Marx tilted his head with a quizzical smile. Physically...? "So you don't get mentally tired of smiling?" he asked, a bit playfully. It was a funny word choice, for him. To most people, her meaning probably would have been obvious-- but this was Marx. "Obviously, you shoudl smile more!" he suggested, stretching his arms up and twisting a bit to stretch his back, "Gotta build those smile muscles up!" He formed a muscle with one arm as he brought them down, placing his hand on his bicep, but with a grin that made it obvious the pose was in jest.
Dropping his arms to his side, he finally stored his hands in his pockets, instead of behind his head, and focused on her. He was a little surprised that Cheria hadn't replied yet, but she was probably busy training, or battling again, or something. He nodded when Alex answered his question, then perked up as she suggested his visit. He was about to agree to do that soon, but was reminded of his gym priorities, and simply gave a solid nod. "For sure! Maybe after I catch up on my training and stuff," he agreed. Not too surprisingly, he got a bit distracted as they entered and walked through the city, glancing around, already somewhat forgetting to keep an eye on his pokemon, even after having just flagged him down.
Luckily, this was Basil, who knew better than to run off. The Grovyle resumed walking once the rainers neared, glancing down at Xion, and nodding, trying to see into some of the alley ways. "Wonder where pokemon even stay in a city like this, though..." he mused, squinting suspiciously at some garbage cans, then hopping over, peering in, then continuing on along, still gazing around.

Rose smiled a bit sheepishly, one hand reached behind her head to rub at her neck. Now they were focused on her. At least they didn't think it was that weird that she wasn't really that much of a shopper. Du even made a comment about what kind of shopper she was. "Heh... Sorry. It's always been that my mom would pick out clothes for me to try on. I wouldn't know what to get, really." she commented. The red head was surprised to hear that outfits were important for pokemon contests. "Really? I thought they were all about the pokemon." she muttered, unaware that the trainer would have to dress up too. As Isis asked how she felt about nail polish and jewelry, Rose couldn't help but remember those earrings that Marx had given her. "Hmm... I guess I wouldn't mind trying either one. I don't have my ears pierced though.... heh..." Rose responded thoughtfully, pointing at her hole-less ear lobes. Maybe she could get them pierced? But would it hurt? Would her dad be angry? So far in her journey, she noticed that ear piercings were pretty darn common. Dumuzi snapped her out of her thoughts by asking what kind of contests Rose was planning to enter. "Huh? I dunno much about contests... I guess I could go for cute, what with how cute my pokemon are." Rose responded, following along with the girls.
The red head's attention was briefly stolen away as a little pokemon escaped from Dumuzi to get up on Nova's shoulder. The little orange pokemon looked familiar... "Oh no! Sunny! oh jeeze, i left Sunny at the daycare... I hope she's not going to be too upset..." Rose exclaimed, then fell into a mutter. There had to be a PC somewhere nearby, right? She remembered that Fynx had said the Dedenne didn't want to miss any adventures, but she had did just that as her trainer had forgotten her at the daycare for quite a while.
Fynx stayed by Atona's side while the girls shopped, and Nova seemed to be having a chat with Atona. As the conversation didn't concern her, she didn't feel a need to jump in. While they talked, she kept her eyes on her trainer. Well, she might not be into shopping that much, but it was nice to see that she was starting to enjoy herself a bit and get more involved. Fynx smirked at Atona's response to her comment about feeling like Rose's trainer. It was nice to know she wasn't the only one that felt like roles had somehow reversed over time. And well... that at least they had that in common. It wasn't something that she expected - having something in common with the old dog besides having been at that horrible halloween ball and turned into something like a zombie.
The Delphox's smile faltered as Niamh came over, asking if Atona and her were going to have eggs. "N-niamh! That's not something you just ask!" Gina chimed in, but she was definitely trying to hold back some giggles at the idea. The fox and the dog did seem to spend a lot of time together, from what she saw. Nova seemed to find the question quite hilarious - she was in hysterics by her trainer. Fynx snorted, looking down at the blue sylveon, but then looking to Atona to catch his reaction. It seemed like a ridiculous idea, making eggs. With Atona. Thought thinking about it, she wasn't totally against such a thing but... that was silly. The old dog surely wouldn't be having any of that. "I don't know. Atona?" Fynx answered the sylveon, but moved to face the Lucario. The pressure was now on him, and she wanted to see his reaction.

