Wind heard what he said but it still took a moment to sink in and he knew that he was going to wind up with a few problems. But he didn't admit to any of it right now. Instead he took in a deep breath and tried to figure out how to help with that situation. "I don't know how to help with that... I've never hidden what I am or my preference. I think Dancer would be the only one that could help with it. But..." he admitted to him softly and licked his lips nervously, "But I'll do my best..." he offered, hoping that there wouldn't be an issue there. He tried to figure out how to move on and get out of a potentially embarrassing situation. But he didn't have to think very hard for long... His cat sensed a moment of weakness and internal conflict. The cat wasn't conflicted at all. It was pissed off and wanting blood. The shift was breathtakingly fast. One moment, Wind is sitting there trying to figure the situation out; the next moment, there's a black leopard the size of a small pony turning onto the floor and bolting for the main door that was still open, growling and snarling the whole way. Sharp claws sank into the wood flooring and pulled him along even faster, leaving Egan scrambling to catch and contain him....

Egan licked his lips nervously as Wind stated that he didn't know how to help with the situation because he had never hidden what he was or his preference. "That's exactly why I think you're the right one to help," he said. "You've never hidden yourself. I can't really think of someone better to help me. You know how to be open. That's what I need to learn."
He noticed how conflicted and nervous Wind seemed to be and was trying to think about what he should say as he looked at him. That was really the only reason that he was able to notice the shift right away. The sudden change was so quick that Egan would never have been able to keep up if he hadn't been paying attention. But even though he was able to see the shift instantly, he simply wasn't fast enough to keep up with the leopard in his human form.
Just before the leopard could escape the room, a massive wolf managed to leap forward and get in front of it. Under most circumstances, the leopard would have outpaced the wolf with little effort, but Wind's current condition and the instability of his shifts gave the wolf the advantage it needed. The wolf slammed into the door, causing it to slam shut. That left the leopard facing Egan as he shifted back into his human form. "I don't think so. You'll have to settle for only getting to play with me."

The leopard gave a roar of frustrated rage as the escape route was denied, then a narrow-eyed growl at the ultimatum. But that was just fine with the cat. It had left the servants alone because they were helpless and brought food. This person wasn't helpless... A leap threw the cat into Egan's chest where they bounced off the door then onto the floor to roll across the living room to come to a hard stop at the central fireplace. The coffee table was now toast... The cat dug claws into Egan's chest with a deeper growl then snarled right before it tried to dart forward to bite the male's neck, only to be stopped by an arm suddenly put in the way. The cat clamped down on the arm tightly, clearly intent on getting through the arm to something alot mroe tender. It was obvious that Egan was going to have to get alot more firm with the cat... This was nothing like the wolf. This cat was clearly intent on bloodshed and so full of rage that it was going to take something ALOT more to deal with!

Egan was prepared for the leopard's leaping attack, allowing him to maintain enough control that the cat couldn't manage a kill. He growled as the claws dug into his chest and caught the leopard's intent to go for his neck with just enough time to react. He forced his arm into the leopard's mouth, deciding that it was better for it to take a bite of his arm instead of his neck. He gritted his teeth as the cat clamped down on his arm, ignoring the pain.
He used their position to bring his other arm into the leopard's neck, striking hard enough to make the car gasp for breath and release its hold on his arm. He shifted into a form between his human and wolf and then used his strength to throw the leopard off of himself as it tried to take in a breath. He was back on his feet in an instant, growling as he slipped into a fighting stance. "Fine, I'll play your game," he growled.
He rushed toward the leopard, disappearing in a flash of fire just before they collided. He appeared beside the leopard a moment later, delivering a powerful kick that sent it slamming into the nearest wall. He stepped forward and grabbed the leopard before it could recover, grabbing it by the neck and slamming it into the ground again. He made sure not to do anything that would cause lasting damage, but he knew that he had to be about as far from gentle as possible. He had to show that he was stronger than the leopard, had to force it back down. Blood still dripped from his arm and chest where the cat had sank its fangs and claws in, though the wounds were already starting to close.

This fight was brutal, but it showed Egan that Wind really did issues with his different forms. In the end, he had to pin the cat to the floor until it submitted, leaving them both panting as the cat finally just started licking the wounds it had inflicted. It was kindof an apology for the damage... A few moments after Egan finally let him up, the cat shifted to Wind's human form. He laid on the floor panting hard, fully ready to apologize again once he could move comfortably and once he'd caught his breath. He was showing the damage from it, but it wasn't as bad as it could have been. And his leg was also looking better thanks to a much smoother shift, his injuries from the torture were looking better. Not fully healed by a long shot, but it was progress. He raised his head and looked at the main door then dropped back with a whispered, "Thank god..." finding that he was more than grateful that Egan had kept him from getting out. He couldn't have handled it if he'd gotten out and hurt or killed someone. In truth, if Egan hadn't taken his cat on... He would have been one doorway away from going completely feral....

