6 - al-mi'raj3 - 14 damage, bloodied, marked by van

Van molests the mole while Fawks shakes off its psychic assault and tries to smack down the Kow. Then the snail he conveniently ignored nearly kills Mercutio all over again as two of its tentacles flick down on his still-prone, barely conscious form. He manages to dodge one, but the other cracks him right in the gut, and he barely manages to keep his senses through the blow.

"... why." he would mutter out, still reeling from being pummeled by that snail. And... Pelor's mercy, what was he COVERED with?!

Still, things needed to be done, and if he was going to die anyways, at least he'd try to make it so no one else would. That's what Pelor would have wanted, right?

IMMEDIATE REACTION

Using force of will and faith, he would force away his aggressor, so he would be able to do something to assist!

Brother Mercutio would slowly clamber to his feet, knowing that it was probably foolhardy to do so.

STANDARD ACTION

"Take this ya... Ya gods friggin' squirrel lover... MANTLE OF THE INFIDEL!!!" He would send forth radiant shackles to bind the Kow, of all things. With any luck, it would shuffle the Kow off this mortal plane.

immediate reaction- 5 poison damage to everyone in the aura and slide one square. Sorry mercutio, your god has forsaken you again.

then +12 -6 = +6 vs. Van's AC.

As Pelor shines his radiance down on his chosen son Mercutio at the prospect of delivering more wrath unto squirrels, the kow once again reminds you all that it's called a stench kow for a reason. The toxic fumes drive away the invoker and the goliath, however Mercutio isn't fast enough, and the kow achieves every man's fantasy: farting so bad it forces a recipient to pass out. But it isn't satisfied with that, it turns away from the immediate threats to itself and instead focuses on the warforged picking on the mole. With a bellow it charges again, but Pelor still thinks this beast is in with the squirrels, and the invoker's mantle on the bull suddenly pulls it down, driving it face-first into the dirt at Van's feet, embarrassing the kow throughly.

((This kow has been a severe disappointment.

The sting of Sora's words are too much for the kow, and with a final bellow of pain, it collapses on the ground. While it still stinks, as both cows and corpses are wont to do, it is no longer actively stinking, which you all have only recently realized was possible and which makes the act of breathing nearly enjoyable again.

you hit the snail, but i'm afraid you can't curse or damage the bunny, the beanstalks it's camped out under block line of sight. if you want to do anything different knowing that, let me know.

Colbertron turns his cameras on the Snail, but the animals have bigger concerns. Both rabbits turn their horns on Van, one going so far as to launch itself out of the cluster of beanstalks, bound over the enormous snail, and sail past the knoll to stab at the warden. However, both of them find that nature is on the warforged's side, and can not land a blow. The mole waves its claws rather ineffectively at the warforged, who has a vague sensation of something scraping on his head. Then all three of the creatures dig into the dirt like their lives depend on it, which is probably true. Only the two al-mi'rajes surface, however.

Fawks retrieves a potion his Potion of Healing and chugs it back like fine Dwarven Spirits and slowly approaches the snail.

"Come here snaily! You won't be fit for escargot when I'm done with you."

((Is the -2 to attacks gone now that the Kow is dead, or is this a -2 from a new source?))

The Kow came streaming at Van, but suddenly nature had turned to his side, somewhere during his furious sorta-kinda-vengeance. The smelly beast missed him a second time, burying its head into the ground and fell under barrage of his allies. The rabbits and mole likewise all failed to strike the, apparently, suddenly formidable warforged, and they took off scared in every direction.

The formation was broken! Now was the time to charge and shatter them before they could reform!

With a sudden surge of natural grace Vanguard skirted the edges of the molehill without slowing, rushing full speed around and next to the rabbit that had gone so far out of its way to attack him. The creature's skillful retreat didn't seem to have saved it... and then he spun and lashed out with thorns and spike at the other instead, attempting to drag the injured rabbit over before marking them again.

He was in reach of the snail and hadn't marked it, but he'd trust that one to Fawks.
