The flurry was glad to have Raja around - it was able to comfortably stay out of it's ball with her around. "R-r-rye!" it mewled quietly, nestled lightly on the Wispard's back. The flurry still couldn't communicate very well, but apparently was trying to share a name it associated with itself.
"You didn't try fast enough." Fynx snapped at Atona, huffing and crossing her arms over her chest. It seemed she wasn't going to be needed to help Isis out herself, as an odd, tough-looking guy swept in to take care of the little cretin of a dragon. And the Lucario would be right to assume most of the irritation was from the prior conversation. The Delphox and her trainer were both relieved that the bite wasn't too bad.
Rose watched the man in wonder as he seemed to tame the little deino. It was like a magic show! She was probably easily the most impressed and wowed spectator, at least of this group. "Whoa! So cool!" she commented. "Bye Dragon Whisperer!" Rose smiled when the man took his leave. The red head turned back to her friends, watching as Nova healed Isis' bite. And it disappeared! She had no idea pokemon could heal people like that!
Blaze gave a small bark as suddenly, a blue sylveon ran up to Isis, jumping on her. Not even a moment after, a girl had snuck up behind Isis. Before Rose could even react, there was a flash as one of her pokemon let themselves out. Gina appeared, almost as if summoned by the presence of another sylveon. "Hi there!" the silvery sylveon yipped a greeting to the other, tail wagging. She hadn't had many chances to meet other sylveon. Actually, she couldn't even remember if she had met any others. This one was sporting a pretty blue coat. "Heh, i guess Gina wanted to come out to say hi, too." Rose commented with a light chuckle. Was this new girl a friend of Isis'? It certainly seemed like it. Unless the girl was mistaking the blond for someone else, that was a very friendly greeting. A lot like how she'd greet Marx, Shenaiya or Alexandra if she came across them in her travels. Fynx moved closer to rose, looking at the newcomer.

The Dragon whisper had just left and while he seemed like a pretty neat character. However it had been quite a while since Gio had had this much public interaction with people so he wasn't quite ready to leave yet. Plus something in his gut told him it wasn't safe to travel alone right now in this monstrous city.
Seemingly on cue just as quickly someone else had shown up. This time it seemed like a friend of Isis's, well another one at least. He was more than sure based on her reputable name she had a great many group of friends whom were all over the place in every region. Then of course Rose seemed to have a many group of friends as well. Zero on the other hand Gio had just met and he wasn't very sure about him, but since he was friends with those two most likely it was the same situation. But this new Trainer had a Fairy Type Pokemon and he wasn't the biggest fan of the Fairy's. After all he could barely stand Fey's Mawile and it was probably only because the Pokemon was half Steel. He suddenly found himself speaking again. "Hey Rose," that was probably the first sentence he had ever started without really thinking to the red head, "Isn't there a famous treat that this City is famous for?" no thought, of course there was though he used to live here. Still though he supposed it helped with the act he was putting up about it.

✿ ❀ Isis nodded appreciatively as the gardevoir finished healing her hand, warning her of the numbing side effect. She flexed the healed hand, testing it for numbness. At first she couldn't feel very much but eventually there were a few pins and needles as she regained feeling. Vince had taken to the deino, and as irritated as Isis was with the dragon, she was glad at least that it was able to find a good home with the other trainer, whom Rose seemed quite awed by. Then again the redhead was pretty easy to impress. Isis chuckled as her awe shifted from Vince's little dragon taming act to Nova's magical healing one with the same childish and innocent expression on her face. It was pretty cute. Atona glared at Fynx as she insisted that he wasn't fast enough. "You say that now, but I'd like to see you try and stop her. I swear, Isis is talentedly super fast at being wrong." Atona huffed. He would know, he'd dealt with Isis for two timelines. Raja glanced to Rose's flurry as it spoke up in a shivering purr. "What's that little one? Rye? Is that your name...?" She asked curiously.
