   Me afterward showing my parents the entire season of Our Flag Means Death and they comment they liked it enough that they would be open to watching the second season when it comes out.
This is a big deal for me since it's the first fandom of mine that they've actually shown genuine interest in and agreed to watch more than one episode. And the fact they actually want to see more is amazing too.

Ended having an 1 hr 20 min long phone call with a potential future resident. She recently went to the hospital and she's in a distressed state because apparently her current residence won't accept her back and she isn't sure if we'll still accept her because of the change in her condition. I explained only our Director would be able to adequately give her an answer to that. But in the end it was more of her just sharing all of her thoughts about the situation and what she dislikes at the hospital. xp You would think that after having the other person only going "Yeah... hmm... oh... yeah..." over and over again in response to your ramblings you would get the indication that "Oh, maybe I should end this call and not take up more of their time," not "Oh, someone's actually listening to me, let me continue on with all of my problems."
Like... I don't mind if it was just a half hour conversation. But to take up over an hour spilling everything to basically a stranger who didn't ask for it is a bit much.

I'm cold. sad And the heater we have here at the Front Desk is not running correctly and I don't feel comfortable having it run when it's making a weird smell. *sighs*

I noticed this line during the watch through of OFMD with my parents. Quite curious about what Jack knows about Izzy to say this. Could it possibly be related to the green-gemmed ring on Izzy's tie?
