actually it wasn't a katana . . . it was something else . . . resembled a katana yes . . . so did ruroni kenshin's backwards sword . . . but it too had a different classification . . . when i was younger i put far too much time into researching the differences in sword types . . . japanese chinese middle eastern european etc. although i don't remember much i do know that if it's not within a certain size range and it's deemed larger or more curved backwords etc. then it's not what you'd think it is it's actually a different sword . . . and if it doesn't fit into the norm then it's a fantasy sword . . .

yeah that makes sense, I think of daikatana, but I'm sure sepheroths sword is a bit beyond that even, knowing all the different classes of swords wasn't ever really what I wanted to do, I was more into unarmed combat, so I know alot of different martial art styles.

only problem with earth and air elements is that fewer people care for thos . . . most people prefer either fire or water/ice . . . and they realize this . . . or it's black and white . . . least that's the common tendency . . .

speaking of sword classes there use to be an awesome game for the PS2 that was real good about that, way of the samurai I believe it was, it had the different types of blades and styles used with those paticular swords.

it's very unfortunate that they look at it that way, they should have at least all five of the elements, or at least 4, but I guess that's something I'd have to push for if I really wanted it. of course there's not much else to add to demonic and angelic that's about it for that paticular genre.

i've heard of it . . . never played it . . . haven't played many games that came out on systems after the ps1 . . . so xbox ps2 and up i probly didn't play . . . and if i did i didn't play much . . .
main reason i know of swords is cause the fact that a blacksmith made them by hand fascinated me . . . although i am an artist and since blacksmihing a sword to such standards as i've seen . . . is really just insane . . .
there's katana daikatana and i think there's one just a but longer than the daikatana and that's where sephiroth's fell into . . . it was nicknamed horsekiller or something it was meant to take out the horse and rider in one go . . .

wow that's gotta suck three useless 5's
my pick for a sword would be ichigo's bankai . . . i love it's all black look and it's length . . . a replica is about 68 inches, almost 6 feet long . . .

I'm sure it was a cheap display model like most of those swords you see in sword shops, but untill I get the skills and supplies I will have to just not worry about it..
