 I loved seeing all of the Barbie cosplays while I was at the con. I even stopped by the cosplay meetup to check them out since I needed to pass some time before my next planned event.

And, of course, the Critical Role cosplays were fabulous too. I loved seeing the more creative ones (i.e. miniature figurine of Matt Mercer from the advert the Critical Role cast did).

A new behind-the-scenes video for S2 of OFMD was released and had some more sneak peaks behind the season. Some being new footage, others being extensions of previous scenes we saw. So excited for this new season!

Wow. Sometimes I wonder if people hear themselves when they say certain statements.
Just had someone call wanting to get more information about our facility. They inquired if we had any open rooms and I stated we didn't have any at this time and typically pull from our waitlist when they do, which can be a 6 month to 1 year wait. They asked if I could suggest any other facilities and notified them I wasn't as familiar with other facilities but gave her the headsup to expect a similar situation with waitlists. They replied "So, what are they supposed to do? Die?"
Like... wow.

We're an assisted living facility, not a hospice or senior housing. Most people who move in are expecting to live here for a long time, not as an "end of life" situation. Hence the long wait for anyone interested in moving in.
And with limited facilities in the area, of course there's going to be a waitlist with so many people trying to find a place to go to when they are unable to provide for themselves and family is unable/unwilling to assist.

Anyway...
Working on adding new songs to my Blackbeard (Taylor's Version) playlist as we get more and more snippets of the new season. I won't be able to properly put them into order yet until I see what order events take place. But at least I'm getting a head start with songs that reminded me of the scenes we see.
