"And that one is Cassiopeia. Named after the queen who believed her daughter was more beautiful than the Nereids and was punished by Poseidon to reside up in the heavens, chained to a throne," Hugh said, pointing at another part of the star-decorated ceiling above them.
"That one I can easily find simply because of it being a W," she commented.
"A W?" asked Hugh, turning to look at her.
"See?" she replied, drawing his attention back to the faux stars as she raised her hand and drew in the air where the stars of the constellation connected. "It resembles a W. Like the first letter of my last name."
"Ah, so that's why you know it." Hugh chuckled. "Not that there's anything wrong with that. I... I actually like it. It's charming."
"You're charming," she said, rolling over as she draped her arm over him to place her hand against the floor next to him and pushed herself up, so she could look down at him.
"Oh, I don't know about that. Intelligent, nerdy, goof-"
She kissed him into silence.
"You are charming to me," she insisted. Her other hand found its way into his hand, stroking the dark blackish-brown curling locks.
He smiled up at her.
"You're not so bad yourself."
She laughed and kissed him again.
