 Well, I was able to put holds on some physical books from my pirate-themed TBR list to check out from the library. A bit frustrating though that some of the books I had hoped to read are either not available at my local library or are only available in EBook format, which I don't want to deal with.

It'll be nice to read something different since I've been reading through the Bloody Jack series these past few weeks. And now with these last few books I can tell the initial charm is starting to die out and I feel like I'm just reading rehashed versions of prior plot lines. It's still enjoyable... just harder to be as fascinated with the story now.

It gets very annoying when a resident states something was dropped off/delivered for them on a day I wasn't here and they didn't receive it, and get overly difficult about inquiring about its whereabouts. Like I understand the frustration of having the items missing but I don't deserve all of the frustration to be directed at me when I wasn't even here to deal with the items in question. And also there's no reason for us to be putting items in our fridge or a random cabinet especially if they belong to a resident. If it contains perishable items and we don't see you pass by the Front Desk while we're here, we'll send it up to Nursing when we leave for the caregivers to pass along. talk2hand