She watched, with slowly widening eyes, as her companion struck a pose. "Pffffffft," she snorted and was forced to cover her mouth to try and stifle her giggles. Eventually her laughter died down, the last of her giggles finally wearing out, and the brunette managed to regain her composure. "That would be wise," Alexandra remarked, relieved that Marx actually kept his priorities in order. As much as she would enjoyed to have shown her friend around her home-region, she would much rather prefer he get his gym badges and assure that his pokemon would continue to obey him. "I'll even give you a tour around Sinnoh's most popular cities," she offered, and out of the corner of her eye watched as he became distracted once more. He seemed to be awed by the city--she couldn't blame him for, considering how much advertisement they put out--which left her in charge of watching after both their pokemon. She didn't mind it, especially since they'd slowed down.
"Hmm," Xion hummed thoughtfully, joining Basil in his search for wild pokemon. "I actually don't know!" she chirped, rather optimistic about her ignorance. "I haven't been in much of these cities." She'd spent her entire life living in Granite Cave, its dark and spacious area her comfort for several years now. "But, maybe an alley?" she finally suggested, then grew quiet as Basil went off to investigate a trashcan. He didn't seem to have much luck, however, and eventually he returned. "Maybe we'll have better luck in a new area?"

✿ ❀ Isis giggled a bit as Dumuzi asked rhetorically if she was in the mood for a makeover. "Pfshhhh....! I'm always in the mood for a makeover, and always prepared." There was a gleam in her eye, albeit a dangerous one. "When I'm through with you, you're gonna look so good, the other girls will be sooooo jealous~" She giggled. Unfortunately, she didn't have any advice as far as finding a doctor for this sort of thing. Isis didn't exactly have very much experience with it herself. She was confident Dumuzi could figure it out though, and of course, as Isis had promised, she would be there to help however she could. There was of course also the issue of coming clean to her mom. Isis looked thoughtful. "I think that if she loves you, she'll accept your choice. It might take some time, I don't know, but you should definitely tell her." Isis nodded. As they dug through a few more purses, Isis ultimately decided on keeping the leather one that she liked at first glance. Nothing else was really popping out at her, but one purse in particular did pop out at Dumuzi. Not for her own interests, but for Zero's, or at least what she thought was Zero's interests, which she explained as adventurous, stylish, and expressive, even in a flamboyant way. Isis looked over Zero and hummed thoughtfully over her description. Zero only commented on how if she thought he was sunshine and rainbows, he would hate to see her version of dark and moody. Isis laughed. "She didn't say you were all sunshine and rainbows, weren't you listening silly? Du, I'd say you're half right. He's kind of adventurous. He's expressive, but only when he feels passionately about something, and he's flamboyant only when it comes to exaggeratory acting, like in contests~" She closed an eye and grinned.
Their attention turned to Rose next, who also seemed to be unsure about shopping, and was confused when Isis insisted that costumes were an important part of contests, since she was under the impression it was all about the pokemon. "Well yeah, it's all about the pokemon, but coordinated costumes between trainers and their pokemon go a long way in helping show off your pokemon even more!" Isis explained. Rose seemed happy to try jewelry and nail polish, though she mentioned that she didn't have her ears pierced. "That's fine. There's plenty of clip on earrings, and earrings aren't the only kind of jewelry we can look at." Isis insisted, though Dumuzi also suggested trying to narrow things down to what contest Rose was going to try entering first. "Mm yeah, I think that's a good idea too." Isis agreed, listening as Rose explained she was going to try a cute contest since her pokemon seemed pretty cute. "Heh~ Sounds like a plan, but when it comes to pokemon contests, it's all about looks and the attacks you use. Different attacks have different categories, the same categories as the kinds of contests. A cute pokemon using a cute attack is really effective in a cute contest, especially if you and that pokemon are wearing a super cute outfit!~" Isis practically bubbled over in excitement just thinking about it.
