*reads article about Onward's opening numbers* I'm glad they are at least taking into consideration on how the whole Corona virus/flu concerns could be affecting movie attendance right now. I know for our theater we've been really dead.
Part of it is just because of the movie selections available. A few we've had for a long time, so the hype has died down for them. Then about half have been R-rated films... which makes it hard for teenagers to come see movie when there's nothing in their "age range" they want to see. And families are having a hard time because we haven't really had any true children's films. Sure, there's Sonic and stuff... but even then... they tend to lean a bit on covering adult subjects that aren't always child friendly (depending on how the parent feels about it).

Hard to remind anyone of their appointments when 98% of the people aren't even in their rooms... xd

Seriously, Amazon! Now you are wanting to do the whole authentication code. *sighs* I just wanted to check on the status of my package again. I don't have access to my e-mail from here to get that code. rolleyes

This year has just been crazy so far and we're only three months in!
Fires and flood in Australia... and now this whole Corona virus ordeal worldwide.

*sighs* I'm starting to get tired of the one resident constantly coming up to me inquiring about the missing remote from the 4th floor. I know nothing about where it is or whether it's been found... and there's nothing I can do to make it suddenly reappear. And I'm definitely not going to keep bugging the staff about it when there's more pressing matters present to be focusing their attention on.
I know it upsets him that it's missing... but... *shrugs*

You would think with all of the COVID-19 precautions going on work would be more calmer with less residents having to go to appointments. But no... I feel more stressed now than normal because I'm constantly trying to figure out what needs to be cancelled and constantly being bombarded by everyone's questions on how long our "quarantine" set-up will last. xp

I'm so ready for this weekend to be over and for my shift to be over.
I feel like I'm inadequately informed on what all needs to be done in respond to the virus precautions for work stuff... and as a result, I feel like I may have missed something that needed to be done before tomorrow. *shrugs* Oh well. It'll be their problem to take care of and not mine.

I really hope this COVID-19 pandemic comes to an end soon. The craziness of places closing out of precautions - resulting in me being "laid off" at the theater - and just feeling trapped because there's no social events I can attend is just... stressful and a bit depressing, respectively.

I'm just thankful for my job at the assisted living. It's the only thing that's still bringing income for me right now and I at least have the security that that won't change.
I just keep seeing all of the places that are closing up and not being able to offer pay during the wait... and I just think, if things had gone differently I could have been working there and would've been in a worse situation than I am now.
