I was thinking about Stede's little secret closet on the Revenge. So, Kraken!Ed had all of the books and such of Stede's thrown overboard supposedly. But what if... what if Ed grabbed the books he knew Stede loved the most and other little knick-knacks and such... and hid them in that closet? Like created his own little Stede shrine in the secret closet, so that Izzy wouldn't know he still had them. A little place he can escape to be "just Edward/Ed" and not the "Blackbeard/Kraken" persona Izzy forced him to take on.