Atona stiffened lightly when Dumuzi's sylveon asked he and Fynx if they were going to make eggs. "....P-pardon...?" He stammered, clearly caught off guard by the question. Nova's laughter didn't help his embarrassment. Really, the very idea... Gina lightly scolded Niamh for asking such a question, and Nymph looked rather confused by all the chatter. Atona sure looked flustered though. Atona folded his arms and kept his gaze low, shifting a bit uncomfortably when Fynx put the pressure on him. "..............." He remained silent for a good long while before he finally answered. "We are capable certainly, but.... No." Atona said quietly, ears flattening behind his head. No... Never again. As Nova was flattered by a suave dedenne, Rose seemed to recall that she had left a pokemon at the daycare. "Who's Sunny?" Isis asked curiously. ✿ ❀

Du wasn’t sure if she liked that look in Isis’ eye or not when she informed her that she was going to be making her so pretty that all the other girls would be jealous. Du smiled lightly at that, she doubted that she was going to look that amazing –even with Isis’ help. But the thought of being one of the ‘beautiful elite’ when all was said and done did give her something to look forwards to. She had been so used to people picking on her because of her femininity and odd interests, so the thought of actually being accepted more widely for who she was definitely made Du feel warm and excited about what was going to come. She trusted Isis, even if that twinkle in her eye suggested that it might not be a good idea to. Du blinked in surprise when Nova made her presence known inside Du’s mind. At first, Du was wondering who it was from but quickly remembered the voice coming from Nova. Du gave Nova a bit of an apologetic look. ”I… don’t know to be honest. Maybe he would just like some company after being in that pokeball for so long?” Du brought her hand up to the side of her cheek and scratched it lightly, hopefully Tam Lin was doing anything too crude or obnoxious to Nova. She really didn’t feel like searching for him again after one of the girls clobbered him have way back to the other region. Granted, from what she gathered from Tam Lin’s character he was a harmless flirt and pick up artist, always willing to tell a tall tale to make himself look better and more awesome than he was. Du loved him to bits, he was such a card! ”Babe, you beauty was just a siren song that I couldn’t ignore. I always love sharing my time with beauty as intoxicating as yours.” ”The only thing that attracted you out of the ball was the fact that she is a girl, you pervert.” Titania replied flatly, calling a spade a spade to let Nova really know why Tam Lin was on her shoulder and whispering sweet nothings into her ear. ”The only thing you’re interested in is the breeding center.” ”Beat it kid, you’re bothering me. Let the adults talk.” Du chuckled a little bit, she wondered what all the pokemon were talking about that got Nova into such a wave of hysterics? It must have been interesting being able to understand pokemon, she had heard of a few people like that though she never really met them and she was of course open-mindedly sceptical to the whole thing. But, maybe there were people who could understand the pokemon language. She wasn’t going to say that it was an impossibility. Du pulled her thoughts away from the gathered pokemon and back to Isis and Rose as they talked about the contests and what was required of them. ”I have a friend who loaned me a book that details what category that pokemon moves would fall under and how they would appeal to the judges in a pokemon contest, I could loan it to you as well if you’d like? It might give you a good basis on where to start with your contests. If you get your movesets figured out, the other steps should be easy, and if you want more help, you have my number. Hopefully by then I’ll have a few ribbons under my belt and can help you out, even if it’s to be something of a mock judge and help you out that way.” For something that Du never imagined herself doing she was certainly getting deeper and deeper into it. She hadn’t gotten her first ribbon yet and already she was being something of a mentor to someone else. Granted, Du might be biting off more than she could chew on that one. Having little actual experience herself, she didn’t want to come off as a know-it-all to someone she just met.
