Returning the kiss, and interlacing his fingers now in Aurum's hand's, the prince couldn't help but smile. Looking down at his partner, hopefully soon to be bride, Kaelthas noted the similarities of the gem and her eyes. It was a nice pairing to say the least. Pulling his eyes away from her for a moment, Kaelthas started around the market place. As was the last time, he stocked up on a few food essentials and a couple of odds and ends. With Aurum's illness coming and going, he went ahead and purchased more of the herbs that he would need to make her some more of the basic medicine. Sealed in a vial they should last long enough to work with should the need arise. Once he had finished shopping, there was little else to do for the remainder of the day. As Aurum did not seem to wish to drink, likely they could see if they could purchase some food to partake of while in the town.

Aurum, unlike many of their other trips to a market, stayed with Kael as he shopped and even purchased a sweet or two as he got practical food and items. The dragoness rubbed his thumb idly as they would pass anything that pertained to children, even gave his hand a little squeeze as a few beastly children ran by, one on all fours. Aurum again wondered about their lives.. and her look became distant and thoughtful.

Feeling the squeezes and rubbing of his thumb as they passed children or goods for children. Her mind seemed to be fixated currently on one thing, which was understandable. Kaelthas simply smiled as they walked, while they were for the most part being quiet and not speaking. There was currently nothing that needed to be said and simply being in her presence was plenty for the prince. Even after earlier, simply being near her brought a calm over him he enjoyed. Eventually their lives would become complicated. Unlike his lover tho, he was doing his best to push off those thoughts for the time. Wanting rather not to spoil their time together he gave a small squeeze of her hand.

Eventually, the dragoness did find another vendor that caught her interest, though this one had no magical presence to it.. and it was simple, having clothing here and there with cloaks and robes, various shirts and trousers that she might have fit into.. but the real interest was in the small stack of books that were neat on the table. Picking up one, the dragoness skimmed through a few pages quickly and then set it down back onto the others and shook her head, her interest diminished again. Though, that was a rather nice frock that was hung up.. no, Aurum decided against it and looked to Kael when her stomach gave a little grumble, "We should get a nice hot meal," She said, smiling to him.

Acting more as her ground then anything as they wandered now thru the market place. Kaelthas looked over her as she looked about on about at many of the trinkets the other stalls had. When she stopped again to look over some books, the prince had to chuckle as her stomach grumbled. "That sounds like a good plan" he commented towards her as he looked around. They had not spent much time in the town the last time thru and he was unfamiliar with the area. "Anyplace in particular you wish to eat at?" he asked shifting his stance some.

"The inn has a nice little place next to it, we could get something and eat in the room," Suggested the dragoness with a gentle voice. Aurum worried that the food might not sit well with her stomach, but she craved a few of the items the eatery offered. Starting to head that way some, the dragon was quiet again for a while before she looked to Kael. She grinned and spoke a little teasingly, "Sure your tender stomach can handle our food?" She gave a little laugh, but she knew there were plenty of items that were safe for her lover to consume in almost every place in the kingdom.. as well as some human on a few menus. Aurum's stomach grumbled once more as the inn came into view and her brow furrowed.

"Hmm are you sure your own stomach can handle it?" He had caught her grumbling stomach once again. She hadn't bothered taking the medicine he had prepared and he doubted that she would until her nausea was almost unbearable. "I think my own stomach will fair better" he chuckled walking next to her as he looked around at their surroundings. His thoughts again came back to the trinket he had for her, he wanted to give it to her sooner rather then later but knowing many were likely watching the pair, it was better to hold off. "Lets just get something that won't kill either of us, deal?" He grinned a toothy smile at his own joke as they arrived outside of the place she had been speaking of.

Aurum rolled her eyes a little but gave a laugh, "If you insist on not killing each other," She moved into the establishment, and it was a quaint place that she found the owner to the place easily, but kept pace with her lover and simply asked for their food options. A few were a little too common and plain for her.. but hearing they had familiarly seasoned mashed potatoes and decent amounts of fresh meat.. well, the dragoness was piqued. Deciding to have steak and potatoes, the woman was having a rather deceptively "human" meal, but of course the flavor would be far different than what Kael was used to. Looking to her prince, she smiled, "What are you going to have?"

Listening to the food choices, Kaelthas figured what he would have liked but waited. After Aurum gave her order he looked to the owner. "I will take the braised chicken breast with a baked potato" Kaelthas commented to the man. After making sure his order was taken, Kaelthas pulled them over to one of the tables in the corner for some privacy. "So then, have you taken the time to think of a name? Or is simply browsing the baby merchandise all you have done" he chuckled with a soft smile as he looked at her, his head now resting upon his hands.

The little dragoness listened to his choice and smiled, then allowed him to take the two of them to a table. The woman blushed a little at his question, and let her hands rest in her lap as she looked to him. Aurum shook her head, "I tried not to think on it, I thought only of you," She murmured truthfully, little jest in her tone. The dragon watched him and gave him a small smile, "I did buy a few toys," She admitted with a deeper blush, glancing away for a moment.

"Knew it" he chuckled at his partner as they sat there. "Lets say this. What if we just ran away from it all? Go back home, pull as much gold as we can hold, and then just leave. Go into the middle kingdom somewhere and hide away. With my glimmer's I think we should be able to hide without being discovered. As long as I don't get sloshed and convinced to remove my hood" he prodded her. "What do you think? Throw away most of these things" he asked her shifting some in his seat.

Better yet, what if we trick our parents and have them agree to allow us to be together?" She gave a little laugh, "Mine don't really need much tricking, they'll be glad to be rid of me."

Shaking his head at her crass words, Kaelthas just sighed. It was the first time he had heard her use such language but he was more surprised on how long it took. "Trick them hmm" he questioned with a knowing smile crossing his face. He had such an item that would allow for such a thing with him currently. "After we find the book" he said looking at her. "Then tricking them may be alot easier then you might know" he chuckled as their food arrived. Being set down infront of each of them, the scent was better then he had expected of such a run of the mill local.

Aurum watched Kael as he spoke, and she pursed her lips some. The book, the book! She wished she could just fly and go get it for him, but not knowing the right one was sort of a hindrance to that whole plan. When the food arrived, the dragoness smiled, "If that fails, we run away together," She said happily, serious with him. She picked up her hand and held it out to him to close the deal.

"Hmm, maybe. It is a rather lofty order to find this book, and with my body double in place." he rambled off as he reached out his hand and placed it against Aurum's cheek instead. "What happened to your original plan of tricking our parents into letting us wed? That was what you had originally contrived was it not? We succeed in that, we won't need to run away at all" he told her slowly pulling his hand away from her cheek before picking up a fork. "Besides, you yourself said your parents don't need much to fool them" he chuckled before taking onto his food.