Amidst all of the chaos, Isis had no idea that she'd received a confirmation text from Dumuzi, or that she was currently looking for her in the streets of Lumiose, but Isis was going to find out quite soon, because suddenly a powder blue blur charged at her and practically jumped into her arms, licking her face. Isis was rather stunned, but laughed as her face was licked, wondering what pokemon liked her so much. When the shiny sylveon finally settled down and sat patiently on the walkway, Isis gathered her bearings, giggling and wiping her face to get a look at who her "attacker" had been. "Niamh!~" She said happily, bending down to pet the fairy type, but before she could, she was jumped on from behind, and Isis had a pretty good idea who had done it. Hearing Dumuzi's voice asking her to guess who only confirmed it. "Du!~ You made it!" Isis squealed, turning to give her friend a proper hug, chuckling as Zero asked if she was a friend of hers. "Heehee~ Yeah, everyone, this is Dumuzi. I asked her to join us on our shopping spree." Isis confirmed happily.
Gina seemed to notice the other sylveon in their presence and came out to greet her. Isis chuckled at the reaction. "Well, if we're getting a shiny sylveon group together, then I guess I should let Nymph join the party~" Isis suggested with a smile, reaching into her bag and tapping one of the pokeballs within to release her own pastel colored sylveon from within. Nymph blinked and stuck close to Isis, shrinking back fearfully at al the strange sounds and smells. "Oh.... Sorry Nymph... " Isis apologized. "Du, Niamh, Rose, Gina, this is Nymph, my sylveon. I got all excited to get her in the mix but... She's blind, so the city is a bit much for her to take in at once." Isis frowned, stroking the fairy's fur soothingly. "Perhaps I may be of assistance....?" Atona offered. "Huh? What do you mean Atona...?" Isis asked curiously. "I can use my psychic powers to be her eyes, so to speak. I fear that actually sharing my vision would send her into shock, so I would keep our link narrowed down to my aura sensing. That way it's more of a feeling of the shapes around her, and all of the sights don't overwhelm her, but even so, it would help make more sense of the chaos around her." Isis looked thoughtfully down to Nymph. "Well, that's up to her. Nymph, what do you think...?" Isis asked brightly. "S...Syl...?" ('You mean... I could see?') She asked curiously, though it was a french pokemon dialect, Atona was able to translate via his psychic powers and nod in confirmation. "Syl....Veon." ('I suppose... I would like to try.') She said hesitantly. With her consent, Atona closed his eyes, establishing a link between their minds, and slowly, he allowed her to see auras that he could sense around them. They were rather dull outlines shimmering faintly with a strange light. Telepathically he asked if she had adjusted. Once she had, he opened his eyes. It took a lot of concentration to keep her vision only connected to aura, and not allow his sight to leak in to what she saw, but he could manage. The sylveon, for once in her life was able to look directly at something, knowing exactly where it was and where to look. It was shocking for her, but a good kind of shock. "There, is that better?" Isis asked, petting Nymph's head. "Syl!~" She chirped happily. It was nice to see her so perky for once. Ever since Isis had known her, Nymph had been rather reserved and uncertain. ✿ ❀

Niamh was waiting patiently and prettily for her attention to come from Isis when her human came up from behind and gave her a hug. It was about then that a pokeball opened up and another Sylveon came out to greet her. Niamh’s tail wagged happily as she stood up and approached the other Sylveon excitedly. Hi! My human named me Niamh. I was named after a Fairy Princess!Niamh was quick to investigate Gina with her sense of smell.”You stink pretty! I’m going to be entered into Beauty contests, is your human going to put you in Pokemon contests too? Niamh was happy to be distracted with the prospect of a new friend, and the notion of meeting another Sylveon that was a funny colour like she was tickled her pink. Niamh pranced around in joy. So far she was enjoying herself and she had only just met up with these people. Now, if only her human was done with Isis so that she could get her pets…