The topic of a different pokemon came up and Du couldn’t help but chuckle a little bit again. Rose seemed like a lovely girl, if a little scatterbrained at times. Du couldn’t fathom forgetting one of her beloved pokemon in the daycare center, heavens, half the time if one pokemon was missing she just felt like she was not a whole person anymore. She certainly had an interesting bond with her pokemon. It was great to have them with her and she didn’t regret anything that she had done up to this point either. Du was about to ask who Sunny was, but Isis beat her to it. Niamh looked at Gina with a bit of a tilted head when she was lightly scolded about asking if the two pokemon were going to make eggs. ”Why not? Oh! Do you mean that I should be asking how many hatchlings they had?” Niamh looked over to the pair of them again with her tail wagging at full force, the only reason why she wasn’t prancing back and forth was because she didn’t want to bump into Nymph. ”How many hatchlings! Tell me! Tell me!” It was safe to say that Niamh might not have been the brightest crayon in the box, but she had an innocent charm about her that often made the others just muse before slowly explaining things to her or just giggling her off. As she listened to the pair talk about their plans to have eggs – or lack thereof – Niamh stared at them for a little while longer, a blank smile still on her face though her tail stopped wagging as she processed the information. Suddenly her tail started to wag at full force again. ”So is that a ‘maybe’?”

"It certainly seems like that's one way of putting it," Nova reported, as she finally brought herself down from her hysterics. As the mouse continued to try and woo her, the Gardevoir simply giggled softly, before she lifted Tam Lin off her shoulder with her powers. "Well, I don't think I've ever met someone quite like you at least. A word of advice, though. You may want to consider dropping 'babe' from your pickup vocabulary. Sends the wrong messages." She gently lowered the Dedenne into the hands of the Kirlia at the group's feet. "Now, who would you be then?" She asked, smiling softly at Titania.
On another note, Zero was finding himself rolling his eyes at Isis' comment, reporting how Du was only half-right about the bag fitting him. "Flamboyant isn't the word I'd use to describe it, Isis." The boy shifted his gaze away, remembering his time in the contest hall. It was something he walked away from consciously, a decision he came to with plenty of deliberation. So it was strange now, to see others so passionate about it again, almost making him want to step back into that same world...
Still, at least the others didn't seem to dwell on her comment too much. He was more than happy to keep himself only a passenger in this conversation, leaving the girls to enjoy themselves freely. It felt odd, frankly, as Zero felt he was observing a separate world entirely, after all that's happened as of late... But he decided to jump in again as Rose seemed to realize she forgot something... rather important. "You forgot a pokemon in the daycare?"

Rose was certainly learning more about coordinating already, and she hadn't even found a contest hall yet. "Ooooh! So it's a combination of me and my pokemon?" she commented. She couldn't help but feel she might struggle to do her part for a beauty or cute contest, and maybe even smart. Well, probably all the contests. She gave a nod as Isis told her there were clip on earrings. Right, she had almost forgotten about those. At least that way she wouldn't risk upsetting her parents. Du mentioned a book about what moves fall under what category of contest, and offered to lend it to Rose. It sounded like it'd be a great idea to take a look, and Rose really appreciated the offer. "If you don't need it anymore, I'd love to borrow that book. Thank you, Dumuzi!" she smiled, sticking close to the girls.
Not long after that discussion, the appearance of a little mouse pokemon of Dumuzi's reminded her of her own little fairy mouse. Isis and Zero both questioned her after she had commented. "Sunny is my dedenne... I uh... yeah... I kinda forgot I left her at the daycare... heh..." Rose replied a bit sheepishly. She really did feel bad for having left her in the daycare for so long, even though she had done so out of concern for the little mouse. Sunny seemed to just have so much energy and no concern for the dangers of the world to a small creature like her. The red head didn't want her to be stepped on or something.
