 Emotionally, I'm just feeling down right now. Either I feel like I'm being insulted or attacked for little things or being approached in ways I don't want to interact with them in.

I'm in that mood where I don't want to be near anybody, I just want to be in solitude. But then there's another part of me that wants to be with friends and doing something other than work.

My aunt hasn't been helping matters either. She heard about me getting a place of my own and she offered to purchase items for my place. I guess the gesture is a bit awkward. Instead of just saying "Hey, I bought you this item for your place, hope you like it" or "Here's some money to go towards something you want to purchase for your place," she just goes "Send me a link of what you want up to this dollar amount and I'll get it for you."
She was at my Grandma's today and apparently Grandma brought up the topic that I'm ready for furniture. So, my Aunt instantly jumped at the idea, sending my links asking if I liked the styles. I thanked her but informed her we already found potential couches and dining table; just waiting for weather to improve for me to go get them.
Instead of leaving it at that, she was all like: "Have I done something to offend you?" Um... what? neutral I explained to her, between me collecting items over the years and accumulating items from my Grammy's place, I was pretty set on most items, so it was hard to come up with something for her to get me. Not to mention, I haven't had the time to look. rolleyes

I guess the reason why it's such an awkward gesture, is the amount she said she would be willing to buy something up to. I don't want to come off greedy... but at the same time, don't want to request something small (and inexpensive) that she might feel like I'm insulting her. Even more so after the conversation we had this morning [mentioned above].

I really don't know what to ask for.
There's a part of me that just wants to get it over with and figure something out, so I don't have to keep being bugged by her about it. But I don't want to request something random that I end up disliking because I didn't put too much thought into how it would suit my place.

According to one of our residents, regarding the Super Bowl:
"The Groundhogs are going to win."
He's just joking around because today's Super Bowl game happens to occur on the same day as Groundhog Day. xd

One of our newer residents has a couple cute dogs. I finally got to say "hi" to them a moment ago when he was taking them out for a walk. Very sweet and well-mannered.

Well, I did manage to get a few more residents to sign up for our little "betting" pool game for the Super Bowl. So, my co-worker can't say I didn't do anything.

My Aunt is starting to get on my nerves regarding getting something for my house. I finally found something I would let her get for me - a bathroom scale. She agreed to get it for me.
However, she seems to think she should get something more for me. I already told her I was set on a majority of things - hence the reason why it was such a problem figuring out what I would let her get for me. *sighs* What should be a nice gesture is just becoming more of a nuisance.