When Dumuzi and Isis wrapped up the hug, she turned around and faced everyone with a bit of a shy smile. Admittedly she wasn’t sure if she left an odd impression or not with these people already. Though she did have a brief introduction from Isis, Du decided to elaborate. ”It’s nice to meet you all. I’m Dumuzi and I met Isis at the last Tanabata festival. I’m trying to be a Pokemon Coordinator, and I’m almost ready for my first show.” Du bowed politely in greeting to the others. She wasn’t sure if anyone else here was interested in Coordinating as well, but she figured that she would at least throw that out there and maybe break some ice so that people felt a little more relaxed and comfortable around Du –being the stranger of the group. Dumuzi looked around at all the Pokemon that had been attached to the group and she smile broadly. ”Oh wow… everyone has such strong looking pokemon.” Du paused and looked over at Nova and gave a bright smile. ”And beautiful too.” Du looked over at Niamh who looked to be making friends with another Sylveon and her eyes lit up, when Isis let her own Sylveon out, Du couldn’t hold back her squee of delight. Oh my god! So many Syvleon!! It was all Du could do to stop herself from gathering up all of the Syvleon and snuggling them. When Isis introduced her to Nymph and told her that she was blind, Du squatted down and offered her hand out gently for the blind pokemon to get familiar with her scent. She didn’t know if it would help the blind pokemon feel at ease, but maybe offering a gentle hand would make a little bit of difference for Nymph. Atona came to the rescue though and apparently he could help Nymph get some level of sight back so that she could at least navigate. Du kept her and offered to the Sylveon while offering the other hand to Gina so that she could get a smell before Du attempted to give her some gentle affection that Niamh was demanding from Isis not long ago. ”Wow Atona, you’re really amazing. I had no idea that you could do something like that. Guess it just goes to show how little I still know about pokemon, huh?” Du wasn’t going to beat herself up over such a thing, but it was still a reminder about how much she was new to the actual world of Pokemon and what they could do.
Niamh was practically in the face of poor Nymph already, eagerly getting her smell and hoping to make another friend. But, there was something wrong with this one? Her eyes weren’t working? That was strange… she should go and get a new pair if they were broken or something, shouldn’t she? Oh well. Not that it seemed to matter too much seeing as the funny smelling tin fighter gave her some sort of quick fix for her sight.”Oh~ If you have trouble seeing, I can help make sure you don’t bump into things! I use my ribbons to lead you around if you need it.” Niamh didn’t want her new friend to be left behind from all the fun! That wouldn’t make her a very good friend if she did that.

Just as it seemed things were finally calming down, the group had yet another new arrival appear. First Isis was assaulted by an azure Sylveon, licking excitedly at her face, before her apparent trainer appeared on the blond's back. Isis was quick to give an introduction then, explaining she'd invited the girl to join them. Zero chuckled lightly, before he spoke, "You should probably stop pulling people into this group, Isis. Keep going and we might not be able to all fit in any stores." As he joked, he turned to Dumuzi, who'd taken to introducing herself.
That light smile Zero had quickly turned into a grimace as she mentioned the Tanabata, his own experiences with the place being far more negative than the rest's. He turned to Nova when she mentioned being a coordinator, trying his best to keep his word and not seem too depressed. "...I see," He continued, shifting his gaze back to Du as he managed to get back to a neutral expression. "You're the one Isis was talking about then? The one that wanted to talk with Machina or something?" Staying in good spirits seemed to be a harder task than he would've thought. Still, Nova was at his side, and offered some level of assistance by letting those memories fade back quickly, smiling and almost giggling to Du when she noted the beauty of the Gardevoir.
"Thank you, that's always nice to hear~" Zero couldn't help but laugh at her response, feeling his spirits getting back to what they were a moment ago. By that point however, everyone's attention turned to Atona, as he quite literally gave sight to the blind. Or at least, to some degree, allowing Nymph to view the world through aura like him. It was rather fascinating to watch, he'd only really seen the Sylveon out of her ball at the beginning of his journey, but now she did have some level of vision, as well as some... encouragement, from Du's fairy-type. Zero couldn't help but take a step back, half-worried that a look at his own aura might startle the poor eeveelution.

"Hmph." Fynx huffed, not having anything to say, despite feeling like she could have stopped the dumb little deino from biting Isis. Instead, she moved on to observing as a new person joined the group. It was the first time the Delphox had met someone that was 'mismatched'- they looked like a girl, but she could sense that - at least biologically - that wasn't likely true. Fynx didn't bother commenting on it, though, but was quite curious. She didn't know that a boy could be so... pretty.
