"Should we be concerned to have you among us?" said Aziraphale. "They're already not happy with us because of... well, you know. Would it be a bigger alarm if they discover you're now... collaborating with us?"
"Collaborating on what, angel?" said Crowley.
"I don't know!"
"You don't need to worry. They can't track me like they're able to track you, Aziraphale," said Jophiel. "They lost that ability after the Fall. Something about the demonic aspects of me."
Crowley laughed. "Well, how about that!"
"You said... you said Crowley and you knew each other way back when."
Jophiel nodded. "Crowley created the stars. I helped invoke the knowledge of astronomy and astrology into the human's mind. Oh, and languages? You can thank me for that."
"You did that?" said Aziraphale, eyes widening.
"Angel of beauty and art, they called me," said Jophiel.
"She used to have a flaming sword too, angel," said Crowley. "What ever became of that sword, any way?"
"God asked for it back. Apparently, it was needed elsewhere."
Crowley and Aziraphale stared at her in silence as they realized the sword she had was probably the very same one they ended up getting multiple times in their existence.
"Not that I mind," said Jophiel. "One less thing to have to carry around."
"How is it that we never met before?" asked Aziraphale. "It sounds like you were involved in a lot of important things like I was."
"Different places at the same time, I suppose. Except for Crowley and me. We sometimes found ourselves in the same place. Creation of the stars. Downfall of Adam and Eve."
"Downfall of Adam and Eve?" asked Aziraphale.
"I tempted them. She banished them out of the garden. You gave them a flaming sword to defend them."
"Wait?" said Jophiel, turning to look at Crowley. "Flaming sword?"
"Funny how that sword gets around, ain't it?"
"She always did have a unique sense of humor," said Jophiel.
