 What I love is that I ended up using a similar attack plan during the final boss battle as I did for the prior one-shot I played as Shanairra. Last time I did a combo attack of Spiritual Weapon with Sacred Flame. This time? I had my Spiritual Guardians around me to help attack the smaller "henchmen" creatures, had my Spiritual Weapon hovering over the bad guy to whack them with, and then sent Guiding Bolt. Bam, bam, bam!

Definitely surprised our DM when I made such a big hit with that combo.
I felt a bit bad though since I was familiar with the character she was using as our bad guy. It was the first of her Rainbow Tiefling collection. So, there's a part of me - me, as myself, not my character - that is glad they were about to get away, so there can be more stories featuring them. whee

Just a few more hours and I'm off from work. Then I'll be heading up to my parents' place, so Dad can look at my car because I'm losing coolant majorly recently.

With tomorrow being a holiday, I'm not sure what all I'm going to do today since most of my tasks I don't have to do. And I've already done the ones I could do. whee

So... yesterday I went up to my parents' place, so I could have Dad take a look at my car because I noticed I was losing coolant really fast the past few days. While the coolant issue wasn't happening while he was looking at it yesterday, my car decided to crap out in other ways. So... my car is at my parents' place while my Dad does some tune up on it and my Mom is being my transport to and from work today. *sighs* Not what I was expecting to happen when I went there.
