He wasn't even aware he was holding his breath. The boy silently exhaled and shyly watched and listened to the two converse. Kazumi stood up and Higure followed suit. She wanted to spend time to train with Viktor. Higure felt shut down but accepted that she had a new friend to train with. The ten year old walked over to the drawer sets and decided to train alot. From the drawers, Higure pulled out a wind scroll, a taijutsu scroll, a water scroll and a genjutsu scroll. From there the boy proceeded to a private training room so he wouldn't get laughed at.
Higure opened up the scroll with wind techniques. He looked down at the first technique. Wind clone. Higure slid his headband from his forehead, off of his head and onto a bench. It would only get in his way as he trained. Higure looked down at the scroll and read over all of the instructions. He needed to make a simple seal to do it. Higure made the seal and focused his chakra. A poof and there was a clone of him. Higure smiled and punched it lightly. [Kaze Bunshin [ Wind Clone ] 1/1 Completed!]
Higure closed his eyes as his clone dispersed. He closed the wind scroll and set it off for the genjutsu scroll. The boy opened that and scanned the first couple of genjutsu. He saw one that looked useful. Higure made a few handseals and cast the genjutsu on himself. After he did so, Higure looked around and walked forward towards the farthest from him. The boy walked and the wall didn't seem any closer until - bam! He walked straight into it. [Okuyuki Katawa [ Depth Distortion ] 1/1 Completed!]
Higure wiped the tears from his eyes and decided he should move onto Taijutsu before he really began crying. The child released the jutsu on himself and rolled up the scroll. Onwards to the next thing. Higure opened a scroll titled 'Sazanami.' Inside were techniques based on turning the opponents momentum against themselves. Thinking this would be good for him, Higure got into the first stance, Footing One. Once he was sure he had it, Higure move on. [Footing One 1/1 Completed!]
Higure needed a partner for this one but his imagination would do just fine for now. His pretend adversary was all set and ready to go. Higure got into the footing he had just learned and was ready to go. His imaginary opponent threw his fist at him but Higure deflected it with ease. Not satisfied, he moved to a attack dummy. He set it to a forward jab and got into footing one. The machine let out it's quick jab. Higure brought his arm up to deflect it and knocked it off course. [Parry 1/1 Completed!]
After finishing with the dummy, Higure decided to try another technique, another footing stance. Higure glanced at the diagrams of this stance. Higure thought to himself easy enough. The boy spread his legs shoulder length apart and crouched low, trying to sit on this imaginary bench. Higure felt silly for a training purpose. Not one he'd use in battle. Higure looked into the scroll one last time and looked at new technique. There was a medium bell and a gong in his small training room. Higure figured with this next technique, either would work. It was called Bell Ring so the boy would be using the bell. The bell was quite large and just hanging in the corner. Higure walked up to it and entered his Horse Stance. He took a deep breath and released it before striking the bell's shell with his palm, producing a nice ring. [Bell Ring 1/1 Completed!]
Now that he knew the basics of Sazanami, Higure would return to Ninjutsu. The boy opened the scroll and scanned through it until he saw a technique he wanted to learn. This one seemed to be more easier said than done. Higure concentrated on the air around him as the scroll said. Next to the dummy was where he wanted the air to burst. Concentrating harder, a loud bang behind him sent him towards the ground. [1/3]
Higure wiped the tears welling in his eyes away and stood up. It was his fault for not getting it right, not the jutsu's. Higure looked at the dummy and frowned. He didn't like it. He focused his chakra on the air around it again. Higure began to condense the chakra on the pocket of air. The air suddenly burst between him and the dummy. The boy got it wrong again but he was getting closer to getting it just right. [2/3]
The boy focused. The air was thick with his chakra. Higure knew he had it this time. He was good at getting his distance judging from this technique. Focusing a bit more, right next to the dummy was his target. He converged his chakra on the air beside the dummy, squeezing the air until it burst, knocking the training dummy over. Higure smiled and sat down, satisfied that he had learned this technique. [Happa Shinkuutai [ Bursting Air Pockets ] 3/3 Completed!]