Egan held the cat against the floor after their fight, panting as the cat finally submitted and started to lick the wounds it had inflicted to him. "That's better," he said. "Now you've finally figured out who's in charge here. You put up a hell of a fight, but you couldn't beat me. Remember that for next time."
He finally let the cat up and stepped back, letting out a sigh of relief when the cat shifted back into Wind. He could've kept going with the cat for as long as necessary, but he wasn't sure if he could've kept going for much longer without really causing some damage to Wind's body. And he really didn't want to cause more damage to Wind. That seemed like it would really defeat the purpose of helping Wind to live.
He watched Wind raise his head to look at the door for a moment before dropping back down. He shifted back to his fully human form and walked over to Wind, his multiple wounds still bleeding. Egan looked like he'd taken a hell of a beating, but he didn't really seem to notice it that much. The wounds from the cat clamping down on his arm had mostly stopped bleeding, but he would probably be left with a pretty nasty scar. The cat's fangs had gone far deeper than he had let on, after all.
He reached out his uninjured arm to Wind to help him up. "That cat of yours put up one hell of a fight. I'm actually pretty impressed. That was a lot more fun that I expected." He helped Wind back over to the bed and then sat down with him. "I guess that just leaves your demon now. We've made some good progress." He looked down at the various wounds that the cat had inflicted and sighed when he noticed that the leopard had ripped up his clothes quite a bit. "I think I need a shower now, though. And probably some new clothes. And you'll need to get cleaned up, too. We're both looking pretty bloodied up after that."

Wind made no protest as Egan helped him up and over to the bed, still panting and trying to get back to breathing normally. Then Egan mentioned that he'd need a shower and clothes, pulling Wind's attention to the condition Egan was actually in. He winced at the damage, "I'm sorry, Egan... I..." he apologized about the damage his cat had inflicted, especially the arm since he knew exactly how bad that one was. But he knew that apologizing wouldn't fix anything so he tried to move on, "Shower is in the bathroom... And I should have something you can wear," he said, suddenly finding that he had a new problem... If Egan took a shower, he'd be naked, in the next room, in the water... Oh that was going to be hard.... His mouth actually went a bit dry but he tried to rally and took in a deep breath, "We both do need to clean up... You're right about that..." he said in a softer tone then gathered his courage to do his best to resist temptation... He got to his feet then had to use a hand on the bed to steady himself, then headed into the bathroom to start up the shower. He wasn't sure if he was thinking clearly just yet, but starting the shower for the both of them just seemed to make a strange kind of sense to him...

Egan simply shrugged a bit as Wind apologized for the damage the cat had done. "It's not like some damage was unexpected," he said. "You said that your cat wanted to get out and kill everyone. You made it pretty clear that it was out for blood. So I was ready for the fight. The cat just managed to get a few good hits in."
He tilted his head a bit as Wind moved on to mention the shower and stated that he should have something Egan could wear. He could tell that Wind was suddenly a bit nervous about something relating to the shower. But since Wind didn't seem opposed to the idea of showering together, he decided not to say anything. If Wind didn't want to say anything about it, he wouldn't either.
He watched Wind get up and thought about things for a moment after Wind moved into the bathroom. He thought about the relationship the two of them would end up having. He could handle an arrangement that involved the two of them just sticking together to get Wind back into a better state before he went with another male. But he couldn't help but want more than that. He had hidden himself for so long, so he had never had a real relationship. The closest he had gotten was a few flings with interesting men that passed through the village for a few days. But even those flings had been as discreet as possible, so there had never been a chance for them to become something more. And now that he was thinking about it, he couldn't deny how lonely that made him feel. He wanted a relationship that he could be open about. He wanted to stop hiding parts of himself from others. Maybe Wind could help him with that. Even if they didn't stay together, maybe Wind could help him to get over his hangups so that he could have a good relationship later.
He let out a sigh and got up to head to the bathroom. He started to undress on the way there, pulling his ripped shirt over his head and kicking off his shoes. He was wearing nothing but his tattered pants when he stopped behind Wind in the bathroom. "Is the water ready? I really want to wash this blood off." As he spoke, he removed his pants as well. So Wind would suddenly find him naked as he turned around to look at him. Egan really didn't find anything odd about nudity, since he'd always let everyone think he was a WereWolf. He'd always had to make sure that he was naked when he shifted back to his human form so that no one would suspect anything. So he didn't immediately realize how it would probably affect Wind to suddenly find him naked.

