gathering clothes for Du to try on and take with her into the change room. Man, Isis was certainly in a frenzy over the outfits and before long Du found it a little hard to see around the mountain of cloth that was in her arms. Du was shooed off towards the changing rooms and made her way there with a slight stager under both the weight and the obscured vision that she had. When she finally made it to the change room she dumped the pile of clothes on the small bench that was inside and closed the door.
Du looked around at all the fashion choices that she had and pondered over her options, admittedly it took Du a little while before she was able to piece together something that she liked right off the bat. Isis’ had given her so many style choices and types that she could be there for a good long while just mixing and matching. Du decided to start with Isis’ first choice of dress and shuffled through the accessories and other bits of clothing that she had brought with her. Du was putting some finishing touches on her first choice when her older sister figure called to her and asked if she was finally ready or not. ”Ah! Almost! You just gave me so many options that it took a while to decide on my first outfit.” there was a bit of fluster in Du’s tone when she answered. She really didn’t mean to keep her friends waiting so long and hoped that they didn’t think that she was being rude for making them wait as long as she probably did. Finally Du emerged from the change room, the hot pink dress with the black lace accents donned her body, the silver heart from the belt showing clearly against the black, quarter short sleeve jacket. With black leggings and a pink band with a bow off to the side, the only thing that Du couldn`t match with the rest of her outfit was her shoes… but that would likely come later. ”How’s this for a first attempt?” Du gave a little spin and a cute pose to top everything off. She had gotten quite a few more idea’s from the pile that Isis gathered for her, perhaps she could wow them with something else later. Du paused and noted that Nova was fussing over her scarf that looked like it had seen better days. Du paused then walked over the scarf and took a close look at it. ”Hmmm….” Du pondered a bit, the scarf was looking pretty worse for wear, it was thread barren in spots and frayed at the ends, with holes from various battles near the ends. ”Well I could give a shot at repairing it, we would need to get some new fabric for the holes and what not, but… well, it won’t be the exact same as when you first got it, but it should help hold together for you a little longer, if you would like me to try.” Du knew that she could really only do so much for the scarf at this point, and it would probably look pretty patch-worked by the end, but she would at least be able to give it a little more strength and some extra years of life.

The conversation shifted to Nova, and whether they should be shopping for her too, though that begged the question if Nova's dress was actually a part of her body, or removable. Nova admitted that she hadn't really thought about it, and was understandably unwilling to try. Though she supposed that she could try to wear an open top, as long as her horns didn't get in the way, and it was small enough to fit her, which she doubted. "You'd be surprised Nova, a lot of Kalosian designers seem to be under the impression that people are actually toothpick sized, no larger." Isis chuckled sadly. It was an increasing problem actually, not that she expected a pokemon to know about it, no offense to Nova. Though, Du suggested that she could make adjustments to something Nova liked, if she saw anything. She seemed excited to practice making clothes for a pokemon for a change.
At long last they entered the department store and started their shopping trip. Isis got right to work, picking out a cute dress for Du to try on. Nova certainly seemed to think it would look good on her, but Isis wasn't nearly finished yet. They continued looking around, Isis picking out other clothes for Du to try on, and suggesting accessories for Nova, but... The mega gardevoir didn't seem very interested in them, since she couldn't buy anything for herself and there wasn't much that she thought would look good on her. She did have her old scarf still though, which she wanted to repair now that it was old, faded, and crumbling away from use. "Wow... I remember that scarf from way back when you were just a cute little starry ralts..." Isis reminisced. Goodness.... How long had it been now? Almost two years? How time flew...
Du was eventually piled high in clothing options and sent to the dressing room to start their little fashion show. As Isis waited on the couch with Nova, she texted Berrie back, and checked in with Dumuzi after a while, asking if she had gotten dressed yet. Dumuzi called back, insisting that she was almost finished, explaining that it was just taking a while since Isis had given her so many options. "Heehee~ Sorry, but you just would look so cute in so many things, I couldn't resist!" Isis grinned. A few moments later, Du finally emerged in the first top Isis had picked out, with a few other accessories and clothing pairings to coordinate a full outfit. Isis gasped as Du came out with a little twirl. "Oh my gosh, you look absolutely darling!~" Isis squeaked, clapping in excitement, but she let Du go and inspect Nova's scarf, since she didn't have the opportunity to do so before, offering to take a shot at repairing it. Isis knew Nova would appreciate the offer, even if Du admitted she probably couldn't repair it perfectly, being able to hold it together for a little longer would certainly help.
