Realized today is Free Comic Book Day. Totally didn't realize it was today, otherwise I would've gone over during my break to see if they have any freebies to grab, especially the Critical Role one. Guess I'll head over there after work.

Sort of funny reading this summary about Samuel's Sweet Shop and how the Morgans and Rudds got involved. It makes it seem impersonal with how it's worded... and that it was Jeffrey's idea to take over the shop. But anyone who knows JDM and his wife or have read Hilarie's book The Rural Diaries will know the truth.
The original owner was a dear friend of the Morgans and Rudds. It was word of mouth that Hilarie learned Samuel's was on the verge of shutting down because financially it wasn't able to stay on its feet. Of course Hil was about to let that happen because it was such an important part of town. So, after consulting her husband and inquiring the Rudds on whether they wanted to co-own, they helped bring the shop back to its feet. While they certainly talk a lot about the shop, I wouldn't say they specifically advertise Samuel's just because they're trying to push it. It's just a unique fact everyone seems to inquire about and word of mouth brings more customers that way.

Saw: thoughts on horror movies? I tend to prefer thrillers more than horror films because the quality and acting is more enjoyable and better at pulling me into the story. Horror films tend to come off too cheesy that it pulls me out of the story. The purge: do you like going to the cinema? Yeah, it can be a nice experience.Ironman: do you have a letterbox? I have a mailbox...Spiderman: thoughts on superhero movies? I've enjoyed the MCU films. I don't care how many have come out. I enjoy their storylines. The DC films have been hit and miss for me. Some are really good like Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and the ones Harley Quinn has been. Then others had potential of being a bit hit but missed the mark. The godfather: longest movie you've ever watched? Several hours long or something.

Sometimes it's amusing seeing the comments people leave on the Walking Dead FB page. Especially when it leaves me going "You're kidding me, right?"
Like yesterday I watched a video where the actress who plays Princess is having to answer as many fan questions as she can in a certain amount of time. One of the comments someone left was essentially "I can't believe they introduced another character on this show. Why couldn't they just leave things the way they are." And I was going... "Um... you do realize Princess is a character from the original comic, right? It's not just some random character they made specifically for the TV show for the sake of adding new faces."

And then I just saw a conversation of comments where a person was like "They better have a good ending to this show that isn't 'It's all a dream'" Clearly this person has never read the comics... or even took the time to read into the storyline of the comics. Like, no, it's not going to end on that sort of note. Like, come on people! Where's your common sense?

I saw someone mention FTWD too in correlation to it but that show is more of a prequel of sorts and hasn't been until recently that events are officially matching up with the parent show. So... I doubt it's going to shed more like on our main characters lives beyond the finale unless they play a part in the FTWD storyline.
