My lavender, catmint, and mint plants are doing pretty good since I planted them. They haven't been too fond of this hot weather though. But they've perked back up after I've watered them, so I'm glad to see that.

I'll definitely will have to look more into recipes that use lavender and mint too since I have the plants now. xd
I had seen a shortbread cookie recipe that I thought I would be able to do. But alas all of the dandelions I had blooming have been mowed already. So... I'll have to try the recipe some other time.

I've actually been to that stadium. It's where I went to see Taylor Swift perform for her 1989 tour. biggrin

1. You’re at home as the first emergency broadcast systems air and the news are beginning to run wild. Some tell you to stay at home, stay calm and close all doors, others are telling you to make your way as fast as possible to emergency camps. But what do you decide to do? Do you stay at Home and make it safe? Or do you flee?I would probably stay at home and do more research on what's going on, because sometimes news stations overdramatize things than they really need to be. As we've seen with this whole COVID-19 business. But I would still start making preparations in case I do need to leave where I'm at.

2. Let’s say you stayed. What do you do to make your home safe and prepared for what’s to come?I know I would stock up on whatever essentials I need that I don't have enough to last me for a good period of time. As for make my home safe... if I need to barricade the windows, I probably would do that. *shrugs*

3. Since all the news have you worried about your loved ones, you still try to reach out to them. However, the time is short and you can already see the first bits of horror unleashing on the streets. You have time for 3 calls, who are you choosing for these?I know for sure I would call my parents. As for the other two... I guess I would give a call to both of my grandmas. Because all of the other people I probably would be able to relay messages to via Facebook and other social media. Assuming that's still available to use for the time being.

4. After the first time of rationing your food at home you realize that your supplies are getting short. There are good and bad news. The good ones, you can be sure that the houses around you still have at least something in their pantry, the bad ones: You can be just as sure that there are a bunch of neighbors left who haven’t made it and are now wandering through their houses. Moral dilemma: Are you capable to put down a bunch of your neighbors’ walkers down in order to search for food? And what if some of them are actually still alive? Or do you try to find another food source?Well... honestly, I probably would go see if there's anything left at the grocery store first before raiding anyone's house. I mean... it's just a walk's away from me. If I encounter any "zombies," if it's a life-or-death situation, I will do what's necessary. If there are people still alive, I probably would be courteous and see if they are willing to spare anything they may have or not. *shrugs* Though I probably would go find another food source knowing a lot of my neighbors have kids. So... I would feel bad taking food from people who need the supplies more than me.

5. Which three skills of yours do you think would help you survive the apocalypse?I have a knack of becoming everyone's friend. With my friendly personality and preferring to stay on peaceful terms with people will be quite beneficial. Also, knowing not to draw any attention to myself will help me stay under the radar of anyone who is looking for trouble.
I'm pretty good with nature, so finding my way around unfamiliar places or finding natural edible plants will be beneficial. Plus hiding in nature will be beneficial too when hiding from the bad guys - alive or dead.
Finally... I guess I can be pretty creative and resourceful. So, I find a solution to some tricky problems, I suppose.
