Christin smirked down at the Larvitar. It wanted to get away with being a pest, then she would get him anyway. Picking him up, she decided she would get her revenge later. Right now she wanted to get to the next town. Maybe challenge that gym leader. Who knows, maybe it would be a piece of cake. Chuckling, Christin put Mia away, who was starting to feel less hot to the touch. Which was good. Setting Phalanx on her shoulder, Christin followed the path through the forest, wondering what the girl from the fair she had met was doing. She had gotten the older girl's number... Emory nodded and stepped forwards to challange the hoard. she knew just who to call upon to get the job done just right. Releasing Gogoat from his pokeball all she needed to do was touch his horn and he'd know just what to do.

►The battle didn't last long before Emory had beaten the group of road side bandit pokemon now with each individual pokemon scattering to make its escape. Triston Stood back up with poke'balls in hand and just in time. Emory didn't wait to give thanks before snatching them up and making her capture attempts. There was no time to waste ! Targeted the Pansear first as it was the furthest away and closest to making it escape. The poke'ball stuck home and Pansear was captured without any problems but the second target, Pansage broke free from the first poke'bll before being captured be a second thrown by Triston just barely preventing its escape. Emory gave the black haired boy an odd look for his assistance as if to ask "what do you think your doing". Triston shrugged as Emory rushed to her poke'balls. Triston in the mean time looked to Viviette for answers. "Out of line ?" He inquired. Viviette smiled closing the gap between her and her charge. "Miss Emory has a habit of being self dependence is all." The maid explained. "Id think nothing of it. Im sure shes happier to have the Pansage then she is bothered by your assistance." Vivette was correct. Emory had wanted to capture it on her own but a little help didn't hurt. Emory was so pleased with herself in the moment it didn't really matter who made the final capture. These where her first new captures in ten years. That was reason enough to celebrate ! Triston had begun clapping just as she picked up the first of the orbs containing the Pansage. Vivette already had the other in hand herself. "Good job Miss Emory" The mutest tuned confused to see what he was clapping about but she quickly realized it was herself. Viviette was smiling as she held out the white orb. Emory having pocketed the unused poke'balls took the poke'ball containing her new Pansear. "Not bad. Sorry for the help but i didn't want it to get away from you like that." He explained. Emory smiled and mouthed a "thank you"."But im afraid to make a set you need to catch one more. Pansour. Elizabeth had soon arrived at the Santalune Forest, knowing that Santalune City would be after this. So she started walking, glancing around at all of the different trees and the greenery here. She was just hoping that there wouldn't be any of the Bug pokemon trying to get too close to her. There were a lot of creepy Bug pokemon, really not wanting to run into them at all and glad to have her parasol on her. Elizabeth just kept on walking, thinking about what the first gym leader will be like. They probably aren't too strong, like the first gym leader she had to fight against in Johto, but knew that she can't let her guard down either.

In silence, Ashley and Bastien passed the gate of the route exit from Aquacorde Town and into Santalune Forest. It was a bit of a change from the more open skies of the town to the consistent shade of the trees, but Ashley seemed to pay the change no mind, simply adjusting his glasses and the strap of his computer before continuing along the smoothed path.
Bastien kept pace a foot or so behind, ears twitching as his head snapped this way and that in awe. The scenery was rather breath taking, at least to him. He wasn’t use to so much foliage; the area where they kept the starter pokemon had some, but not a lot in the way of greenery. It was sparse, if anything. Probably for safety reasons. She was quite surprised to see a guy dressed more formally than she would assume a normal trainer dresses like. But she did smile as she could see the Fennekin following behind him, thinking that she should get to know other trainers in this region. So Elizabeth had started walking over to the guy and his pokemon as she was smiling. "Hello there. I'm guessing that you're a trainer as well? I also have a Fennekin too. I'm Elizabeth, it's nice to meet you." she then said to him, looking down at his Fennekin and waving to them with a smile. Thinking about it now, with how well dressed this guy is, maybe he is actually a coordinator instead like she is too. Either way whether he is a trainer or a coordinator, she wanted to get to know him a little.

Ashley stopped in his tracks as a voice sounded, straightening up proper as his grip tightened just a bit on the case at his side. Casually though he turned in the direction of the voice, free hand reaching up and gently pushing his glasses up once more as he noted the young woman approaching him. He studied her a moment, noting the rather high fashioned way she was dressed, a small smile crossing his face. There was something to be said to be in the presences of someone who seemed to share a value in their appearance.
"Bonjour." He replied, though quirked an eyebrow a bit as she quickly went into introductions, his own gaze briefly glancing back to Bastien as the fox stopped just enough to be a little bit behind his leg, the Fennekin giving the woman a surprised look as she greeted him. Another friendly face it seemed. Bastien gave a little head nod in greeting as she waved in his direction, seeming uncertain.
"It is a pleasure to meet you, madame Elizabeth." Ashley remarked, placing a hand to his chest and giving a half-bow to her. He straightened and smiled, hand still to his chest. "I am Ashley Fontaine, though you may call me Ashe if it is easier." He dropped his hand back to his side, adjusting the case in his other as he eyed her curiously. "Oui, I am a trainer." That was kind of the truth, right? Kind of. "You are as well, no? With a Fennekin? Then you are just starting, it is safe to assume." He inquired politely, Bastien shifting a bit behind him to watch the two converse.

