The desk here at work is pretty clean since I've organized it and sanitized wiped it earlier; probably won't last long when the other receptionist works. My desk at home is cleaner than it had been. Still not completely clean like it used to be in the past... but it's better than it had been.

Do you like babysitting? I "baby"-sitted my two second-cousins when they were younger (late elementary/early middle) and I absolutely hated it afterwards. But then again... it may have been because of who they were. Problem with doing a random act of kindness - like fixing that resident's glasses - is someone spotting you are doing it and automatically assume I'm going to do it for everyone who comes asking. Another resident observed me working on them and he kept asking "Could you fix my glasses?" I didn't see anything wrong with them though. rolleyes

Yesterday my boss was explaining how she wants me to do the stocking stuffers for the employees this weekend.
Her: So, these are for the guys. *points to a box of Lego mug cups* And these are for the ladies. *points to bag of lotions, plastic scrunchies, and nail fliers*
Me: *thinking: But I want a Lego mug cup. I don't need more lotion.*

That's one of the best parts about being able to play Santa with the stocking stuffers where there's a variety of items to select from; I get to choose which flavor/scent/color/etc. I want from what's available.
Unfortunately, for the Lego mugs, there wasn't enough for me to sneak one for myself instead of getting any of the "female-designated" items.

Hope everyone is having a good holiday season. Despite my busy work schedule, I was able to have a good time with my family and friends - on two separate days. I got some nice gifts too.

Finally done with the tree decorating portion of the holiday event.
Now to wait for the Gaia staff to fix the bugs for their second half - Choose-Your-Own-Adventure - so I can complete the achievements for that.
