I hate being the constant go-to for things just because I happen to be at the [in-]convenient location of the Front Desk.

The crew around Jack cringed in slight disgust and astonishment at his behavior.
"Hit the rope, Jack," called out Mary Anne.
Jack turned to face her in surprise. "What?"
"You heard me," she said, stepping up to face him, her eyes staring him down with an icy stare.
"Oh, come on! I was just giving them a bit of fun, that's all."
"And don't think you'll be allowed to grace my ship's deck again with your presence," she continued.
Jack gazed as her for a moment before sighing with defeat.
"Fine. But you know you can be quite the pirate pooper sometimes," he said, as he turned to go towards the rope ladder to his small boat that awaited below in the water.

But seriously, when you have been trained by customer service-based jobs to be quick at completing a task, so you are available to help guests... it becomes quite a change when you're doing the same pacing for your tasks at a more relaxed work environment. So, I always end up finishing everything within the first couple hours of my shift.

Either we have the numbers already elsewhere or we no longer utilize said companies. Or if we need a number for something, we just look it up online." *dumps full container of notecards of numbers*

After years of contemplating whether to do something with those notecards, I finally made the ultimate decision to get rid of them. And yes, I did look through every one to make sure there wasn't anything significant we needed to keep but there wasn't. Makes the desk a bit nicer without that container sitting there cluttering up the area.

 I watched the video of the OFMD panel at ECCC and it was absolutely fantastic. Love the chemistry among the three of them. I also loved that the first person who asked a question to the cast was the Izzy cosplayer I met at the Ren Faire I attended. When it switched camera view, I was like "Hey! It's ____!" surprised mrgreen