Fynx rather enjoyed watching Atona's reaction to the answer being brushed off onto him. He squirmed silently before eventually answering. Atona's response brought a pout to the Delphox's muzzle. "What, am I not pretty enough for you?" Fynx huffed, ears flicking back slightly. Her snout scrunched up a bit as Niamh continued on. Niamh... apparently wasn't very bright. Cute, she'd give the sylveon that. "No. There are no children." Fynx simply stated. She did wonder how Atona would respond to the 'maybe' part that Niamh had blurted out. Gina seemed mortified that her new sylveon friend had continued on. She didn't even know what to say to her friend to make her stop. ✿ ❀ Apparently Dumuzi had quite the flirt of a pokemon on her hands, as Titania flatly explained. Isis suddenly got a little gleam in her eye and snickered, glancing to Dumuzi with a grin. "Does that mean he's a.... Casanova?" Isis could barely contain herself, bursting into a fit of giggles at her horrid pun. Nova seemed to be enjoying her new company though, getting to know Titania while Isis and Du talked to Rose about contests. Du even offered Rose her book of move categories. "Oh yeah! I've heard of those books... I wonder if they sell them around here.... I'd certainly like to buy one~" She suggested, but honestly, as they talked, she wished Zero would join in. He was well versed in contests as well, and she knew how much he had enjoyed them. Still, he remained distant, insisting that flamboyant wasn't the word he would use to describe his acting in contests. She smiled softly, a touch of sadness in her expression when seeing even he seemed tempted to join in the conversation but didn't.
Their attention was mildly distracted to Rose when she suggested that she left Sunny, her dedenne, at the daycare. "Well at least now you remembered! They take good care of pokemon at the daycare, so I wouldn't be too worried." Isis insisted, seeing how embarrassed Rose seemed to feel about it. Meanwhile, Niamh continued to ask Atona and Fynx questions, like how many eggs they had, and if Atona's answer was a 'maybe'. Atona blinked. What part of 'no' hadn't she understood? Then of course Fynx had to go and make some comment about not being pretty enough for him. "That has nothing to do with this." Atona said quietly but tensely. There was an angry edge to his tone, his blue aura shimmering faintly around him as his temper began to flare. He turned away from the group as Fynx explained that there were no children, and Gina insisted that Niamh stop asking questions.
Isis in the meantime took her leather purse and urged the group to move on. Du’s eyes widened and she opened her bag to catch the tossed aside rodent. Titania looked up at her next evolution as she approached and asked her who she was. In typical Kirilia fashion, Titania bowed a little bit before she answered Nova. ”I am Titania, I am Du’s first and her starter pokemon that accompanied her on her journey. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance.” Titania straightened herself up with a rather proud -if not regal- posture that echoed her refined place within Du’s party. She may have been stolen from her original capturer but Du had given her the most love and attention out of the two of them as well as give her something to do other than sit in a pokeball all day. ”And you are Nova I gather? At least if Isis’ horrible pun is anything to go by.” Ugh, puns! Where did these humans even get these things? They were all horrid and did little to invoke the comedy that they were intended for. While the pokemon distracted each other and Tam Lin was recovering from his sudden flight lesson, Du offered Rose a gentle smile before she rummaged through her bag and produced the aforementioned book, offering it to Rose to borrow so that she could get an idea of the contest moves. ”I imagine that they would sell these books at the contest centers, and there isn’t just books about movesets either. There are books on making poffins and grooming… everything that you could ever hope to know about contests will more than likely be there. Hopefully that will give you a head start on your Contest aspirations though.” It was about then that Isis came up with her little pun and Du couldn’t help but give a chuckling groan. Oh boy… it seemed that Isis got her revenge for that entire steamy romance novel teasing that she had gotten previously. Du brought her hand gently to her face, smiling the whole time as she did so. ”Oh honey, we need to get you some better puns, your starting to sound like Leon.” Du was teasing of course, though she had to admit that the two were both on par with each other when it came to the bad jokes department. When Isis suggested that they pay for the bag and start their shopping for Rose, Du nodded in agreements. She was hoping to land some things for herself as well, maybe a little jewelry and some accessories to help her blend in a little more. Du was walking alongside Isis when all hell broke loose and some sort of vortex opened up and began to pull everything nearby into it. Du struggled for as long as she could to resist the vacuum of this anomaly and gathered her pokemon in her arms in a protective manner before the inevitable hit and Du and her pokemon were pulled into the unknown where her next adventure was likely to begin.