Atona chuckled as Zero insisted that his body wasn't as weak as the lucario implied. "I'm not saying it is, but if you don't mind, I'm going to try and prevent you from pushing it to that point." Atona insisted somewhat sternly. Once they were finally able to make it to Zero's room and the silver haired boy was able to lay down on a bed and rest for a moment, Isis' pokemon finally relaxed a little as well, Raja answering Zero's questions about her past self. Zero commented that he wasn't sure how he'd react to being put in a situation similar to hers, but Raja smiled knowingly. "Well, it helped in my case to have a purpose, my task, and knowing what that was, it's easy to focus more on the task than worrying about who I was." Raja explained, elaborating a little bit on the pieces she did remember, which earned her a few scratches on her jaw. Raja chuffed happily, tail swaying as she rubbed her face into his hand. She probably seemed distracted by the gesture, but she was very much aware and listening to Zero as he replied. "When I first woke... I was in Mt. Pyre.... I wondered aimlessly for so long, like a baby, I didn't really know who I was, or what I was doing there. I was so... Lost, but... I made friends with some of the other spirits there, they were drawn to me, though I didn't know why at the time. Then one day, I felt you." Raja looked thoughtful. "I felt your pain, your distress, and... I wanted to help, like I was helping the other spirits there, but after you battled one last trainer, you flew away. I tried to follow you, but it was hard, and hot outside, so I waited until nighttime when it was a bit cooler, and I followed in the direction you flew, until I crossed the ocean and came to Lillycove, and I felt you again. I wanted to help, you were having such a horrible nightmare, so I dispelled it, but... Then Isis came and freaked out because she thought I was slurping up your soul or something. Nova cleared my name thankfully, and... Well, you know the rest." Raja shrugged. "I knew I had to help you, that's the short of it. It's part of my task to cleanse spirits, living and dead."✿ ❀

"Well I don't blame you for thinking I'd do that," Zero replied, chuckling quietly to himself. "...You know, you don't sound as quiet as you did earlier today, Atona." Zero noted, but felt his strength continuing to drain as they walked. They simply kept quiet from that point on, advancing through the hallway as quickly as they could so they could all finally have a chance to sit down and rest. And when it came, they all certainly enjoyed it, the trio of him, Atona, and Raja collectively relaxing as the trainer crashed onto the bed. The pokemon's relief might've had something to do with the link established for him, but none of them particularly seemed to focus on the details. When Zero got his strength back, he turned his attention to Raja, talking about who she once was and how things were when she awoke with no memory, but only a purpose.
Zero decided to ponder this for a bit himself, thinking of how he would be placed in the same scenario in the back of his head, all while Raja explained how things were when she woke up. He stopped his hand for a moment as she explained what she sensed from him, before continuing as the story progressed. His gaze shifted away, but a small smile crept up on his face regardless. "Well, I'm certainly grateful for the help, Raja. For helping both me, and Isis." He pulled his hand away from the leopard's chilled fur, before he sat up straight again. "Though I guess, there was still a bit too much even for you to cleanse," he noted, raising his hand for inspection. He might've been feeling better now, but it was still there; that great darkness that nearly overwhelmed him, the crushing, overpowering weight that he'd been carrying for so long. It was still there, it still clung to his being, and yet, somehow Zero couldn't help but feel lighter. As if something so familiar was pressing against his back, telling of their presence, as they too held up that burdening weight alongside him.
The starry Gardevoir giggled a bit as Isis' evaluation of Kalosian fashion, stating how the designers appeared to believe that women were all toothpick-sized. She smiled at Du as well, appreciating the girl's offer to modify whatever clothing they might've found, though it seemed as if she was more excited at the prospect of making clothes for pokemon. "Oh, well... Fine then~ If you girls can find something you think will look good, I'll be happy to model for your modifications, Du." They all stepped inside and explored the clothing store, Isis dancing about and collecting one thing for the darker-haired girl to try on after another.
