@Edward,
I like how you tried matching the colors together, good work. The only thing that detracts is the pole/weapon that he is holding. My eyes are more drawn to that than the rest of the avatar. 9/10

I'd almost say the books make it look crowded, but really their brighter colors do well to complement against the lighter colors of your avi.