Higure closed the wind scroll and put it off to the side. He opened the water scroll and looked inside of it. Currently, a few techniques stood out to the small boy. He looked around the sink and saw a sink off to the corner. He filled it with water and looked into it. It was completely clear, just what he wanted. Higure placed his hand on the surface of the water and injected some chakra into it. The surface changed and became reflective. [Mizu Kagami no Jutsu [ Water Mirror Technique ] 1/1 Completed!]
Moving on to the next technique in the scroll that he wanted to learn, the sink was to be used again. Higure formed the water with his chakra into a katana made of water. He picked it up and walked over to dummy, righting it back in it's place. Higure looked at it and swund the water sword at it. The water sword left a suitable gash in the chest of the dummy. Higure ended the jutsu and the water fell to the floor. [Mizu no Yaiba [ Water Sword ] 1/1 Completed!]
Higure panted, worn out from all the training he had done. He dropped down to the floor and lied on his back staring up at the ceiling. Higure stared at the ceiling for a while before deciding to go out and see how his sister was doing. He put on his headband, gathered the scrolls and brought them out of the room, placing them in their respective drawers before sitting against a wall and watching Viktor and Kazumi go about their training.

"Hey Higure," Viktor calls out as the young boy walks away. He winks at the kid, "don't you worry. I'll show you a few Sazanami moves later on. Maybe a bit of Hsing-I Pakua as well. That is, if you're interested in learning techniques from those styles," he chuckles a bit before turning to face Kazumi. "I feel kind of bad about stealing the kid's sister," he says as an explanation, before scratching the back of his head as he thinks of what he wanted to learn. He motions Kazumi to come with him to the eiseijutsu scrolls as he walks towards him, scratching the back of his head as he tries to decide what he wants to learn. There was so much, he wasn't entirely sure where to start. "Hmmmm... well what do you know about offensive eiseijutsu? I plan on focusing on that until I become a jounin, then turning the rest of my attention to actually healing. I figure being strong enough to ensure my comrades and I don't get hurt in the first place is better than waiting for them to get hurt so I can heal them." Viktor chuckles again, figuring that at the very least telling Kazumi he wanted to focus on offensive techniques narrowed their options down.
Aru walked into the Dojo to begin his training as a shinobi he walked in and let Nasuno slither off his body before he started.He would start off be training a some Bukijutsu techniques he wanted to learn. One that really caught his eye was the Santoryu school which called for a triple wielding technique but he would start off with single swords.
He laid his sword on one of the benches in the dojo and proceeded to grab a training sword and a practice dummy.He began by training with the sword in his left hand and striking."Hmm this should be easy enough" as he began striking at different paces.(1/6)
As he kept training he started wielding it in his right hand to get comfortable wielding in both hands if need be. He took various stances and hit from different angles at certain times he switched back and forth. afterwards he started to back step and duck.(2/6)
After awhile he decided that training would be a bit harder than he thought and decided to put more effort into it. As he swing his training sword from side to side fake dodge and rolling to get used to the movements he felt it get a bit smoother.After practicing holding the sword with each hand he focused more on balance.(3/6)
He started off holding himself up with one leg trying not to sway while standing. Afterwards he began standing on the other leg focusing all his thoughts on balance.He looked over and saw Nasuno coiled on his sword the snake looked amuse.(4/6)
He than began a handstand to better focus his sense of directions.The blood rushing to his hand made him feel a tad dizzy as he switched hands. He rolled over back onto his feet and once again picked up the training sword.(5/6)
He once again started striking the dummy smashing the training sword against its head and torso. He quicken the pace as his arms began to tire and he continued to strike. he started to get a bit fancy with his sword workings as he continued to strike after another couple minutes of finalizing his training he was content with his progress(6/6):: Ittoryu::Complete

-----Hefting the staff in his hands, Wanryoku lifted it into his right hand and began to spin it across his palm and the back of his hand, showing no strain at doing so. Already he had mastered almost four of the stages. He was going to train more later, but for the moment he wanted a break. And to drink. But then the boy looked at him and explained the greatest, most traitorous, blasphemous words that could ever be spoken: that there was an age restriction to drinking. That it was not normal. He almost voided his bowels in shock! And it was a good thing he had not, for he was almost certain that the rebellious gas welling up within his lower body was not, strictly speaking, gas. But no! He would not allow this transgression to continue! The breath being wasted on such travesties would not go unpunished nor unheeded! Raising the staff above his head he twirled it, creating quite a vortex of air as the staff spun into a blur. Bringing it down with a crack, one hand resting on his hip like he was the authority on juvenile delinquency, Wanryoku took on a look that said he would brook no argument. "We will drink!"
