William thought that it was so easy to catch the pokemon. Probably due to jigglypuff being somewhat common pokemon and was low leveled. He was disappointed he didn't get to see the pokemon's temperament during battle. If it turned out to be troublesome, he feared he might ended up releasing it. Beside him, Beldum hovered, he was interested with the pokeball that now held the jigglypuff. He had helped his trainer captured the pokemon after all. The beldum made vibration in the air, a signal of his happy mood. It made William to put his hand on top of beldum head and petted him, despite the pokemon being a piece of metal. He wasn't sure the pokemon felt his touch either. A metal polish might have been a better choice. Beldum was pleased nonetheless for the gesture that he hummed briefly. "Let's return. I don't want the other to find nobody when they come back," William told the Beldum as he secured the pokeball into his belt. It was then that he noticed that he had filled all 6 spots, making him in full team. "six already?" William murmured out. He hadn't even gotten his first badge and already he had a full team of pokemon. Anymore pokemon and he would have to start switching his team.
"it's nothing," William said when he felt the beldum's gaze and started walking. He was careless, he had forgotten that grasses easily hid pokemon and no matter how he thought that the pokemon around here to be lower leveled compared to his, he's still weaker than his pokemon. William had stepped on an ekans's tail. The pokemon that was laying, instantly hissed toward him and struck. "W-Whaaaa!?" William only managed to let out a surprised word, before he registered the attack. it was too late by the time he started to dodge sideway. Beldum who was the only active pokemon was panicking when it saw his trainer was bitten. "get off!" William knew the ekans to be poisonous that he flailed his leg to make the ekans to let go. His action made ekans to clamped harder. "Beldum!!!!" William called out, but beldum was spooked out to see William panicking that he wouldn't listen to him. William gave up and turned to his other pokemon. "Mur! Mur! Wake up, confusion attack now!!!" He roughly shook the espurr that he was carrying. "Eeeeees!? Espaaaaa paaaa," Mur woke up with a start and being shook so hard made him dazed. "Stop shaking me!" Mur shouted to him, then asked when he saw William didn't look so well, "What are you waking me up for?"
"The ekans! use confusion, make it let go!" William shouted in answer, he did stop shaking Mur. He could feel liquid flowing down from the wound, it's bleeding and not to mention the poison that had entered his body. Mur saw William's condition and gasped. it's bad alright, the matter of being woken up forgotten. He quickly directed his confusion attack toward the ekans, it wasn't shot, instead direct assault to the mind, since the ekans was biting William, if he shot the attack, it would have ripped the ekans away forcefully that would hurt William too. The way it was, the ekans went limp and dropped to the ground unconscious. Psychic attack did wonder on poison type like ekans.
"Are you okay, Will?" Mur climbed to his shoulder when he asked him. He was rather pale from fright. Beldum had also returned to hover beside him, albeit in more distance than usual. He didn't know how to deal with surprise attack and let his trainer's panic to affect him. He felt that he had failed." I can walk, I needed to go to hospital to get antidote," William finally answered, not noticing the state of his Beldum. "We need to call Amber and Jasper first. Can I leave that to you?" William said to both of his pokemon."Leave it to us. We will get you back to the bench first," Mur replied, he won't leave Will to wait here, at least the place they were suppose to meet up in was safer.