Wind turned around, "Yeah-" he froze there because he turned and caught sight of Egan without anything on and had no idea how to cover that one. Or, rather, how to hide that one... Of course, it impossible to hide his attraction to the very attractive male, but that didn't mean that he didn't try. He swallowed and rallied a bit, backing out from under the water to let Egan in. He only had some bruises, a couple of scratches, a one bite on the back of his neck, and one on the front of his neck. But he knew that Egan had been firm but as gentle as possible with him. It had taken the bite to the front of his neck to stop his cat, so it wound up being a good bite. But he'd heal just fine after a few shifts. But his attraction right now was why he'd never been able to hide his interest in men. That had been all too visible from the time he'd hit puberty. He hadn't been able to function with a female at all. That last had gotten him cast out of the clans badly enough that his sister'd had to come to his rescue... Still, that explained his nervousness right now. He was attracted to Egan and the male hadn't made a real move yet... So the whole thing was a bit nerve-racking for him and left him unbalanced because he didn't know how to react just yet. Admittedly, Egan had revealed that they both played for the same team, but that didn't necessarily mean that Egan was actually attracted to him or was even interested in him...

Egan raised an eyebrow when Wind froze in the middle of confirming that the water was ready. He was about to say something when he noticed the reason why the other male had reacted this way upon seeing him naked. Well, that was a bit awkward. Egan was so used to being naked that he had forgotten the way it might affect others who weren't used to seeing him. It did make him feel pretty good to see that Wind was attracted to him, though.
He had to chuckle a bit as he stepped into the shower after Wind stepped back. The entire situation just seemed funny to him. The fact that someone as unbelievably gorgeous as Wind was nervous because they were attracted to him just seemed so funny, He really hadn't had anyone react this way before.
He watched Wind closely as he felt the water running over his body. He didn't react to the stinging from the numerous injuries, even ignoring the ache it caused in his injured arm. He simply watched Wind, debating what he should say. He knew that he hadn't made any sort of move yet, but he wasn't really sure where to begin. He didn't really know what kind of move would be best, and he was also a bit uncertain since Wind was still so messed up.
He finally gave another chuckle. "You're really cute when you're nervous," he noted, unable to keep from saying what he was thinking. "I have to admit, it is nice that someone as gorgeous as you is attracted to me. That's certainly not something I see very often. Well, it's not something that I often get to see in someone that I'm actually interested in. So seeing it with you is definitely fun." He shifted slightly, allowing the blood to wash away as he thought about what else to say. "I'm not really sure where to go from here. I'm attracted to you, and you're clearly attracted to me, despite how hard you're trying to hide it. But I'm not sure what to do in a situation like this. I've never had anything more than a few quick flings, and treating this like another fling wouldn't be good for either of us. You deserve better than that. So I'm at a bit of a loss here." He had no problem admitting that he was interested in Wind, but he really didn't know how to get started with any sort of real relationship. He really was at a loss.

Wind listened and looked at his feet for a moment, his hair shifting around him in the process. If he looked down, he wouldn't get distracted. He considered the situation pretty fast, considering the circumstances. He finally looked up and tucked his hair behind his ear as he finally met Egan's eyes, then licked his lips a bit nervously before drawing in a shaky breath and plunging on, "You could try a kiss..." he offered in a soft tone, almost a whisper. It probably didn't seem like much to Egan, but it was a lot for Wind. Still, he'd offered something that might move them forward. He licked his lips again as he looked down at his hands as they toyed with his hair a bit, showing his nervousness as he considered that he was going to have to reveal something very new to Egan. But he knew he was going to have to if they were going to move forward. "I've only ever had five lovers since I hit puberty... Being 'gorgeous' as you put it, doesn't mean that I've been that successful with love... Four out of the five died. One left because he wanted the relationship hidden and I didn't. One the clans killed in front of me as a warning. Two died because of freak accidents. One the Hunters killed.... That's been my luck... Being nice, sweet, and attractive hasn't won me any favors over the years..." he explained, hoping that Egan would get the point. Still, the kiss was a good suggestion. It was a good place to start. They'd both already admitted to attraction in one way or another, so that one was a given. But to start... Well, one couldn't go wrong with a kiss...

