Granted, and you get actual apples to replace them. This of course provides much better sound quality then your last pair did. The only problem is that you now get shocked every time the song changes, your ears always smell of apples and you need to travel half way around the world to get replacement apples next week.

The royalties roll in unabated for a little while, and all is fine until scientists discover that nail polish causes enigmatic but urgent lumps in some rats (kind of like everything else does when used to an excess?). Outraged, the easily duped public demands that all forms of nail polish be recalled. and that their money be refunded. Soon, a class action law suit is filed and you are forced to pay opportunistic PETA enthusiasts vast sums of money. And all because some bored boffins decided to give their lab rats manicures!