Sable winced as Darren misinterpreted what she was saying. Granted, she didn't blame him, as she figured that was one way it could be taken, but still, it felt awkward that she made him worry more by incorrectly explaining her concern."Right now, no. It's not that much trouble while I'm awake and can keep track of my breathing,"she explained, then gave a light sigh."If a nightmare starts up, though, then that would most likely aggravate the problem. How much or little would depend on the specific nightmare."This was one thing she didn't like to be blunt about, but she didn't want to give Darren the wrong idea again."I doubt I'll be lucky enough to avoid any nightmares the next time I fall asleep, and given everything that happened it's most likely that whatever nightmare I do end up having will have something to do with suffocation. I don't like those odds."As reluctant as she was to explain things, Sable was glad it was only Darren in the room at the moment. She didn't think she'd be able to give him the full warning if Nurse Joy were around.
Eventually, the topic switched to how much sleep she had managed to get so far, and from there, whether she had woken up or not during that sleep. She cringed as Darren mentioned that she was brought to some fake recovery room and that she did wake up and act oddly for a little while."Y-yeah... Yeah, I remember... I just..."She winced as she thought how best to put things."...I didn't think it was actually... You know... Real..."Her cheeks turned pink as she tried to explain herself."...I honestly thought I was dead... I mean, I had no clue where you were. Last I knew, Jin was back at Pewter. I was cut off from most of my pokemon and couldn't let out the few that I still had on me..."Her shoulders slumped from where she was laying."...The last thing I expected was for someone to get me out of that mess... Or to see either of you again..."
With how many conflicting emotions she was feeling and how many surprises had been sprung on her, it was no surprise that part of her body finally decided that it couldn't take any more of what was going on. That part happened to be the teen's stomach, and after her quick request she forced herself to lean over the side of the bed and expel the contents of her stomach. Even though he hadn't been fast enough to catch all of it, Darren was at least able to get the teen a trash can so that the floor could be spared part of the onslaught of vomit. Between the pain she was still suffering from her incident with the litwick horde and the new bout of exhaustion brought upon her by the amount of heaving her body was trying to do, it was all she could do just to cling to the wastebin and keep it where it needed to be. She still managed it, though, and once things started settling down she held onto it a bit longer while Darren left to take care of the mess she had made.
Even though he claimed it was nothing to apologize for, Sable still felt she had to as Darren got her some water and took the trashbin from her. "Y-yeah, I know..."she groaned as she gingerly took the cup, then had to fight every impulse she had otherwise in order to sip at the contents of the cup. What she wanted to do was down the thing in one gulp, but she knew that was a bad idea for many reasons. For one thing, she wasn't just trying to quench thirst, she was trying to flush the remaining stomach acid off of the walls of her throat and the inside of her mouth. The bit that went up her nose, sadly, would just have to work its own way out. The other problem with quickly gulping down the water was that her stomach was still uneasy, so too much liquid too soon was apt to set off the spewing again. So, she carefully sipped at the water from where she was while watching Darren put a couple of paper towels over the puddle that Sable made.
Eventually, she felt well enough to roll back over so that she was once again laying down properly, although she didn't really want to lay on her back when her stomach was so uneasy. Still, trying to force herself upright would just make Darren worry more, so she suffered through the churning of her stomach while trying to go back to a more pleasant topic of conversation. That topic happened to be berry pots, which Jin had requested Darren get for her so that Sable might take up gardening."Well, he's not the only one that likes a tasty treat,"she replied lightheartedly when Darren made a verbal jab about her snack budget concerns. They both laughed for a bit, which irritated her stomach more and was part of what prompted her to ask for help getting her bed adjusted. The other part, though, was that Darren wanted to share his haul with her and she couldn't see what the options were while laying on her back.
Once the bed was adjusted, the two got to work looking through all the little things Darren managed to score while stuck playing with the hexer. As the duo went over the items, though, Sable started thinking more and more that she really aught to give something to Darren. The problem was what that something should be. She didn't really have much that she thought he'd like, and it'd be pretty silly to claim something out of the stuff just to give it back to him. She then realized that she actually did have something that, even if he wasn't necessarily interested in, would at least make her feel a lot better to know that he was carrying, so she pulled out the pouch of sacred ash that she had. Obviously, she wanted to make sure Jin got healed up, too, but... When it came down to it, she was a lot more concerned about Darren's wellbeing than her own, and didn't want to risk him being in anywhere near that much danger again.
She hadn't even really realized that she was starting to break down during her explanation until she felt tears falling down her cheeks. Sable tried to brush them away, but more kept coming. Darren tried to cheer her up by pointing out that it was over, they were safe, they didn't have to deal with some sadistic little girl and her hoard of ghosts anymore, but it didn't help much. Sable just couldn't help but whimper as tears continued to spill out. Her breathing got rather shaky as Darren scooted closer. When she felt Darren brush aside some of her tears, she initially started to lean towards him, then moved back to where she was while the hand on the same side that Darren was on moved to grab and squeeze tight the forearm on Sable's other side. It made her wince a bit, although that was more from the pain of the bruise that happened to be on the spot she grabbed than anything else. It hadn't been her intention to cause herself pain, but it did help settle her thoughts down some.
After a while, Sable managed to calm back down, at least enough to give Darren a sad smile."Yeah... It does..."she admitted when Darren agreed to accept her gift if it made her feel better. The teen still felt pretty low, though, and knew that if she wanted to really feel better, she'd first have to make herself feel even lower."...But again, I'm sorry... For what happened back in that other recovery room..."She slumped some as she fought to actually admit a few things."You've been such a good guy to me, and I've been enjoying the time we've been traveling together. And then... as far as I knew, that was it. I couldn't find you, you couldn't find me, I was as good as dead, and for all I knew you were, too. I hadn't..."Sable's voice started to choke up and tears welled in her eyes again, so she paused to take a few deep breaths and steady herself again."I hadn't even had the chance to thank you for spending so much time with me. So when I saw you and Jin... I thought that was just my mind or something giving me one last chance to act on my regrets or something like that... But I was too weak to actually do anything... So, uh... That kiss was kinda... The only thing I was able to think of..."Sable blushed rather heavily as she ducked her head and looked away. Yes, it had only been a small one on the cheek, but given his reaction... She assumed that she had gone a bit too far just from that.