----- But then he realized that there was something else said after the travesty-that-was-never-to-be-mentioned-again. "Oh, it is!" He spun it again, though slower, poking things with it tentatively. "It be good, and light. I hit and no suspect!" He seemed rather pleased at that thought, as if surprise and misdirection were just secondary funs for him. He gestured to Zangai with a smirk. "Shall we go place, then? Kazumi want drink, and funny to watch females drink!"

Kazumi waved off Viktor's concern as he voiced it, but appreciated it none the less as she followed him over to the shelves. She grinned rather deviously at Viktor as he mentioned offensive genjutsu, feeling confident in herself as she had recently trained in it. That same feeling was drastically increased by the fact that he allowed her to train him in the first place, and as a result she was bold enough to softly grasp his hand and lead him over to the combat dummies before releasing it. "Well, I will show you what I know and you may either practice it beside me or choose your own. I took what seemed to me to be the top five."
Kazumi approached the dummy but stayed a safe distance away, the air around her growing colder as she began to concentrate her chakra. It appeared in the form of snowflakes surrounding her right hand as she began to make signs slowly, each one just as vividly shown to Viktor. "This is the only ranged one that I know of," Kazumi explained as her body tensed, her arm arcing forward and a swirling chakra flying in an X shape towards the dummy. The chakra left behind visible burn marks, but nothing else visible to the eye as Kazumi blushed and scratched the back of her head, "Would've made anyone sick...I swear it..."
"The next one I'd suggest is easy enough," Kazumi said as she approached the dummy and grasped its shoulder slightly. Electrical chakra crackled through her hand, but she never released it as she knew that she could only do so much in so little time. Never the less, she turned around and showed each sign to Viktor before continuing on.
The next technique that Kazumi showed Viktor was the handsigns for the chakra scalpel. After making sure that she showed each of the hand signs properly, she moved on.
[1/3]"I thought I'd save the one you'd like to most for last, seeing as how you're taijutsu," Kazumi said with a wink as she faced the dummy once more. Crouching slightly into a fighting stance, she readied herself for the strike as she began to channel her chakra. Desiring to show off a little bit, a larger than normal amount of snowflakes appeared and engulfed her right hand entirely as she continued to make hand signs with the left.
[2/3]"I know that I'm probably trying to teach the expert on striking how to strike, but the closer the hit to the target's lungs, the better since Runge Suibou is better that way." Taking a small step forward, Kazumi channeled even more chakra into her now balled up fist as she visualized her strike. With the final adjustments to her chakra made, she punched up into the dummy's sternum.
[3/3] The dummy nearly disintegrated, exploding into some larger pieces of wood but mostly small splinters that made Kazumi thank her luck that she was nearly fully clothed as she jumped back instinctively. She was dumbstruck as the technique was far more powerful that she anticipated as she stood there blushing scarlet, each moment seeming like an hour before she snapped back to life after a few of them. She crossed her hands in front of her and looked over at Viktor, the pinkness not fading one bit as she smiled nervously at him, "Uh...your turn!" She then proceeded to bend over and crouch down to pick up the bigger pieces as she waited for him to train.

Aru stood up after relaxing and catching his breath once again he picked up the training sword the dummy he was using before hand had been broken in several places."Guess I need a new one" after getting a new he decided to train some ninjutsu 'first part to being a shinobi is being versatile...' he sat and focused his chakra to proper.
