 It is so cold today. I had to scrap off frost on my windshield and all of the roofs in my neighborhood were white from the frost that settled on them.
Good thing I took care of putting on the outside faucet covers for the other faucets along our building yesterday when I got home. At least the ones I had access to. Not sure if the neighbor's put up the one for the faucet in their "back" patio area. I had already done that one on my side awhile ago.

I saw Fan Expo Portland (formerly Wizard World Portland) has their dates up and are starting to announce their guests. Not sure if I'll plan on going to it or not; just depends on how this winter's weather will end up being like when it gets closer to the time. The guest list at least seems promising so far - they're having a Back To The Future reunion. surprised

If I do go, I'm not sure what outfits I would take. I usually like to see what guests are attending and coordinate around that, especially if I'm doing a photo-op with someone.

At least I know the dates for other cons I regularly attend (pre-pandemic, of course), so I can start thinking about those. Nice to see there's some time gaps between the later ones, so I don't feel like I'm requesting potential time off back-to-back.

Of course our get-together concides with the beginning of my "time of the month." Hopefully these cramps won't dampen the mood to much and lessen when it's closer to our time hanging out.

Physically I'm here. Mentally I am sitting in the coziest reading nook, wrapped in a blanket, a cup of steaming tea by my side, and a book in my lap, while I look out the window and watch the rain gently knock against the glass.