Yup, although I get the feeling plots are going to make the Everstone a favorite item of his, as much as he dislikes going back and forth between forms. XD Although it does feel kinda weird that there's no real advantage to staying evolved once you have the moves you want from the evolved form. I mean, there are pokemon that get new abilities or new typings, and there are some that have drastically different movesets between the two forms as well, but for most pokemon... Once I grab him Night Daze, Flamethrower, and Focus Blast, I've got Jin's moveset how I want it, and power-wise, it makes no difference if he's a zorua or a zoroark. All it'd really influence is that his illusions are stronger RP-wise if he's a zoroark.
Ahaha, yeaaaaaaah. I figure she'll pick herself up a locket or one of those tiny containers meant to be hung on pendants or something like that.
Pfft, poor Sable would have to try comforting him... And would likely fail miserably. Stuff like patting and rubbing him on the shoulder while saying "Hey, at least it's just us hearing it. I don't wanna think about what'd happen if Jin overheard you."
X'D Poor Darren is being hit hard with feels now that Sable's uncorked the bottle of emotions that she has. And I'm pretty sure she'd accept a hug in this state.
Alex was amazed with this turn of events and couldn't have been any happier. Was this truly Blastoise? His favorite pokemon growing up never looked like this, though he had to admit, this was pretty cool. He didn't want to bug Darren this soon, so with that in mind, he scanned Blastoise with his pokedex. "Mega Evolution? Mega Stone? Not much information about it yet, though I have another stone like that one, oh, I can't wait." Alex said excitedly as he put the pokedex away in his pocket and the Mystic Water back into his bag. This was all he had planned on doing right now, so he zipped up his bag and put it back on over his shoulders. His attention turned toward Blastoise as he grinned widely, clearing enjoying how things had turned out. "You did great today, Blastoise, you earned a rest, thanks for everything." Blastoise was glad to see Alex so happy about her mega evolution. She didn't know anything about what was happening, but she did feel a lot stronger than before. As he informed her she had earned a rest, Blastoise was grateful as she nodded once in acknoledgment.["I'm glad... I think we grew as a team... take care of him, Eevee..."]As usual, the way she spoke was also the way she behaved, relaxed. Even though she acted that way, she still wanted to best for all of them, Blastoise felt as though Eevee and herself were the combined leader of them. With that said, Alex returned her to the pokeball and then to his belt with the five others. Eevee let out a slight sigh, before chuckling to herself.["Don't be silly, that's always been the plan."]Alex didn't know what the two had said, but he really liked the fact that the two appeared to get along the best. Things were looking up and he was ready to move on from Pewter. "Alright, Eevee. We're heading to the mart first and then back to Cerulean." Alex spoke the last part as he began to walk, Eevee quickly following and climbing back up to her usual perch. It seemed as though things might be more interesting in Kanto.

No worries, I know that, it's never a bad thing, just makes me feel bad for not having the same motivation as I have for other RP's at the moment, it's sad cause sometimes this pokemon feels more fun than the actual games. lol Maybe cause it has more freedom. It's only getting colder and more snowy here. Supposed to be blizzardy soon, knew giving Blastoise Blizzard would be unlucky. Yeah, if I didn't have a water character, pretty sure I might have gone with that too, so hopefully it happens for him eventually. Now, to train the other two water starters in Alex's party.