"I figured you'd at least know what to do with him," Nova replied, giggling lightly as she watched the little mouse go flying. As the Kirlia gave the Mega Gardevoir a short curtsy, she returned it, though primarily just bowing her head a bit. "Mhm. I've been on my trainer's team since he started his journey, though I guess most of the pokemon has now did as well." It was always a touch odd for her to see another of her evolution line. She couldn't help but wonder if she'd ever been like them in her previous evolutions, or stopped to think about the difference in colorations. Still, Titania seemed nice, and so she walked along with her trainer with the intent to chat some more.
Unfortunately, that didn't exactly pan out. As Zero groaned out a chuckle, Isis seemed to confirm the existence of certain books, before suggesting they pay for their stuff and move on. He simply nodded, following along a few steps behind the girl as they seemed ready to chat some more, the pokemon suddenly springing into alarm when the very fabric of reality began to strain. Then, without warning, a hole opened up, a black, gaping maw of shredded space opened up right out from under them, swallowing the girls and most if not all of the pokemon. Nova was only barely able to pull Zero back in time, leaving him just a step away from the edge.
But it was somewhat pointless, as instincts kicked in, and with a shout, he dashed out of the Gardevoir's grasp, leaping into that black void. "ISIS!" And in that instant, he was gone, leaping practically headfirst into the dark, hoping to catch up with them in time. Nova was quick to follow, taking a hold of her trainer before he leaped, pulling them both inside.

Rose happily accepted the book from Du, tucking it away in her bag. "Thank you so much! I'll make sure to find some time to read through it. " Rose smiled. Isis consoled her on having forgotten Sunny at the daycare. She gave a nod and a smile in response. She was right - the daycare did take good care of pokemon, so it couldn't possibly be that bad to have left her there. Still, she'd try to get her back soon if she could.
Fynx huffed lightly at Atona's tense answer to her. Her furry arms crossed over her slightly puffed out chest, tail twitching behind her. Seemed like the old dog was probably not interested in her at all, then. She gave a thankful look to Gina as she prevented the dopey but cute blue sylveon from asking more questions, and then soon directed her attention to Isis as she finally bought the bag. Fynx had almost forgotten she was carrying the girl's stuff, lowering the bubble and letting her take back the stuff to put in her bag.
Shortly after though, all hell broke loose. Rose had instinctively grabbed Isis' hand when it happened. "Fynx!" she cried out as some strange force pulled the three girls in. "Rose!?!" The Delphox whipped her head around feeling the strange pull in the air. Rye felt his fur stand on end as the rift opened and swallowed the trainers whole, floating after them. Fynx stared wide-eyed as the trainers disappeared, but wasted no time in going into the ... anomaly after them. The Delphox grabbed Atona's paw on the way by before disappearing into the rift, too. Gina was at a loss on what to do, her spare ribbon dropping from Niamh's face and the other ribbon tightening slightly around Nymph's ribbon. Should they... go in after them?

✿ ❀ Isis stirred slightly, feeling cold, hard marble flooring beneath her, a drastic change from the rocky terrain of the floating islands she had grown accustomed to in the Distortion World. Her memory was in a waking haze, foggy and full of questions. Where was she now? What had happened? Slowly, the heterochromatic blond rose to her hands and knees, Atona at her side at once. "Easy Isis." He insisted. Part of Isis was relieved that he was still with her, though the other part still wanted to know how, but when she opened her mouth to ask, only an uneasy groan escaped her lips as Atona helped her into a sitting position, propped up against something she couldn't see. After a moment, it all slowly came back to her.