Elizabeth was surprised as he greeted her in French, figuring that he must be from this region. She did see the Fennekin nod, glad and smiling a bit. She blushed a tiny bit as he called her madame and half-bowed to her, returning the favor and curtsying out of politeness. She listened as he introduced himself, saying that he is a trainer and asking if she is also while figuring that she is just starting. "Thank you, it is a pleasure to meet you as well. Yes, I am a trainer. I am also a coordinator, but that path has been put on hold for the time being. In a way, I am starting my journey here in this region. Originally I had started my first journey in Johto where I was born but due to some circumstances, I left and decided to come here to start a whole new journey in Kalos. I assume that you're a native of this region, yes?" Elizabeth said back to him, being vague with her reasons for why she left and putting being a coordinator on hold. The last thing she wants is to involve strangers with her problems and risk them getting hurt by her father and Team Void. Another reason why is that even though Ashe doesn't look like he would be with Team Void, she can't be too careful after all. Now this was feeling awkward to her though, thinking that she shouldn't have said anything about the coordinator bit or leaving Johto to come here. "I'm sorry, I hope that I am not bothering you at all. Since it seems that we both are likely heading to Santalune City, would you mind if I walked with you until we arrived there?" she then apologized and asked Ashe about walking with him the rest of the way to Santalune City. The first trainer that she meets and talks to here in Kalos, and she is already screwing it up. Hopefully Elizabeth didn't scare him away with that awkward conversation, wanting at least one person that she could be friends with here in Kalos.

Gin, Heiya, and Moyasu were all terrible hunters. He supposed it was only expected given their upbringing around humans. They never needed to hunt before. This was where he was incredibly happy to have brought Sora along with him from Pokemon Village. Sora knew how to hunt. He knew how to survive on his own without people. And, he had far more patience when it came to teaching than Shinri did. The Houndour took to the task immediately, though whether through personal interest or to keep the other three from feeling Shinri's wrath, the man didn't know. Not that it mattered anyway."You teach Gin and Heiya. I'm going to keep Moyasu here and work with her."Moyasu glared at him before turning to head off with Sora and them, but Shinri gave a low, feral growl and pressed his foot down on her tail to keep her there."I will not repeat myself, Moyasu. I am the alpha here and you will listen to me."Shinri really hated having to use Zoroark to remind others he was the one in charge, but some Pokemon just didn't listen to the human language; it was far less intimidating. Moyasu's ears went down almost submissively at the tone in his voice and she opted to stay there; though, she certainly didn't submit entirely. She was definitely an alpha-beta. Sora gave an almost sympathetic look to Moyasu before leading Gin and Heiya off to find suitable prey for them to take down. Shinri knew Sora and the Houndour knew firsthand just how ruthless a leader Shinri could be when he had to be.

Ashley listened thoughtfully as Elizabeth answered his question, expression ambiguous though with slight hints of interest. It was as he figured, though he did take note of her comment that she was also a coordinator, though apparently that was on pause. He remained silent until she’d finished, though his head had tilted a bit in curiosity.
"You are from Johto? That is quite zee change in scenery." He remarked, curious expression still in play. He’d been to that region a couple of times for work; from what he understood it was steeped in tradition and mythology with its own gorgeous landscapes. A little less modern than Kalos though. "Oui, I am a native of this region." He mused, offering a slight smile. "I do hope you enjoy your journey in Kalos. It has its own kind of charm that I am sure a lovely lady such as yourself would appreciate."
He could sense the bit of awkward tension in the air but maintained his proper and polite demeanor, a warm smile slipping across his face. He certainly didn’t blame her for taking initiative to talk to others, especially if she was new to the region. It was hardly something to fault a person on. "Non, it is no bother at all." He assured as she apologized. "I am indeed on zee way to Santalune to meet with an associate." He straightened and looked thoughtful a moment, flicking his wrist up to check his watch before resting his gaze back to her, slight smile still present. "Bien sur. It would be an honor to escort you madame, if you wish. I would welcome zee company as well." Ashley replied, adjusting the case in hand once more. "I assume you are heading there to attempt zee gym, no?"

Elizabeth had nodded back to Ashe as he commented that it must be quite a change in scenery for her. She was glad when he confirmed that he is a native and hoping she enjoys her journey here, that Kalos has its own charm she could appreciate. Luckily he had reassured her after the apology and told her that he is going to Santalune City as well to meet with someone. Then Ashe said that it would be an honor to escort her and welcoming the company, asking if she is going there to attempt the gym. "It is certainly different from Johto, but I do believe that I will enjoy it here in Kalos too. Thank you, I would love to be escorted. Yes, I am going to challenge the gym. Are you planning on attempting the gym as well?" Elizabeth had said back to him as she smiled, happy that she didn't scare him off and is being so pleasant. This was nice, getting to meet other trainers like him and chatting all friendly.