Egan studied Wind for a moment as the other male looked down and considered the situation. He was a bit surprised when Wind finally met his eyes and suggested a kiss. He could tell that Wind was nervous, though he wasn't sure if it was simply because of the idea of the kiss. He received his answer a moment later.
He listened carefully as Wind revealed that he had only had a handful of lovers in his life, and that all but one had ended up dead. He considered the best way to respond for a moment. "It sounds like you've had even worse luck with love than I have," he started. "I've never had a real relationship, but I think that would be better than finding someone and then having them die like that. Especially since I know what happened with your last lover. I'm sorry that you've had to deal with so much pain."
One hand moved up to caress Wind's cheek as the other slipped around his waist and pulled him in close. "I will say something, though. I'm absolutely attracted to you. But the fact that you're one of the most beautiful people I've ever met is only a very small part of it. If it were just based on looks, this conversation wouldn't be happening. What attracted me and made me want to help was your personality. You say that you being nice and sweet hasn't won you any favors over the years. But it's part of what pulled in your lovers in the first place. Don't ever try to discount that."
His fingers trailed down Wind's cheek and under his chin as he looked him in the eye. He eventually gave him a kind smile and finally leaned in to claim his lips in a kiss. The kiss was gentle and loving, though Wind wouldn't be able to miss the burning desire that Egan was keeping under control. He had decided that a gentler approach would probably be better to start with than a fiery, passionate moment. But as the kiss went on, Egan's control slipped just a bit, leading him to start to take Wind over in a way that would leave both of them gasping for breath when he finally let him go so that they could both breathe,

Wind's face lifted when Egan touched his cheek and swallowed at the look on the male's face but didn't protest at all. He did give a soft gasp and licked his lips nervously when the arm went around his waist and pulled him in close, letting the water flow over him as well. His hands automatically went to Egan's chest, almost right below the initial claw marks from the leopard. Then he leaned in for that kiss, the first gentle touch pulling a soft moan from him as he felt the first sensations of lips and tongue that sent his desire even higher. The kiss didn't stop there, something a small part of him was more than grateful for. When the intensity went up several notches, Wind could only moan as his desire skyrocketed. He willingly gave up his mouth at that point, returning the kiss but knowing that the intense kiss seemed to be exactly what they both needed, one of his hands moving up to cup Egan's cheek then the back of his head. When Egan let him up for air, all he could do was gasp for air and give a few dazed blinks. By now, the water had his hair plastered to him and they were both rinsed of blood. In truth, Wind had wanted at least the kiss before his demon made an appearance. He'd hoped for more, but accepted that the kiss would be enough. He simply wanted to remember the first time instead of just getting hazy flashes. He blinked again and tried to come out from under the spell of that kiss, though it was obvious that it wasn't easy... The male was just that good...

Egan took a few moments to recover after the kiss ended. He had really lost himself in the sensation of kissing the other male. He noticed that Wind was having a bit of trouble coming back to his senses and had to smile over that. "I don't think I've ever kissed anyone senseless like this before," he said, clearly a bit amused. "Of course, I don't think I've ever kissed anyone quite like that before, either."
He maintained his grip on Wind, not really wanting to let go of him just yet. They didn't know exactly where things were going to go with their relationship, but Egan already found that he liked the feeling of holding Wind. Now he was hoping that it would end up developing into an actual relationship instead of just an arrangement to help Wind.
He looked down at Wind's face as the other male finally started to recover. He knew that Wind would probably be noticing just how he was feeling. That kiss had really gotten him into the mood surprisingly quickly, and he knew that he wouldn't be able to hide that from Wind, especially with their bodies still so close together. He thought about things for a moment and then decided that he may as well just speak. "I have to ask, Wind. Was the kiss enough for now? Or do you want more?" It was clear that Egan could go either way, but he was leaving the final decision up to Wind.

Wind did blush when he realized how close they were and that Egan was now 'in the mood', so to speak. But then he was asked that very important question and considered seriously for a moment, his mind able to put alot together easily and quickly. He shifted slightly under the water so that it wasn't pouring directly on Egan's bitten arm, an unconscious movement on his part and something that he simply did. But he knew he had only one response that he could give, "I want more, Egan... I want to be touched and feel someone curled around me. I want to feel desired again, as if I'm more than what they tried to make me into. I want to feel the rush again, to feel as if..." he shook his head slightly, frustrated that he couldn't get the right words out, "I don't know... I don't have the right words right now... But I want more..." he finished, hoping that the male would understand. He needed to feel desire and the heat that came with it, the rush of feeling someone taking him over and taking him. He wanted to be sore for all the right reasons and like the way his body feels when he wakes up instead of dreading it. He wanted his pain and pleasure signals mixed up and to be reminded that he could do something other than wallow in grief and despair and pain... He liked the way Egan made him feel. It made him feel alive for the first time since Aten had died. He felt alive right now. He felt desirable and attractive. He felt as if he wanted to live again. He just wasn't sure how to move into those feelings fully and needed Egan to help him... The spark was there... It just needed a little more help to become a flame...