Darren was rather confused by what Sable was attempting to get across. Based on her reaction, he'd probably gotten it wrong, or perhaps right? He wasn't sure until Sable outlined it more clearly. "Ah... Right..." Darren nodded. He supposed that made sense, particularly if Sable ended up having a nightmare about suffocating. Normally he would be greatly concerned, but having a secret weapon against nightmares inside of his pocket watch helped keep him calm. "Well... I wouldn't be so sure... I mean... I think that I might... Um... I might possibly uh..... E-er......" Darren tried rather hard to get the words out, but they were quiet mumbles that were barely coherent, and the harder he tried to explain, the more embarrassed he felt. What was wrong with him? It had been so easy to request the feather for Sable, but actually giving it to her was... Proving to be a challenge. Darren cleared his throat and decided to give up for now. She wasn't keen on sleeping anyways, so instead he changed the topic to how much sleep she'd actually gotten. Perhaps later tonight he could try again.
Sable answered somewhat vaguely, seeming to be more focused on something else that was bothering her, which she soon brought to light when she asked about waking up once between now and when she'd first passed out in the cofagrigous. Darren confirmed, though that only seemed to unsettle her further, or rather embarrass her. Darren blinked, confused by her embarrassment, unable to help but notice the blush starting to cross her face. He forced his gaze away, trying not to stare, but he didn't think he'd ever seen her blush before... "H-heh... Yeah I don't blame you. Honestly when I first saw Jin, I didn't think he was real either until he helped me save you..." Darren agreed with a bit of a laugh, somewhat missing her point, but soon he had to quickly help Sable with her nasty spill. Poor girl... Darren felt awful for her, and did his best to help. Once her stomach had calmed down, he made sure to get her some water and move the wastebin somewhere else within reach but out of the way, just in case she needed it again. At least she still had her sense of humor, chuckling as they discussed the berry pots and pointing out that Jin wasn't the only one who liked a tasty treat. She soon needed her bed adjusted though, and Darren had no objections, so he helped prop her up and began to dig through his treasure pile.
This soon led to Sable gifting him her sacred ash though, and while Darren felt he should object, listening to Sable's explanation somewhat guilted him in to taking it, brushing away her tears. She seemed inclined to lean into him, but then apparently decided against it, leaning back into her bed. Darren hesitated, wishing he could just take her up in his arms and give her a big hug, but he felt too embarrassed to actually do it. Sable didn't really seem to be the cuddly type, he didn't want to scare her, especially when she was so vulnerable, but he really didn't know what to do. She continued to apologize for what she'd done in the other recovery room, and Darren still had no idea what she was talking about. She hadn't done anything wrong, not as far as Darren knew. He would have questioned her on it but decided to listen until she got everything off her chest. He felt awful, not knowing how to comfort her or bring any relief, all he could do was listen. She explained how grateful she was for all he'd done, and how much she'd enjoyed their time together, but then they'd been separated and in danger, and she'd feared that was it. That she was going to die, and as far as she knew, he was dead too. She wanted to say more, but she was already choking up with tears. Arceus, this was all his fault. He should have listened to her, he should have been more careful. Sable's instincts had been right about that awful little girl.
He couldn't stand it anymore. Darren delicately adjusted Sable so that she could comfortably lean on his chest, wrapping his arms around her with utmost care as to not put pressure on any potential bruises or breaks. He cradled her, tucking her head beneath his chin and hoping that the hug would soothe her, rather than cause her to recoil. Thankfully she eventually calmed down enough to continue her confession, so he loosened his hold on her so she could sit up and face him properly if she wanted to, but otherwise if she wanted to continue to rest on him, he wouldn't object either. Finally she explained why she was so worked up about the other recovery room. The kiss.... Right, of course.... Darren felt his face burning at the realization. He'd thought nothing of it at the time, though he had to admit it'd surprised him. Actually, surprised was probably putting it lightly... He'd been rather flustered by the gesture, but then again he'd been the same way when Mitsu called him cute. "O-oh, i-is that all...? H-heh....." Darren chuckled shakily. "I-it's fine, r-really.... I... uh..." He swallowed dryly and then attempted again to finish his sentence. "I thought it was a s-sweet gesture...." He explained sheepishly. He was being honest, though he was stuttering fairly badly. "I-I mean... In a lot of cultures a um... A-a k-kiss on the cheek is a sign of gratitude t-too so I mean.... It's n-not like... You missed the mark o-or anything... Eheh... Heh..." Goodness he was turning into a big flustered mess. It was a wonder he could articulate anything at all right now.

Hah yeah, we've considered that but ultimately I think we really want people to RP and use the pokemon that they want at whatever evolution stage they want without feeling as if they need to evolve their pokemon. It makes sense that evolutions would be stronger but some people like having tiny pokemon pals. If Darren wasn't a pokedex achievement hunter all of his pokemon would absolutely be smol critter friends xD

Alex made his way to the pokemart, he had some money left and just needed to make it to Vermillion City. His parents had suggested that it would be a good idea if he ever needed more. Either way, for now he made it too the pokemart and opened the door before walking inside. He searched the aisles, with Eevee's help, and picked up various items. A couple to teach his pokemon new moves, he had just used a couple and knew they could be valuble to his adventure. Berries were always a good choice, they were light and could help if he was ever in a jam. There were a couple more useful items, he wasn't sure at the moment, but maybe he'd find a use for them. With the items decided on, he paid for them and put the items away in his bag. The quick detour was over, Alex headed out of the pokemart and further continued walking toward Mt. Moon. Hopefully this time, no bugs would show up to scare him.

When Darren hugged her, Sable had been stunned for a moment. Part of her wanted to shove him away or squirm free of the grip while another side of her just wanted to accept the moment and let everything out. Her tense body shook and shuddered as she let the teen pull her close. She hadn't realized it with the blankets on her, but she was still somewhat chilled from her encounter with the froslass, and being up against Darren's warm body, her body was forcibly reminding her of the difference in temperature. Her breaths turned shaky as she leaned closer to Darren and clung to him while trying in vain to hold back her tears. With the addition of a basic need for warmth, Sable's facade was overpowered for the moment and for a time she just sobbed as she clung to Darren.
After a while, enough of the pain bottled up inside of Sable had left for her to start regaining some of her composure. With a new but fragile calm taking the place of her sorrow, Sable was at least able to finish her apology after Darren let go of her. She didn't move away from him yet, though, as now that he had served as a comforting pillow, he was now serving as a way for the teen to hide her flushed face briefly. When he didn't respond, though, the small bit of calm Sable had quickly fled and was replaced by a feeling of dread. Slowly, the teen let go of Darren and moved away from him."...I'm sorry..."None of her usual strength and confidence was present in Sable's voice now, and instead the apology sounded liked a sad little squeak. She couldn't even raise her head to look at him now,
When Darren finally spoke, even though he was being honest, his stuttering caused Sable to have her doubts."Darren..."With no strength, real or fake, to help hide it, something new became obvious in Sable's voice: Pain. The teen ached, although whether it was the lingering pain from the curses and hexes she had suffered, the dull throb of a headache that steadily grew as her heart pounded, or the sharp stab to the chest caused by her own emotions that was the source of the pain present in her voice was up for debate."...Thanks."Even though she wasn't able look at his face and try to see some sign of whether he was telling the truth or not, Sable decided it would be better to take the words as they were for now.