The flurry purred, rubbing up against Raja's cool fur. "R-r-rye!" it chirred affirmatively. Rye was certainly quite cozy against Raja, purring up a storm. He watched on as another person joined the group, and more pokemon appeared. Three of them looked the same, yet... different. All the colors! As tempted as he was to go play with the ribbons, he stayed close to Raja.
Rose was more than happy to meet the new girl that had joined the group. "Hi!~ It's nice to meet you, Dumuzi! I'm Rose! And this is Fynx, Blaze, Gina and... um... Flurry? I'm sorry, i don't have a nickname for it yet... heh." the red head blurted out a greeting and introduction happily, motioning to each of her pokemon as she introduced them properly. It was nice to meet another person that was interested in Coordinating. "Hey! Maybe we can be Coordinating buddies when I get the chance to try it out!" she smiled. She wouldn't say no to making more friends.
Isis had a Sylveon too, it seemed. It was pretty and pink, but also blind? Rose didn't know that pokemon could be blind- well, more that she had never thought of it. It seemed Atona had a fix for it. Pokemon sure are magical! Before Rose could come up with a comment, she found that Gio was questioning her about the treat in Lumiose. "Oh! Lumiose Gallete? It's like this thin little pie thing. They are pretty popular. I like my mom's better, though." Rose responded to Gio after a bit of thought.
"Show off..." Fynx muttered under her breath after Atona had made it so that Nymph could 'see' with his aura power. Gina was ecstatic about meeting not one, but two other Sylveon. The silvery Sylveon snorted a bit at Niamh's comment. 'Stink pretty'? "It's nice to meet you, Niamh. You've got a nice name~ I'm Gina!" she smiled, tail wagging. She tilted her head as she thought about contests. "Huh... I don't know... Maybe some day!" she commented. Then, she looked over to the Sylveon that Isis released. She was so pink, but seemed pretty shy. turned out that she was blind and all the noises were confusing to her, but Atona had stepped in to 'fix' that. Gina pranced a bit in excitement before edging closer to Nymph. "Yeah! I can help too, if you'd like!" the silvery fox cheered, coming up behind Niamh with her front paws on the blue sylveon's back.

✿ ❀ When Zero commented that she needed to stop inviting people to their shopping trip, Isis was tempted to comment on how Leon wasn't coming so he didn't need to worry, but.... She knew a comment like that wouldn't go over well, even if she meant it in a teasing way. The feelings were just too raw still unfortunately, so she held her tongue and instead chuckled with a sheepish nod. "This is the last one, I promise." She insisted, introducing Du to the group. She nodded along in agreement with Du's further explanation, though she didn't know that Du was almost ready for her first show. "Really? That's great!~" Isis gasped, chuckling a bit as Du finally got a good look at their little group and realized that they were all seasoned trainers, given that they had such strong pokemon, noting Nova's beauty in particular, which the mega gardevoir appreciated. Zero seemed to recognize her though, since Isis had been mentioning a new friend that was getting into contests. "Yes! This is the person I was mentioning. Machina's future protégée~" Isis giggled, clapping her hands excitedly. How she loved providing connections for little contest enthusiasts in the making. Rose greeted Dumuzi happily, introducing her pokemon, though she paused a moment when she got to her flurry, realizing that she hadn't named it yet. Thankfully Raja had an answer for that. "Rose, your flurry's name is Rye." Raja informed her happily what information she had gleaned from the little wisp in their brief conversation.
