Trying to decide whether I want to go to the beach tomorrow or not. And whether I want to wear just normal clothes... or do a cosplay shoot for my OC pirate in her new outfit. *sighs*

Part of the indecision is also due to me knowing I have some cleaning I need to do around the house... and need to finish making/putting together stuff for the cosplay I'll be wearing for RCCC.
Like I know taking one day off will be fine. I have two other days I can do that stuff on. But still... my mind is going "But, but!"

Just passing the time since most of my tasks are already completed for the day until I do the movie and popcorn this afternoon.

I need to figure out what book I'll do as my selection for the new book club I joined. I would just default to the Bridgerton book I've been waiting for... but with how long it's taking for my turn to come up, I might not get it before the month's over or whenever we decide to do our first meet up.

Well, that was one disaster quickly remedied. A resident lost his keys and he tends to overreact about things, often being rude and accusatory towards everyone. It turns out another resident had seen them on the ground thinking they were hers until she tried using them in her door. The resident has his keys back and everything's back to being "fine and dandy." sweatdrop

My heart has been doing little happy dances whenever a resident comes up to me wanting to talk about planets and the stars and inquiring about them. I'm having so much fun talking astronomy science with her. xd
Even decided to have a weekend of space-based films to show on the weekends that hopefully she'll come check out and enjoy.

Usually I try to stick to an hour for my playlists... but this one I've created for August vibes will probably just stay at its 3-hour range. Too many good songs that fit the aesthetic I was going for.

Caller: "I looked on the website to try applying for a job but there's nothing coming up for your location." Me: *checks website; indeed no listings are showing* "It does appear we have nothing open at this time. However, if something does become open, it will pop up when searching."
A bit odd we have nothing listed because it always seemed like we were looking for people. But they were doing a bunch of interviews recently, so they probably closed the listings they did have because of that.

I'm also baffled by how people still call about open positions like they're going to apply via inquiry via call... or that they can come in to do paper applications. In this day in age, you would think people would assume it's all done electronically. And anyone who has been searching for jobs knows you shouldn't call the business to inquire about your status as it's not looked upon favorably these days. Especially when you've only applied the day or so before. Like I could see calling to follow up on things if you had been interviewed and the company said they would contact you with the results. But when you've just applied? No. Don't do that. You've got to let them had time to go through applications and determine when they will conduct interviews. rolleyes

Or people who call on the weekend with inquiries about the facility to do a tour or be put on the waitlist. Like yes... we are technically open and have staff on hand. But the business end of our facility is still on standard M-F business day/hour set-up. You're not going to have anything done on a weekend.
Especially annoying when I tell them I can take their information for my managers to follow up on the next day and they're all rudely "No, nevermind. I'll just check another time." Like... dude! I'm helping you get started on what you're wanting to do... but if you don't provide your information, you're not going to get anywhere. Especially when our managers chat with those inquiring to see if our facility is even a good fit for the person looking for a place to live.
