{Just posted. Ish. Oh, and srsly, Dragon Age II kicks a**. I'm on my seccond playthrough already.}
"I am too. I'm thinking that we can't risk her losing her father to this age of anti-magic." Mala replied softly, smiling up at Van.

((That's the beauty of Pokemon games. The DS can be played while at the computer. XD ))
A warm smile spread across Van's face as he rested his head on her shoulder. "I love you."

{True. I can do the same with my Xbox, since my compy and/or iPod is always close enough to. I just get too distracted by the game. XD Before I know it, over three hours at least pass by.}
"I love you too." Mala replied, matching his smile easilly.

((And judging by the amount of cinematic scenes involved with the four or five bridges in the game, I am convinced that Pokemon Black/White has a hard on for bridges. XD No joke, the first bridge in the game is super long, battle-free, has triumphant "welcome to the world!" music, and even has dynamic and changing camera angles. XDD ))
"Give me some time, and I'm sure I'll be too full of proud new parent fuzzies to be depressed and paranoid." Van said, smiling down at the baby he held.

{XD Lol. Well, bridges are often the gateway to something important. Either that or they're full of hairy, biting monsters.}
"I know. Which is why I'm not reprimanding you for being such a pessimistic man lately." Mala said in a joking manner. "I like it better when you're smiling, after all."

"Well can you blame me? How would you feel if you lost your ability to use magic and all your immortality after a thousand years or so of having it all?" Van said.((Not necessarily. After a very cinematic drawbridge closed, it was just a brief walk over to a little podunk town with nothing impressive but a rather boring and easy gym (ground types don't like water and grass very much ).))

{Wow. XD That's why I seldom use rock types.}
"I would be pretty damn miserable, but I wouldn't let that stop me. I was just an ordinary high priestess with bad healing skills when we first met, as I recall." Mala replied, chuckling.

"That was then. This is now. And besides, as a priestess from way back when, you had little to no magical skill until after you practiced and went to school." Van pointed. "Not to mention you were still mortal at the time."
((Me neither. I usually keep them around just the evolution experience before sticking them in the box. I'm a proud supporter of the 'kill it with fire' method. Despite me only having maybe one fire type so far and going with Snivy because it was cuter, has better looking evolutions, and I could name it Smugleaf...))

{Same here. Except I like drowning them with water. Or ripping them apart in their cute little dreams. Or using whichever the hell of my pokemon is the strongest.}
"Yes, but that was an escape from manual labor. One I was glad to take." Mala said, reffering to her being in priestesshood to begin with. "The temple of Atius payed well. I was able to use much of my savings from that time to get into the school to begin with. The point is, I guess, don't let a setback like this hold you back. If there is a will, there is a way."

((That too. Along with frying them with electricity, giving them hypothermia/frostbite, or making their brains explode with psychic ********. I don't care if you did already mention psychic types, I like my phrasing better.))
Van smirked slightly. "I'm glad you weren't one of those abstinent nun types. I'd probably be a little more grumpy otherwise."

{Yes, your phrasing is most certainly better. XD}
"Even if I were, I wouldn't have minded breaking my vows for you after seeing what that b*****d is like." Mala replied with a small sparkle in her eye.