He read some provided scrolls and decided to try Shinkūken it would prove useful for future situations.He grabbed his real sword and unsheathe it and channeled his charka through his sword. He then swung and caused a blast of wind in a upward arc to form.(1/1)Shinkūken::Complete)
"Wow that was awesome im going to keep learning!" He vocalized as he picked up some more scrolls and continued to read "Toridashi Kaze no Jutsu?". He walked over and laid a kunai on the ground. Viktor yawns as he leans against the wall, arms crossed as he watches Kazumi demonstrate eiseijutsu for him. When she was done, of course, Gouwan was definitely looking good to him. I'll definitely be trying that out, probably not the one that made an X though. Sure it's a ranged attack but I have my Fuuton and Suiton elements for ranged attacks. When it's his turn, Viktor approaches another training dummy near the one that Kazumi had destroyed. He looks down at the remains of the poor dummy, then back up at Kazumi, "damn Kazumi. Look what you did to the poor thing," he jokes, laughing as he looks back at his dummy." So, Gouwan was pretty simple right? All he had to do was channel chakra into his fist. Yup, simple enough. Standing so that his legs are shoulders width apart, Viktor enters the Footing One stance of Sazanami since it seemed like he would be using that stance for a while now. Copying what Kazumi had done, he channels chakra into his fist just like her. He then punches the dummy in the exact same spot she had, the sternum. The effects were... good, but not quite as good as what Kazumi had done. Instead of reducing it to splinters, he punches the dummy clear across the entire room to crash into the wall, putting a huge dent in its sternum. Confused, he looks back at Kazumi, "that was weird. Definitely not as strong as what you had done," he mumbles, wondering what he could have done wrong."
Yawning softly, Suzume entered the academy/dojo, son in her arms as her loyal companion Cloud the German Shepherd followed in after her. She had said she wanted to get back to her duties as a shinobi... but she was ashamed to say she had put it off. With everything that was going on in her life, she was still wary of having her son Shin'ichi out of her sight. She knew sooner or later she'd have to get back to work, but how to start? Something easy, slow... it had struck her that she could attempt to get back to training, which was why she had come here of course.
There seemed to be others here who had the same idea to train. New faces she really could not recognize. How many people had she seen come and go from this place?
Walking along the edge of the room, she gazed over the different faces before she spotted someone that was different. A young boy that was off on the sidelines and watching. He was clearly a shinobi from the headband, perhaps he was taking a break? He looked young... Suzume continued on until she had reached him, walking along the edge of the room until she was close enough to be heard. "Waiting for someone to finish training?" she asked, her child resting in her arms as her canine companion stood next to her.

It was a place for many people to learn after all. They stopped close to him and he tensed up subconsciously. The words spoken sounded nice and gentle. Higure looked up timidly and saw a woman holding a baby and a dog.
Not wanting to come off as rude, the boy nodded slowly and pointed over to Kazumi. He also stood up and leaned against the wall. He was getting more and more nervous by the second. Higure kept his eyes on the ground, fidgeting his fingers and most importantly, body loose to run at a moment's notice. The woman didn't seem like trouble but Higure couldn't be too sure, just like with Viktor. He didn't know either so he was shying away from them. It wasn't hard to see that the boy was nervous. He almost seemed like a rabbit, watchful and ready to flee. Looking to where he was pointing, Suzume spotted Kazumi and had the feeling that they might possibly be related. "I see..." she replied, not moving to close the distance between them and figuring that it would be the best way to put the boy at ease. "It seems as if they're having fun. My name is Suzume Kinjo by the way." It was proper to introduce one's self after all. "The baby in my arms is my son Shin'ichi and this is Cloud." she said, motioning to the German Shepherd to indicate who Cloud was.
The dog closed the distance a bit, he sniffed the air before saying "Relax a bit, kid. You stress out and you'll go bald at a young age." Of course, this wasn't said to be mean, the joke was his attempt at lightening the mood.

The boy had seemed to relax... up until Cloud spoke. It seemed strange since talking animals were somewhat known, if only by people hearing of summons. Because of this attribute, humidity is a foreign concept to the Shinsetsu, and only the most extreme of heats will cause those within tsumetai's effect to break a sweat. Additionally, this consistent cold has weathered their skin and innards, providing an internal and external resistance to freezing temperatures. Although not exactly topical, it should be noted that thanks to their relaxing aura, the Shinsetsu are considered some of the most desirable lovers in the world.
