 So, the other day while my boss was doing orientation training for our new caregivers, she came into the office (when I was working in there) and she was all like "You and ______ should hook up. This is just between me and you, but I think you two would be good together." I was just a bit astounded by this random conversation. It's no surprise of people trying to hook me up with someone since it's well known knowledge I'm single... but it for my boss to do it? xd And I was just sitting there going "I don't even know the guy!"

Good morning. Another day of running on <7 hrs. of sleep. Ended up visiting with my parents until about 10:30 PM and then when I got home, I didn't want to completely go to sleep yet because I wanted to read some. So, I started reading Alan Furst's "A Hero Of/In France." Enjoying it so far.

When I read the description of the main character Mathieu, I was like... I wonder if Alfred likes this because he can envision himself being this character. Like seriously, the description matched Alfred's looks so much.
Of course none of the online previews have that particular page for me to grab the quote from. stressed

 Oh dear... one of the residents back to her "What should I do now?" phase again. I've given her multiple options and she'll disappear for a second, only to come back and repeat the question. Like, I love you dear... but I just gave you a whole list of things you could choose from. It's not going to change in a few seconds.

She looked around the crowd of attendees before her feeling out of place as every one seemed to know who they wanted to partner up with for the dance except her. As he eyes flicked from individual to individual, she was having to fight the urge of engaging in modern procedures. This event was supposed to embrace the customs of the past, thus it would not be looked upon favorably if she was the one asking for someone's hand to dance. She glanced over seeing a hand being held out before her.
"Shall we?" asked the deep voice, a hint of an accent coming through.
She looked up into the dark brown eyes of the tall older gentleman standing next to her. After a moment of surprise, she flashed a smile as she laid her own delicate hand into his. He gently lead her onto the dance floor and pulled her close into position.