Seeing all the Sylveon out though, Isis wanted to introduce her own, though the crowded city and a blind sylveon didn't mesh very well, so Atona offered to help, that way the three fairies could interact and play. Dumuzi seemed impressed, though Fynx wasn't. Atona resisted the urge to smirk at her remark. "Jealous much?" He suggested telepathically to her specifically before nodding appreciatively at Dumuzi's praise. "Thank you, but you give me too much credit. Aura alone is not capable of such a feat. I'm using psychic to link my sense of aura to her mind, but I won't be able to keep it up for long periods of time, it's quite the mental exercise..." Atona insisted. If they could just share vision, it wouldn't be as much of a strain, but to filter his sight out from hers and only stream his sense of aura to her mind specifically took a lot more effort. Atona had also noted Zero's fear in backing away slightly from the fairy, and for a moment, narrowed his telepathy to Zero specifically to speak in an aside. "You don't need to worry about that. She can't sense your feelings, only your presence, and visually, she's never seen anything before in her life, so she wouldn't know that your aura is.... Out of sorts." Out of sorts was a bit of a euphemism, but Atona wasn't going to be blunt. Zero knew, or he wouldn't have stepped back in worry like he had.
Isis got a curious look on her face as Rose and Gio talked about something called a lumiose gallete. "Oooh..... That sounds yummy... It may not be your mom's, but I still want to try it! Where can we get one?" Isis asked, and Atona looked highly unamused. They just ate, couldn't the blond think of something other than food for at least a few minutes? Apparently not. Nymph was a bit taken aback by the offers to help from the other two sylveon, but she appreciated it, smiling and entwining her ribbons with theirs happily. Sylveon~ ('Merci mes amis~') She giggled, tail wagging happily, though she glanced to Atona with an even bigger smile, clearly appreciative of his temporary gift. Atona gave a weak smile in return, watching the three fairies with a heavy heart, and for a moment, feelings and memories slipped through the cracks of his mental wall. As a lucario, much younger, he sat alone in a grass covered field with a wooden staff in hand, watching in the distance for any encroachers looking to enter the forest he guarded. Another scene in a wooded area, a riolu, eevee, pichu, and magby tugged at his arms and climbed on his back while a sylveon simply laughed at Atona's misfortune. Another memory, the children were asleep, and Atona sat with a sylveon, gardevoir, and a mismagius, making light conversation. then there was a massive fire, burning, choking, smothering everything around him. Atona forced the memories to the back of his troubled mind once again. It was hard to keep his wall up when he was handling so many things mentally. ✿ ❀

Du smiled towards Zero and nodded after Isis explained that she was going to be a little Machina’s future protégée. The words made her blush a little bit, and a finger came to the side of her cheek to scratch lightly. ”I wanted to make my own costumes for the contest, I got a pretty solid idea for about three of the categories but I’m a little stuck on the other two. Isis suggested that I meet with Machina and we could brainstorm some ideas. The thought of being able to use a sewing machine instead of doing everything by hand sounds marvelous too.” Yes, creating three different dresses, their accessories and what not all with needle and thread only would take an exasperating amount of time. A sewing machine and a few good tools would certainly make everything flow a heck of a lot easier. ”I’m not sure about being a protégée though.” Really, she wasn’t sure where Isis was getting that idea from. It wasn’t like she was a professional or anything like that, she could whip together a pretty solid look –don’t get her wrong – but she didn’t think that she was anything too special. Dumuzi’s attention was then pulled over to the red head who introduced herself and her pokemon. Du gave a big, bright grin when Rose suggested that they could be Contest buddies when she finally got around to it. ”I would love that! A few friendly rivals and friends in the contest arena would be a lot of fun! Remind me to give you my contact information and when you’re ready, or if you need some help with something, you can give me a call and I’ll do what I can to help out~!” This was proving to be a good trip for Dumuzi so far. She seemed to be one step closer to getting a place where she could work on her costumes and she found a contest buddy in the wings too! Things were starting to get really exciting for her.