The Distortion World, Rose had caught that awful giratina after the three of them had valiantly battled, and then.... Isis grimaced and clutched her head. Zero had tended to Nova, Fynx had been talking to Rose, and they ended up deciding to take the neon legendary with them... Or rather, Fynx decided, and Rose reluctantly agreed due to the fact that her starter wouldn't budge on the subject. Raja had reassured Rose that Rye would be alright with some rest, and both Fynx and Atona were looking for a way off their island since it was highly unstable after that rough battle. Isis had gone to check on Dumuzi, the poor girl was still passed out on the floor after all of that, much like Nova. It was too late however, as suddenly thundering cracks had resounded from beneath their feet, and the last thing Isis remembered was free falling through the air along with the debris of their crumbling island. So why were they here? "Ugnhh.... What.... Did I.... Was I dreaming....?" Isis blinked, glancing around at the totally normal shopping center that they had previously been sucked out of via portal. Had she just fainted and hit her head too hard on the tile or something? Atona debated whether he should lie, or tell Isis the truth, but given that Rose now had a Giratina in her possession, it would be pointless to lie. "No, you were not dreaming, however we seem to have somehow made it back into our world, back to the shop that we were pulled out of." Atona explained. "Is everyone okay? Are we all here?" Isis asked hastily, trying to get up too fast, but Atona eased her back down. "Yes, we're all fine, we're all here. Some are better than others, but-- I-Isis...?" Atona was continuing to explain, but paused when Isis broke down crying.
It wasn't too terribly surprising. She had held strong for everyone else all that time, she'd never had much of a chance to properly vent the build up of emotions she was suppressing. Honestly, Isis was just glad that this time, they all had made it out alive. None of her pokemon had died, Atona hadn't been left in the void, all of her friends were here.... "I... I don't know if I can take much more of this.... Ha.... If I lose anyone else, I don't know what I'll do...." Isis smiled wearily, wiping her eyes. For once, Atona was at a loss for words. There was little he could say to make her feel better, or to ease her pain. All he could do was nod solemnly in agreement, unsure if his old heart could take more of those situations either. He wasn't as spry as he used to be, and it was getting harder to keep pulling the blond out of trouble. Raja curled up around her trainer, purring soothingly and licking the tears from her face. Isis couldn't help but giggle at the cold tingling sensation, gently pushing the snow leopard's face away and stroking the soft fur of her head. ✿ ❀

Zero eventually awoke from the ordeal coughing, some dust from the floating debris having slipped into his lungs, before he eventually forced it out of his system. Without realizing it, he'd propped himself up on his arms, risen to his knees, and leaned against the counter which the store register sat upon. The cashier was visibly absent, but Zero unfortunately was more preoccupied with getting his own bearings back. He was able to collect himself in time for Isis to finally break down into tears, her own emotions finally being allowed to go free with everything behind them. He let her have her moment, the whole ordeal a draining experience. After a while though, he did finally speak again, looking over the friends that had fallen into the other world with him. "...If we can, we should probably head out to the Pokemon Center. I know everyone had a tough time with what happened in there."

"That was a close one....if you haven't reacted fo quickly, someone could have gotten seriously hurt, Spirit. Everyone is okay, right?" She paused to gather up her team and make sure everyone was okay.[- -] the little girl with the bright red hair replied, hugging the little Fennekin close to her chest. She had made sure to carefully protect this little one.[- -] the Espeon replied with a warm expression, nuzzling against the girl's leg. [- -]Cerbera was glad to see that none of her pokemon were hurt, especially little Lua, but more than that, the words of trust and encouragement set her at ease. She gave them all a big, affectionate hug, holding them tight. "Okay, let's do this guys," she said, getting up and leading the way into the city's southern ward. As they passed into the city proper, the change was like night and day. The buildings were so tall, the atmosphere so fancy, that the poor girl was nearly stunned by it all. She was wandering around, staring up at the large buildings and not watching where she was going. It didn't take long for the girl to wander down an alleyway and bump into one of the participants of a little circle of fighting pokemon, knocking it over and interrupting a fight that had just started. It got up, glaring at Cerbera and started to shout, clearly upset. Berrie's attention was finally pulled from her surroundings and onto the matter at hand, and she went pale. "Oh...Oh no..." she stammered.[- -]Spirit was much faster to come to a solution that her trainer was, because she could see the angry Machop getting ready to wind up and throw a punch at poor little Berrie. To stop it, the Espeon leamed in front of the girl and it's eyes began to glow once more, twisting the Machop's mind with a Confusion. The fighting pokemon dropped like a sack of flour, earning the enmity of all of the rest of the gang of fighters. They closed ranks around the little group of tourists and Spirit took on a fighting stance, ready to defend her friends.[-