Darren couldn't help but feel a slight relief when Sable seemed to accept his comfort. Finally he felt like he was helping ease her pain, and he was happy to hold her for as long as she needed him to. She felt rather cold too, shivering slightly, either from her temperature or her sobbing, he wasn't quite sure. Reguardless, he huddled her close and tried to provide as much warmth as possible. Once Sable finally calmed down, he made sure to loosen his hold in case she wanted to sit up, but once it became apparent that she wanted to continue resting on him, Darren relaxed again and continued to hold her close.
Admittedly though, he was a little stunned when Sable finished explaining herself, but felt bad when she squeaked an apology at his silence. He tried to reassure her and explain himself, but all he ended up doing was fumbling his words and probably makes my matters worse, judging by Sabled pained reaction. She thanked him, but.... He still felt bad that Sable was still clearly in pain. It was as if the matter were still unresolved, and now she couldn't even look his way. Sighing, Darren gently tucked his index finger under Sable's chin, then lightly directed her face towards him. "Look at me..." Darren insisted. "Now how about a smile huh...? You know, you use more muscles to frown than you do to smile, so you'd conserve more energy that way." Darren suggested lightheartedly, his aim being to amuse and distract. "I don't know if you've noticed... But I'm not the best communicator in the world either. I'd be a hypocrite to hold that against you." Darren explained with a cheesy smile. With the shopping finished, Alex headed back to the entrance to Mt. Moon. This time, he hoped that things would go smoothly and there would be no getting sidetracked. Even though he ended up running into a legendary pokemon, the Paras wasn't something he wished to see again. For a change, Eevee didn't think it was the right time to try to force him to get over his fears. They had enough fun the first time around. Alex made his way up to the entrance to the mountain and came to a stop. It was still well-lit, but he knew what kind of pokemon called it home. The water pokemon trainer took a long a deep breath, trying his best to calm himself before stepping foot inside. "Alright, Eevee. This time, we'll get straight through as quick as possible. We'll get some training in on the other side." He didn't really need to speak out loud, but it did help him stay focused. Eevee couldn't help, but snicker to herself, before making sure she had good footing on Alex's shoulder. With a slight sigh at Eevee's snicker, he reluctantly, but as confidently as possible entered Mt. Moon once again.

Even though Sable wasn't able to manage it herself, Darren got the teen to look at him by gently raising her head. The expression on her face made it seem as if she expected a scolding or something, and that wasn't too far off from the truth. Her eyes instinctively dropped their gaze when she saw Darren open his mouth, but the kind words that were spoken left her more puzzled than anything else. Sable forced herself to look back at Darren, but she knew trying to force a smile would be too much. It wouldn't be a nice smile, either."...It might take fewer muscles to smile, but it's easier to control the ones for frowning,"she countered, still not sounding anywhere near how she normally would. Still, Darren's words did help to cheer Sable up, at least a little, and despite herself, the corners of her lips raised ever so slightly.
Sable's throat felt as if something was caught in her throat when she tried to reply. Her breathing was fine, but no words would come out. After making a couple of attempts at speaking and failing rather miserably, she defeatedly closed her mouth and bobbed her head up and down in a slight nod. That turned out to be a mistake as the throbbing headache that had been built up after her breakdown started to grow worse. A faint groan managed to force its way out of Sable's throat as as she suddenly cringed from the pain. She was used to suffering quietly, but not this much."...Done,"was all Sable could manage to gather enough of her voice to say as she shuddered and cringed, although from how much her mouth was moving it was clear she was trying to say at least a bit more than that one word.
Sable slowly and lightly shook her head as she tried speaking again now that her voice was willing to cooperate somewhat."I-I think I'm done... Could... Could you..."There were a lot of things she wanted to ask Darren to do for her. At the top of the list were sticking around while she slept or at least giving her another hug, but she felt like she had been imposing on the teen too much. She couldn't even bring herself to ask him for some aspirin (or, more accurately, to let the nurse know that she was in pain so that the nurse could prescribe her some painkillers of an appropriate strength). Eventually, she let out a light sigh when she realized that, regardless of what she wanted, there was really only one thing she was actually willing to ask Darren to do."...Could you lower the bed back down, please? Not all the way, but enough for me to be laying down?"Her heart felt like a lump of lead or iron with how heavy it felt.