Du watched for a few minutes as the pokemon all seemed to gather and mingle with each other very well, Niamh and Gina were helping Nymph along and Atona seemed to be distracted with Zero and Fynx. A conversation about some sort of pastry had distracted Isis’ thoughts for a moment and gave Dumuzi an opportunity to take the group in a little more. And once again, she seemed to be the baby of the group, the one with the least experience and nothing much to wow or impress people with. Still, she wouldn’t let it get her down too much. She had plenty of time to get those achievements and prove herself to be something special among her peers. But right now, she was much more interested in getting to know a lot of people and making some new friends. Du then linked her arm with Isis and pulled herself right up to her older sister figure. ”So what’s this I hear about us going shopping? Are you picking out something to help you research for you steamy romance novel your working on?” Du’s expression became rather mischievous. ”May I suggest something satin? And maybe just to diversify your portfolio… something leather? I assume that the first chapter of the book is finished?” Du gave Isis a cheeky wink as she waited for the group to go towards the shopping district and start their adventure. It was time for a change, Du thought, as now she was more accepting of herself and who she was inside and a new wardrobe would be a good place to start. Maybe she might even be able to slip away from the others with Isis for a moment to let her know about her big decision. She didn’t really want to let the others know that she wasn’t really what she was presenting as –more or less. It was awkward enough when Theo blurted it out in front of everyone at the dance, she really didn’t want to start potential friendships off on that sort of foot.
Granted, she was sure that the Psychic types around her already knew that she was really a boy, but that wasn’t something that she could stop, really. Hopefully, they understood her need for secrecy about the subject and let her keep this secret between herself and Isis, at least until she was ready to tell them herself. Granted, if the Psychic types did have questions for her, she would answer them to the best of her abilities, she didn’t want to be deceitful after all. Du’s smile became a little more soft and genuine at that moment and she closed her eyes. ”I think I need something cute to wear, my clothes are kind of getting worn out from all this traveling around. What do you think Isis, maybe a skirt or something for the summer days? Are the boys getting anything or is it just us girls who are going to have all the fun?”

Zero felt his spirits return to a level of amusement, as Isis proclaimed Du as Machina's new protegee. Apparently not the words their new addition would use, but the silver-haired trainer got a bit of laugh out of it anyway. "Well, either way, I'm sure Machina wouldn't mind having someone else other than Andreas around. He was actually with us a few minutes ago, but he headed on back to Sinnoh. If you want, I can give you his number if you want to contact him, just say me or Isis sent you and what you're needing and he could probably have an entire wardrobe whipped up before you even arrive." Though he joked, the trainer actually didn't have much doubt that his old friend could do just that, considering his previous track records.
However, after a moment, his attention was directed at the Sylveon Isis had, Atona giving the little eeveelution a level of sight for the first time in her life. Though, he couldn't help but step back, a gesture Atona caught and immediately crept into his head, assuring him that it'd be fine. Scratching his head, he silently nodded, though he wasn't able to really argue with his description. No one could really see it, save for Atona himself and any other Lucarios, but erratic likely couldn't describe how it appeared. A murky, deep purple that could neither rage endlessly, nor find itself calmed, too much weighing on him for him to be able to properly carry it as time went on.
But he kept up appearances, keeping himself at least forcing something of a smile to not bring down the mood as much as he could. Meanwhile, Nova took notice of the strain on Isis' Lucario, the task of separating his sight from his aura sensing to give Nymph sight. She rested a hand on his shoulder as his mental wall began to give way, offering some assistance in repairing them. "Fynx and I are the psychics here, Atona," She spoke, keeping her telepathy in a closed line between the three. "Let me help out a bit. If you just focus on the connection I can handle the filtration for you."
The Mega Gardevoir offered a soft smile for the Lucario, as, too at least a degree, she did have a good idea of what he was behind that gate. Her... unfortunate state during the Halloween Ball caused her powers to run rampant, the hidden part of her consciousness forced to observe the events that played out unwillingly having peered into every mind that was present. She'd managed to filter out most of it, block it in the lost corners of her own mind since... But whispers and echos still lingered on, as they were still very much present. Atona's mental barrier kept her from seeing everything while he too was possessed, but the glimpses he saw were... more than enough.
On the lighter note, Zero's attention was finally brought back to the rest of the group when Du mentioned something questionable. Very, questionable. "...I'm sorry, romance novel?" He gave both Du and Isis an odd look, which only got more questioning as the former suggested "satin and leather". "...Okay what did I miss after you left with Leon?"
Eventually however, the topic of conversation finally got back to moving on and getting back to the reason they'd gathered to begin with; the shopping. Zero hadn't actually thought about getting anything, but... considering one of the few shirts he had with him was was rather stained in blood... It'd probably be a good idea to pick up something or two for himself as well. "I think I might grab a few things for myself, but other than that I think it's mostly going to be you girls doing the shopping."

