 RARS:do u ever speak and hear ur own accent come out really strong and have a moment like "oh ********, i really sound like that" I never really thought I had an accent until someone at college asked me if I was from the South because apparently they picked up on a Southern accent in my voice. I was like "I'm not... but my Dad's family technically is." So, now I am more aware of when my Southern heritage peeks its head out.
I do the same thing with my Scottish heritage. Sometimes it pops up randomly when I'm speaking.

Well, that was slightly amusing/slightly annoying. I was waiting for the ambulance to come, so I could direct the personnel to where they needed to go. I see them drive past and I'm like "Oh, they're probably just going to go around the block, so they can back up." After giving an adequate amount of time for them to do that (including some extra time, in case they caught red lights), I still don't see them. I was like "Where the hell are they?" Eventually I went over to look out one of the kitchen back doors to see if maybe they decided to park on that side of the block to come through the neighbor's gateway and see the ambulance parked there. Confirmed it with my co-worker they had decided to come through the back way.
And here I was just waiting around to be nice and guide them through the building... and give them our resident's paperwork. stressed whee

So, I'll be going to a Ren Faire next weekend. It'll be my second time attending this particular one but my first time doing the full weekend plus camping. So, I'm quite excited about it.
I had already gotten items for the main outfit I wanted to wear to it. A new look for my half elf warlock Almina.
Then I realized I needed to figure out what I was going to wear for the second day. sweatdrop With some quick thinking, I purchased some items off of Amazon that should hopefully get to me on Wednesday. Considering I had no shipping issues previously with the items I got for Almina's outfit, I don't expect to encounter any issues. I really hope it works out because I'm actually getting excited for this second look, lol.

The second look? It's going to be a fem Ren Faire/Victorian inspired Blackbeard look. Yep. I'm doing another Blackbeard cosplay. Big surprise there. xd Went with the whole black and purple aesthetic with the items. And will be wearing my wig and handmade tattoo sleeves with it. Probably will take my skull/dagger earrings too to replicate the earrings he wears in his Kraken look.