Nova herself though didn't seem particularly interested in the myriad of items and accessories that they passed along the way. She simply lacked the sort of fashion sense that Isis or Du seemed to have, which both drove them to pick up all these articles of clothing, as well as knowing just how they'd all fit together. She was just... unsure of things. She lightly tugged on her scarf for a bit until they finally collected all the things for Du, Isis sending her off to the dressing rooms before taking a seat next to the Gardevoir. "Heh, please, yeah, it has been some time huh?" Her pale cheeks were actually a touch red, a little embarrassed at the mention of her previous evolution. It was odd, considering how only two years ago she was just a child, yet it only took two evolutions in quick succession, and here she was, treated as an adult like the rest of them. It didn't exactly feel wrong, but she couldn't help but still feel a bit like that child from only a few years prior.
Eventually though, Du emerged from the dressing rooms, the two bringing their gaze up and away from the worn scarf, and towards the the girl's dazzling new outfit. Nova smiled, clapping her hands lightly for Du as Isis did the same, before the raven-headed girl came over to join in on the inspection of the scarf. Nova's expression saddened a bit at Du's proposal, appreciating the offer but... she was well aware it was likely, almost time to retire the old thing. It served her well through everything, even the ball, she'd like to get it repaired, but... "...Thank you Du, but I don't know. I'd like to get it repaired, but I don't want to start making it more of a collection of patches than anything else." She held the front of the scarf for a moment, thinking to herself as she began to wonder something. She opened her eyes, her expression having come back to normal before she turned her gaze to Isis. "Isis, it was Machina that made your costumes previously, correct? Perhaps we should ask if he can make a new version to replace this one?

Du closed her eyes and leaned back a bit with a playful sigh as she answered Isis’ question about how someone as young as she was could possibly be so flirtatious. ”I have an older brother and went to a public school, you pick up a few things from that whether you like it or not.” Picked up things like a fake personality, like low self-esteem and sometimes even a question of who you really are and what you really like. Du was honestly grateful that she was able to get out of school as soon as she could. She could always go back if she wanted to but right now… she wanted to get as much distance from herself and that little building of misery as fast as she could. Kids were cruel, especially when it came to others who were different and stuck out in their own way like Du did. Oh well, that was behind her now and she was going to be able to put it behind her and move on to a much happier chapter in her life. She had an older sister figure who she adored, she had taken her first steps to try and make herself happy, and she was starting to make some good friends while she was at it. All in all, this was a good experience for her and she was more than happy to leave school behind for now. Du let Isis and Nova converse for a while as she sorted through her thoughts and Isis piled clothes high for her. It really was going to be an interesting shopping trip and that was for sure.
It may have taken Du a while to get something put together for her first showing, but when she came out of the dressing room she was greeted to a very positive reception. The clapping and comments made her blush a bit as she really wasn’t use to this kind of praise. It felt a little strange to be dressed up like this and there was a part of her that felt rather self-conscious about this and wondered if this was really okay for her to do. Nobody seemed to really bat an eye at Du and her friends gathered around and trying on clothes like this. Maybe Du just blended in well enough with the girls that nobody noticed. Then again, this was Kalos so maybe it was just that nobody cared. After Du’s offer of trying to fix Nova’s scarf was gently put down, Du took a moment to look at herself in one of the full length mirrors that were peppered around the store while Isis and Nova seemed to continue their conversation with each other. As she studied herself, Du noted that with a slight touch of make-up, she could pass as a pretty cute girl. Part of her wondered what would happen if some of her old tormentors saw her now – she looked like one of the girls that they would probably try hitting on or impress with their stupidity and mindless chest pounding. The other part of her was more than happy that those type of people weren’t here right now, it could be rather dangerous for her if they were. Du couldn’t help but wonder how things may have been different if she was born a girl? She wondered if her mom would have shown her a little more about contests and opened up a little more about her own experiences with them. She knew that her mom would have loved her the same from previous conversations that they had, but there was still a part of Du that wondered if she would have been happier with a girl instead of a second son. Du lifted her hand and brought it gently to the mirror as if she was reaching out to the girl on the other side so that they could get to know each other and become better acquainted. She gave herself a bit of a exasperated, and somewhat defeated smile… how was she going to tell her mom about this?