Rose tilted her head a bit as Raja informed her that her Flurry was named Rye. "Rye? That's so cute! I guess i don't have to name my flurry at all, then~" she smiled, then turned her attention back to Du. Yes! Another friendship! It would be great to have someone else to join her in coordinating. The more, the merrier! "Well, I can give you my info right now before we get distracted with shopping. Hee~ I've also got at least one other friend that is interested in trying coordinating, too! Maybe we'll all compete together someday!" The red head responded, prepared to give Du her contact info, and to put du's info into her holocaster.
She then answered Gio, and Isis seemed to be interested in the Lumiose Gallete. "We just ate, you really want to eat again so soon? Heh, we can probably pick one up between shopping. There's stands everywhere selling them." she giggled a bit. They were good, though. Rose still wasn't sure why Gio had asked about them, and it seemed she wasn't going to find out since he seemed about ready to leave after shopping had been mentioned. "You already have my number, Gio. I don't know about this Johto place, but maybe we'll bump into each other again." she commented. A lot of what Du was saying kind of flew over her head - the red haired girl was rather oblivious to the 'steamy romance novel' or the importance of satin or leather.
Gina happily accepted Nymph's ribbon with a ribbon of her own. "Wow! So frenchy~ I love the way you talk!" the silvery sylveon commented with a big smile. She herself had come from the region of Kanto, though she had traveled with Rose long enough to be familiar with the languages common in Kalos. Gina couldn't help but wonder if maybe Rose knew French, too. Maybe she'd have to bug Fynx to find out for her. The eeveelution just adored hearing the language spoken. Even when it was in poke-tongue, it sounded great!
Fynx's eyes narrowed at the telepathic comment Atona sent her. Jealous?!? Hmph. She huffed and turned her head away, nose in the air. Not that she'd admit it, but she was a bit jealous of all the attention Atona was garnering. Her bratty pouting didn't last long, however, her ears twitching as she caught on to the human conversation going on. "A steamy romance? Oh my~ I didn't know you'd take your journalism to the bed, Isis." Fynx commented playfully, a very vulpine-like smile on her muzzle. She wondered about this Leon guy, though she was certainly not the type to pry. "I think she might be more of a lacy ruffles type, don't you think, Du?" Fynx added, addressing the girly boy. The delphox meant it all in good fun, though - as apparent in her voice. Her trainer might not have a clue about what was being talked about, but that didn't mean that she didn't know a thing or two herself. Fynx was just... well, not really willing to have such conversations with Rose. The red head was just too preciously innocent, and she didn't want to be the one to explain that sort of thing to her trainer.
All fun aside, Fynx's attention swayed back to Atona as she couldn't help but feel his memories leaking out from behind that wall he usually held up. The Delphox didn't quite mean to snoop, but it was all so sudden that she glimpsed quite a lot of it. Feeling the pain attached, as well. It seemed that Nova had noticed the leak, too, offering up her ability - or fynx's - to help him out. The silver fox wanted to comment, but wasn't sure what to even say. It was a glimpse into the Lucario's past, and it seemed to have ended in tragedy. There wasn't really anything she could think of to say at the moment. However, she couldn't help but start to feel a bit more bad for the way she's been treating Atona - as if he was some unmovable stone to try to derive a reaction from. There was certainly a lot more to this old dog than she had assumed.
"... I'm sorry." she telepathed directly to Atona, "... for being a brat..." The delphox had shifted her head a bit to look at the Lucario from the corner of her eye. She really wanted to ask about his past, but just couldn't find the right words. Instead, she fell back to her more 'normal' behavior. "I'd offer to help you out, but I might just overwhelm you. Unless you are into that kind of thing~" she commented with a bit of a smirk, though the usual tail swish that accompanied such comments was absent.

