I'm excited! I will get to do another D&D one shot with some other mods from my friend's Twitch stream. Thus meaning I get to bring my wood elf cleric/druid into a game again. And since she's leveling up again, she'll finally be at the multiclassing stage. Planning on having her as Cleric Level 5, Druid Level 2.

And I'll officially be able to set up an account with D&D Beyond as a result. I never did it before because prior one shots were just in person with pencil/paper set ups. But it looks like with this group, we're going to use DDB to organize everything for this "campaign." biggrin

Probably will make it easier to figure out how spells I should be selecting and how it affects on the stats for her. Especially since with my particular deity, I already was dipping into Druid aspects... so it gets a bit confusing.

And I also finally determined which druid Circle I wanted my girl to be in. I never really put much thought on that originally... but as her story has slowly unfolded with these various one-shots, it's become more clear.
I'm thinking of doing Circle of Shepherds. Since she's wanted to become closer to the nature aspect of her religion than the spiritual worship, and has always had an affinity towards animals (in comparison to humans), I feel this is a great choice for her.

Plus I've always considered her having a unique connection with the fey realm - either feywild itself or the creatures who reside there - this Circle is perfect for her.
Plus the original deity I selected for her before switching to Wildmother, the Unicorn was considered their animal totem. For the Circle of the Shepherd, there's a feature called Spirit Totem and one of the animals is an Unicorn. So... that just seems suiting to keep making callbacks to the original deity as I've done with some of her other aspects.

Despite the item being a bit OP, our DM for the one-shot has approved my character having the staff. It was the only magical rare item I was seeing listed that seemed to suit her, so I'm glad it'll work out. If anything, it's more of an aesthetic item for me than something I'll probably actively use aside from two features - thorn wall and being able to transform the staff into a tree.

*sighs* I'm so worn out. Not sure if it's just because of lack of sleep... or if I'm just mentally drained from all of the shenanigans that's sporadically happened over the past couple days.
And this time around, today isn't my "Friday." I will be covering for my co-worker tomorrow.

My back is starting to hurt too. The way this desk is set up always makes me either hunch over or I have to slouch down in the chair to feel comfortable for a period of time.
Having to get up every so often to let residents in isn't helping either.

So, it sounds like the one shot will be taking place in Waterdeep, along the Sword Coast.
I think the best way for bringing my character into the area is having her make a stop at the Shrines of Nature, specifically the temple "Lady's Hands." Funny enough it looks like in this particular setting, the temple is for Mieliekki - the original goddess I had my wood elf follow before I changed her to the Wildmother. They're both equivalents to each other, so it should work fine.

Since our characters will be meeting in or near a tavern... depending on the time of day our initial meeting occurs... Shanairra could be going to the tavern after visiting the Shrines of Nature since it looks like they close the gates to guests at night.