✿ ❀Isis didn't quite understand how an older brother or public school made one more perverse... After all, Isis had both of those things and she wasn't nearly as flirty as Du. Maybe she really was just that oblivious.... That and, well it was clear she and Du had different childhood experiences, for better or for worse, so she simply nodded and said nothing more on the matter. Nova was at least open to the idea of getting dressed up by the girls if they found anything that they thought would look good. Isis was certainly more than happy to have another potential dress up doll. Dumuzi was soon piled up with clothes and sent into the changing room while Isis and Nova reminisced to days back when she was just a little ralts. It seemed her old scarf was getting worn for the wear as well. When Dumuzi came back out, her outfit was absolutely fabulous. She had done a good job of coordinating an outfit out of Isis' selections, and offered to try and help Nova with her scarf, but the gardevoir understandably didn't want it to be reduced to patchwork. Isis smiled sadly, patting Nova comfortingly on the back. She knew how much the scarf meant to her, and it was hard when you loved something so much that it started to crumble away from use. It forced the choice between trying to preserve it by not using it anymore, or continue using it and risk losing everything. It was strangely metaphorical. Isis then felt her wrist buzz with a reply from Cerbera, and with a smile, she opened and read it.

Isis giggled, appreciative of her patience. She didn't see much need to respond, and instead moved behind Dumuzi while she was looking over herself in the mirror, admiring the cute outfit she had on. Isis grinned and snapped a picture with her camera. "Hey Du, mind turning around for me? I've got to get a shot of this~ Such an important memory, I must capture it in my camera!" Isis giggled. "Did you know? You already have an admirer. That girl Rose and I were talking to in the pokemon center thought you were pretty cute. She says hi and she's willing to let me share her contact information with you if you want~" Isis teased with a grin. "Oh my gosh~ I gotta take a picture with my Xtransciever too, Leon would want to see this." Isis giggled, opening up the camera on her wrist watch. It wasn't as high quality as her own camera, but it would do for notifying Leon of their shopping trip. Plus she hadn't heard from the lifeguard in a while. She knew he was busy training but... She hoped he wasn't pushing himself and his pokemon too hard. The last thing she needed was to worry about two of her friends training themselves restlessly. At least Leon wasn't on the verge of a chronic depression. Isis pushed the dismal thoughts out of her mind and focused on writing Leon up that text.

Also, I thought you might want to know that I'm with Du, we're shopping and getting some cute clothes~ Look, I'll send you a picture; she's wearing the most darling outfit right now!
After that, it seemed Nova had finished mulling over what to do with her scarf, looking to Isis and asking if Machina was the one that had made her costumes, and wondering if she might ask him to make her a new scarf. "Yeah... You know, after I ruined that zelda costume, I took it back and just wanted to drop it off and leave, but he seemed fine with it, like it was no big deal. I guess he could just make another one but it seems like it would be a difficult and long ordeal. If he blew that dress off like nothing, then I'm sure your scarf could be done in an hour or something ridiculous like that." Isis laughed, wondering how Machina did it.
Atona gave a light huff that sounded suspiciously close to a chuckle as Zero insisted that he didn't blame the lucario for thinking that he'd do something like push himself to another heart attack. The conversation quickly shifted though as Zero mentioned that Atona's voice didn't sound as quiet as it had earlier. "Hm...?" Atona hummed curiously. "I don't believe I'm telepathing any louder than I was before... And if your comparison is back when we were in the distortion world, there was a lot of interference then, so it's a poor comparison." The old lucario mused. They made it to Zero's room and Atona stood idly by as Zero and Raja talked, giving his input every now and then but otherwise remaining quiet, content to just listen. Zero thanked Raja for her help, and the snow leopard nodded, a bit disappointed that she was no longer getting scratched, but it wasn't like she could expect them forever. When Zero commented that there was too much to cleanse however, Raja frowned. "It's not so much a matter of there being too much to cleanse, rather the source and cause. I can exorcise grudges, and cleanse spirits that are heavy and tainted with negative emotions to help lighten the load, so to speak, but I can't change how they feel, or what they've been through." Raja explained with a sad smile. "What you feel right now, you're inflicting on yourself because of the way you see yourself, and your past experiences. There's nothing Raja, Isis, or I can do about it, except support you in the little ways we can." Atona chimed in, watching as Zero inspected his hand. ✿ ❀

shaking his head lightly. "No no, not that. I meant before the distortion world. I think I mentioned it while we were eating at the cafe, but... You sounded quieter, then. Heck, even before then, it sounded like you and any other telepath that I heard in my head was just... quieter, more distant. I'm not quite sure how to describe it." When they got to the room, Zero set himself down onto the bed, where the conversation shifted from being with Atona to Raja. The Lucario chimed in every so often, but for the most part, it was between him and the snow leopard. Raja explained how, while she could ease the burden, she couldn't simply purge whatever the source was of the negativity, something the silver-haired trainer followed well enough.