✿ ❀Dumuzi's denial on being a protégée only encouraged Isis. "Oh don't be so modest. I'm sure you do lovely work~" She insisted with a big encouraging grin, nodding as Zero insisted that Machina wouldn't mind having someone else around. Though she'd nearly forgotten that he had been in the area just a moment ago, at least until Zero pointed out that she'd just missed him. "Oh yeah.... Well damn, I wonder if it's too late to call him back over? Or I guess we could just give you his number too." Isis shrugged, pulling out her Xtransciever. By then she finally saw Dumuzi's response and snorted. A bit late for that now wasn't it? "Hey Zero, could you give me their numbers too? I just realized I don't have them....." Isis asked. It was then that Gio mentioned that he needed to get going to train more for the league. "Aw, no time to shop till you drop? Well alright, yeah I can understand heh~" Isis chuckled, offering up her number in exchange for his. "Good luck on your journey Gio!~" She grinned. It was always nice to meet a fan. In the meantime, it seemed like Du was getting along rather well with all of her friends, which was great to see. "I didn't know you were interested in contests Rose~" The blonde was so happy to see everyone getting into contests, it almost made her want to join in too... Now that she thought about it actually, there were a few pokemon that she had in mind that could work well in the contest world.
Isis chuckled a bit sheepishly though as Rose pointed out that she seemed really interested in more food so soon after they'd just eaten. "Aheh.... Yeah I guess I am pretty full... I just like sweets so...." Dumuzi on the other hand was far more interested in shopping, pushing the topic and, much to Isis' dismay, the imaginary steamy romance novel that she insisted Isis was writing. A jolt went up Isis' spine as Dumuzi brought it up, and her cheeks flushed a bright pink as the questions began to flood in. "No no no no...! There's no--" Isis was dying of embarrassment. She looked to Zero as he questioned what he had missed after she'd left with Leon. "Nothing! Just normal date stuff! Nothing happened! Oh my Arceus!" She buried her face in her hands. Fynx's comments didn't help as muffled screams began to emit from the poor embarrassed blond.
Suddenly Isis straightened up with an odd uncomfortable smile, determined to change the subject before it got any more out of hand. "You know what?! I need a new bag, since that deino ripped mine up. I think that should be priority number one. Rose do you know a good bag store?! Yes? Great let's go!" Isis hurried, grabbing the redhead's arm and moving off in a random direction to get things moving off topic. Dumuzi granted the reprieve, at least for the moment as she asked Isis' opinion on her own traveling clothes. "Oh my gosh, you would look super cute in a summer dress~ I'm thinking something with sunflowers or daisies would be darling! Though I think a skirt would work too, or maybe high waisted shorts? Ooh!~ With those cute buttons too!" Isis babbled on happily.
As the trainers discussed shopping and the sylveon's followed suit with their ribbons intertwined, Atona moved slowly after the group. He was happy that Isis was enjoying herself, but Atona himself was suddenly looking rather worn. Nova voiced her concern, insisting that she and Fynx were the psychics, and that he should allow them to help. The lucario nodded hesitantly, no because he was to proud to accept help, or that he doubted Nova's abilities, but it simply took him a moment to register what she was saying. "Yes..... That would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Nova...." He nodded, allowing her to take over some of the mental burden. The relief was instantly noticeable, but it was not the biggest strain on his mind at the moment. Dealing with ghosts of his past was no easy task. He managed to bury them in the back of his mind once again, but the fact was they had resurfaced, and that alone was enough. The psychics had noticed, he didn't need psychic senses or aura to tell him that. The way Nova rested a reassuring hand on his shoulder, the way Fynx looked at him, a mixture of surprise and regret on her face....
He couldn't stand it.
Still, he knew better than to be angry at their sympathy. It was a natural reaction, given the things they had seen, but he still really wished they hadn't. When Fynx finally found her train of thought once again, she apologized to him directly, earning a pained simper from the mega lucario. "Please don't." Atona interrupted. "Your sympathy is appreciated but unnecessary, so I would prefer we just... Move on." He insisted, though as she suggested helping him out would just overwhelm him, he gave a short laugh. "See, you say that as a joke, but it's probably true on multiple levels...." He bemoaned, closing his eyes and rubbing his face with a paw to massage his tired expression.