Sable would have so many problems there, the least of which being that I imagine Darren's parents wouldn't be very pleased with their foster son's choice in girlfriend. Mostly because, at least from her choice in attire and based off the couple of snippets of interaction I've seen between Darren and his mom, Sable doesn't look like the sort of person I'd think Mrs. DiCapprio (I think I spelled that right) would want Darren dating. XD
I've been hitting myself hard with a feels trip and looking through some more of my favorite songs. Found a couplemore songs that I feel fit Sable in the meantime. And yeah, I like Vocaloid songs if you couldn't tell already. XD

Darren chuckled rather halfheartedly at Sable's response. So pessimistic, but at least she was starting to smile again. He continued to explain that he wasn't upset with her, and Sable seemed to continue to try and respond, but only managed to give a weak nod, and even that seemed pained. Darren frowned with concern, but then Sable announced she was done. Darren had to agree, judging by how she was looking and acting, but she was trying to say more it seemed. After a bit of a struggle, she elaborated, explaining that she was done for now, clearly unable to resist resting any longer. Darren complied with her requests, slipping off the cot and lowering it back down slightly, just enough to where she was laying down more than she was sitting up. Afterwards he pulled the blankets over her and gave a small smile. "How's that?" He asked, and once she confirmed that she was comfortable, he hesitated to start towards the door. He probably should have checked on Jin now that Sable was tired but.... "Is there anything else you need...? More blankets? Do you want the lights off..? I c-could...." Darren paused and sighed. Turning off the lights slowly, Darren eventually turned around and made his way back into the room, pulling up a chair to Sable's cot. "S-sorry... I'm sorry... Um..." Darren quietly chastised himself and sat down. "I know you're done but... I... I can't um... I'm just gonna... Be here... J-just in case.. Ah... Y-you know..." He sighed. Why was this so hard...? He scooted a bit closer and propped his head up in his hands, resting his elbows on her cot. "Sorry ah... Just... Pretend I'm not here and..." He yawned. How.... Late was it again...? "I'll... Just shut up now so you can..." Darren drooped, shifting again to fold his arms on her cot and rest his head on top. "Sorry..." He breathed, eyelids fluttering closed. Still, it seemed to be enough to convince Darren that he could leave, so Sable gave one last glance as the teen left before closing her eyes in an attempt to rest. She still didn't plan on sleeping, but her body felt tired, and the teen knew she at least needed to stay still and rest if she intended to leave the pokemon center anytime soon.
For a little while, Sable remained silent and listened to Darren's footsteps as the teen started to leave. She noticed the area go dark from behind her closed eyelids and noticed that at got really dark. Night must have already come and made itself at home if the room was going to be that dark. She cracked open an eye when, instead of moving further away, she heard some footsteps come closer."...Darren...?"The teen had grabbed a chair and set it beside the bed Sable was in before sitting down. She blinked a couple of times when he apologized and tried to explain himself, then gave him a tired smile."It's alright... I..."Once again, the words insisted on sticking in her throat, and by the time she could force herself to say it, Darren was already fast asleep."...I want you to stay..."The words were barely a whisper, more to keep Darren from waking up than anything else.
From where she lay, Sable just watched Darren sleep for some time. Even if he hadn't been harmed, no doubt everything that happened had taken its toll on him. He was able to sleep so peacefully in spite of whatever he had gone through, though, and for a while Sable could only watch him."...You really are... A good guy... I'm glad I met you..."she whispered after a while before turning her gaze to the ceiling. She wanted to hold his hand or put a hand on his head, something, but she didn't want to wake him up and she wasn't sure how he'd take the gesture. Instead, she lay where she was and watched the ceiling until one of her blinks ended up being enough for her to pass out.

Heheh, I figured as much. And whoo for remembering names correctly! o u o Not entirely sure what the man of the house will think of her, though. He seems like an all-business kind of guy from what little's been mentioned of him, so it's kinda up in the air. If Sable turns out to be at least a decent battler, I guess it'd depend on how he views the idea of Darren having a girlfriend tough enough for the both of them and if that'd be enough to oppose whatever negetive views he might have that are more organization-based.

