  That is how I'm feeling right now. I've got a resident who's been sitting in the lobby talking repeatedly for the past half hour or so despite me telling him several times I am trying to work and can not talk.

[Ricxs finishing telling the story about how he was cursed into a tiefling form and how his father essentially said he wouldn't be able to keep the family name if he went through with being with the person he was in love with, and Ricxs not having any interest in being a "king."]
"While I can't say I know exactly how you feel," said Shanairra, after a moment of silence. "I do understand where you are coming from."
"You do?" asked Ricxs, drunkenly turning his head to look at her.
"As you know, I'm a cleric of the Wildmother. In fact, I come from a whole line of clerics on my mother's side," she replied, before looking down at her drink pensively. "While I may be good at what I do and enjoy the work I've done, there's a part of me that questions if it's truly what I'm meant to do. Am I good at what I do because of natural talents and this is what I truly am meant to do? Or am I good at it because of being constantly in the presence of the clerics and the work they do, and thus my true duty has been suppressed?"
"If you weren't a cleric, what would you do?"
"I'm not entirely sure," she replied. "I suppose that's what this journey I've been on is partially about. Being able to find out who I am... truly am, not what my family and community have said I am to be. Already I have begun to discover more of where I stand in terms of spirituality. I suppose you could say I'm stepping away from the temple ideology of worship and returning to the way it used to be, being in nature itself. While I am excited to be myself, there's still a part of me that worries about how my family and community will react when they learn of what I've done since leaving."
"Do you think they will be accepting?"
"My parents will be. At least they will understand where I'm coming from and will support me to the best they can or feel comfortable doing. Extended family and the community?" Shanairra shrugged. "I don't fully know."