"I see... That would make sense, I guess." As he raised his hand for inspection, Atona seemed to chime in again, noting how the way he feels right now is because of Zero himself, and how those around him couldn't do anything major about that. He lowered his hand, allowing his eyelids to decend as he layed back down across the bed. "I'm aware of that," he stated plainly. A sad smile adorned his face as he reopened his eyes, staring up at the ceiling. "It's funny, how just a short time ago I actually thought I was using my past as a source of strength..." His fists balled and his expression soured. "And yet here I am, feeling weaker than I ever have before... But somehow, that doesn't seem so frightening as it used anymore." Zero seemed to calm down, mellowing out as he remembered what happened in the Distortion World, faint echos of the voices he heard resonating through his head.
Though saddened by the fact that it was time to retire her old scarf, Nova's expression still brightened as Isis assured her that her trainer's old friend could certainly create a replacement. "Well I'm happy to hear that~" It may not hold all the memories that the current one did, but she'd rather put it away and keep it as a memento, than to walk around looking like she'd picked it out from the trash. What would that say about her and her trainer? That just wouldn't do. Regardless, with that taken care of there was still the matter of Du and her outfits at hand, and the Gardevoir was a bit curious if that pile was all they were going to try. Du was pulled out of her thoughts by a flash of light and she turned with a bit of a surprised look to see Isis with her camera pointed at Du with a big grin on her face. Du blinked, both trying to get those dots out of her eyes and also out of surprise at the action that she certainly wasn’t expecting. Du didn’t answer for a few heartbeats as she took in what happened with an increasingly red face. ”Wh-what’s with the pictures all of a sudden?” Du couldn’t help but ask in a tone that reflected the fluster that she suddenly felt. She certainly hadn’t expected to be a model for Isis in this way. Du gave something of a defeated chuckle and turned around so that Isis could get her picture for the memories. She supposed that it did make sense for a moment such as this to be immortalized with a picture, even if Du tended to be a little camera shy herself on the normal occasions. Granted, being complemented in such a way that Isis did made her almost want to pose for the camera. Oh what the hell, she only lived once and she was going to have to get used to this if she was going to be a Coordinator.
Du turned and posed with as much sweet cuteness as she possibly could so that Isis could capture that for her picture. What harm could this do, I mean, it wasn’t as though she was sending it to anyone, right? When the Xtransciever came out Du once more chuckled. Oh well, she supposed that having Leon know about this wasn’t going to hurt anything. With the pictures concluded, Du slipped back into the change room again to try something else on. With the way that Isis reacted to the outfit, she supposed that this would be on the ‘keep’ list when they went to cash out. ”An admirer? Really? But she only saw me for a few minutes, how can someone get an admirer so quickly?” Du asked through the door as she began to shuffle though the clothes for the next outfit that she could manage. ”I guess I don’t mind but… what’s she like as a person and what sort of things did she seem interested in? Like, was she a coordinator type or a Trainer type?” It was rather awkward for Dumuzi to have an admirer that she hadn’t even met in person yet. Though them say that she thought that she was cute was more than flattering. Fabrics rustled as Du made her change to the next outfit. Admittedly it was one that she had been sort of planning when she had spent so long in the dressing room previously. ”Hey Isis, is this admirer thing something that I’m going to have to get used to when I start Coordinating?” She imagined that all the coordinators had fans to some extent –some far more that others- but Du was just wondering what sort of attention she might be getting in the future. She had heard all the horror stories about obsessed fans that took things too far. It was not a comforting notion.
Du flung the door open with a gentle confidence to show her next outfit off to the others. ”And now for something more mature, what do you think, ladies?” Du came out in time for Nova to ask her question and she gave some pause. ”Hmm… there are some nice fashions here, but we’re also going to need shoes and such. I imagine that we may be going to a couple more shops, if anything to get a little more variety in some clothes?” Du looked over at Isis to see if that was what the girl was thinking. Maybe some pleaded skirts and a more ‘rocker girl’ look would be fun for Dumuzi to wear every now and then. But she could always look for that on her own at some other point in time.