Darren hesitated somewhat when Sable suggested that she didn't want to keep bothering him with a bunch of little things. He really didn't mind, but he couldn't quite figure out how to respond to that in a normal way– the first thing that came to mind was "It's okay! Please bother me! Bother me as much as you need!" and even Darren knew better than to blurt that out. So instead he decided to let her rest, or that was until he turned right back around and pulled up a chair to stay with her. He'd only wanted to make sure she fell asleep alright, then he could leave his pocket watch with her while he checked on Jin, though in the end he probably would have come back here anyways instead of getting himself a room, too concerned to leave Sable alone. Instead he ended up falling asleep on the spot, too tired to be embarrassed about it. Thankfully Sable at least seemed fine with it, albeit a little surprised at first, and though Darren was already fast asleep, the his mouth seemed to smile a bit when Sable mentioned that she'd wanted him to stay.
The next morning, Darren woke slowly, regaining conciousness a little too early and falling back asleep, then waking up again a little later and a bit more refreshed with that extra bit of sleep. He gave a quiet yawn, sitting up slowly to check on Sable, but instantly regretted it. His muscles screamed and ached, both from the lumpy position he ended up sleeping in and also the bruises and aches from being thrown about by the hex maniac last night. He didn't make a sound though, careful to try and not wake the sleeping figure next to him. Speaking of which... Darren gave Sable a check up. Her breathing seemed normal, he doubted she would have had any nightmares being near the lunar wing. Now that he was awake though, there was much that needed to be done. He'd neglected to check on Jin, and give him some of the sacred ash like he'd promised Sable, he needed to take a shower, he needed to get some breakfast... Thankfully he was a morning person. He stood quietly, ignoring the increasing amount of pain he felt in every movement, and pulled out his pocket watch. He left it on the cot next to Sable, both for continued protection against her nightmares, but also as a silent promise that he would be back soon, in case she woke up while he was gone.
With that he checked on her again. She was breathing, she was calm, he could go for just a few minutes, he would be right back.... He chanted these thoughts to himself over and over until he was convinced enough to leave her. When he stepped out though, nurse joy was standing in the doorway and smiling at him. "Oh! You're awake~ Going to check on your other little friend? He's been sound asleep all night. Well don't worry sweetie, I can take over from here if you'd like." Darren blinked in surprise but then eventually nodded. "A-ah... Yes, that would be great thank you. I'll be back soon." He nodded appreciatively, stepping aside so that she could enter and Darren could head out. His first order of buisness was checking on Jin, though he made sure to stop by the cafeterria first to grab a few pecha berries first before stopping by his room.
Darren slipped in quietly, moving over to the little Zorua and gently stroking his head. "Hey buddy... Sorry for waking you, you can go back to sleep, but I just thought you might want an update...." Darren murmured, placing the pecha berries beside him. "Sable's doing fine, I think I turned her on to the idea of keeping some berry pots with her." He explained, digging the pouch of ash out of his bag and taking a pinch to sprinkle on his back. "Here, this should help you too, and I brought some pecha berries for you..." Darren offered.

Lol that's fine, this was sorta my plan with Darren anyways, cause he's def the type to fall asleep at a hurt/sick friend's bedside.
Frankly no girl will ever be good enough for Mrs DiCapprio's little angel, and Mr DiCapprio is def all buisness, and respects power, as well as courage, so I think he'd respect Sable even if he doesn't approve simply because her influence would drive Darren away from Void. Not to mention she'd be a target of avoid, so lots of conflict there and in his opinion, a waste of Darren's time if she's just going to get herself killed.
Haha I def love some of Gumi's stuff, but I have to say my faves are a lot of Rin and Len's songs. Quite a few of Miku's too, so I kind of fall into the typical crowd but I have looked at others too.

Something like a quiet growl or a grumble slipped out of Jin's throat when Darren gently pet his head, but it was more from grogginess than anything else."...Oo'zare?"With how tired he was, even his thoughts weren't quite coherent yet. Still, the small and fluffy dark type forced an eye open enough to look around. He didn't really get what Darren was saying, although an ear twitched in response to the sound of the teen talking. The pecha berries set beside him, though, did catch the zorua's attention and almost immediately pawed one of the pink berries over so that it was in front of his face and took a bite of it.
The burst of sweetness helped wake the dark type enough to start paying attention to what else was going on in the room. Jin nodded a bit when Darren explained that Sable was alright and that she seemed willing to go along with the idea of planting berries."Thanks, Darren. I'd have gone to see her myself, but... Well, you know."The zorua gave a sheepish chuckle and, for a moment, was content to nom on the berry. When he felt something weird about his back, though, he turned his head to try and look at what was going on."Uh, Darren?"He was a bit hesitant to believe the teen's claim that whatever he was putting on would help, but it didn't take long for the ash to start on its work. Jin was honestly surprised when the pain started to fade away.
Within a short amount of time, Jin was already feeling a lot better. Not well enough to be thinking about battling anytime soon, but well enough to see if he could get up on his own. He took it slow, being careful in case he wasn't as much better as he thought, but he was fairly stable as he managed to get onto all four paws."Huh. Not sure what's in that stuff, but it seems to be doing the trick,"Jin commented as he carefully laid back down and went back to nibbling at the berry. He figured he already pushed himself enough just by standing up for a moment, so after his successful little check he was more than happy to lay there and munch on berries until he felt a bit stronger. When Darren commented on bringing the berries for him, Jin couldn't help but laugh a bit."I kinda figured. You'd have chosen a poor spot to put them if you hadn't been planning on letting me at them,"he remarked, then gave the teen a smirk and wagged his tail.

XD Her mom would like that Darren's planning on such a sensible and usually safe career choice, while Sable's dad would just be glad that his daughter's happy around him.
Ah, no worries. I like a lot of their songs, too. Admittedly, though, I think Miku gets the least amount of my love compared to the others. Of course, with how many songs use Miku, I still end up having a lot of her floating around my playlists on YouTube. XD I gotta weed out the songs that don't work anymore, though. :c The songs I like keep getting taken down or restricted.

Darren gave Jin a sympathetic smile as the zorua groggily awoke, but between healing him with the ash, the pecha berries, and the good news on Sable, he was sure Jin would forgive him. Darren had to chuckle a bit at the zorua's immediate snag of one of the small pink berries, in spite of his dead tired state. At least a bit of food helped him wake up enough to register the words coming out of Darren's mouth. He nodded as Jin thanked him for the update and tried to explain his own shortcomings. "It's okay Jin, no one blames you. Best you try to recover for now, you'll get to see her soon enough. Speaking of which...." Darren brought out the ash that Sable had given him and sprinkled it over Jin's back, explaining that it would help him. The zorua seemed a bit unsure at first, but as the ash's effects began to take place, he seemed to reconsider his objection, testing out his newfound strength.
Darren watched with awe as Jin managed to stand on all fours and confirmed he felt a lot better now. "Fascinating...." Darren murmured. He still had plenty left too. If just that tiny bit had taken away Jin's pain, he had to wonder what else it could do. Could it be used on humans? Would it heal scars like Sable's? The possibilities were endless, but Darren reigned his imagination in for now as Jin decided to play it safe and lay back down. Not that Darren could blame him when he had nowhere to go and a whole pile of pecha berries next to him. Darren gave a laugh at Jin's retort to the fact that the pecha berries for him. "Hey buddy... Sorry for waking you, you can go back to sleep, but I just thought you might want an update...." Darren murmured, placing the pecha berries beside him. "Sable's doing fine, I think I turned her on to the idea of keeping some berry pots with her." He explained, digging the pouch of ash out of his bag and taking a pinch to sprinkle on his back. "Heh, yeah. I would've brought that one on myself. Anyways, I'm gonna go get cleaned up and check back on Sable. She's just two rooms down from you if you feel up to it. Enjoy your berries~" Darren grinned, rubbing Jin's head again before heading back out
With that, Darren reserved himself a room from Nurse Joy so that he could take a shower. Aside from that, who knew how long they were going to be here with Sable's condition. It wouldn't hurt to have a room reserved. Once inside the privacy of the room, Darren made his way to the mirrored dresser, slipping his jacket off and bracing himself before pulling off his shirt. "Ha.... Augh...." Darren winced at his image. Big blue grey and purple blotches covered his sides. He'd been thrown pretty hard, even if one of his landings was softer than the other. Darren gave a heavy sigh, not wanting to look at the rest of him. He undressed and moved to the shower, hoping that the hot water would lessen the pain and loosen his tense muscles. A few minutes later Darren was dressed and feeling a little refreshed at least. It didn't hurt as much to move, but it still hurt, and probably would for a while, but it was okay, he could deal with it. For now, he made his way back to Sable's room.

I'll rest here a bit longer and finish these up before seeing about going to visit sis,"he replied when Darren said he was gonna take care of a few things he needed to deal with, then focused on the soft, pink morsels next to him.
While Darren had been visiting with Jin, Sable started to wake up as well. She had been asleep for a while and Nurse Joy had already come and gone by the time the teen had regained consciousness. A large yawn escaped from her before she opened her eyes to look around. She frowned when she saw that Darren had already left, but she did notice that a pocketwatch was sitting nearby her. Sable didn't bother hiding another cat-like yawn as she picked up the pocketwatch to look it over. It took a few moments for it to click where Sable had seen the trinket before, and a little bit of pink tinged her cheeks when she recalled that it was Darren's watch.It must have slipped out while he was sleeping or something,she thought, not even considering that he might have left it on purpose. Still, she figured he'd probably realize it was missing eventually, so odds were Darren would come back eventually to look for it.

Pffft, yes, yes! Granted, Sable'd try to leave the Void-related issues outside when going to visit with Darren, but you'd better believe she's fight back if attacked. XD But poor Darren might be wondering why some of the pots, vases, and plates broke while he was gone. And why there's some knives and forks stuck in the walls. XD
XD Well, she wouldn't insist on it, and she'd still go visit with Darren if he really wanted her to, but I'd think after the first time, she'd give him the understatement of "I don't think your parents like me very much." And oh gods, both sets of parents meeting up... Oh, my... Sable would go off somewhere else to avoid getting caught in the crossfire. XD
Yeah... :c At least this time I can actually see what the names were for most of them, but that doesn't help when they shoot down every version with subtitles that goes up. DX
