She looked down at his bracelet when he did and gave a soft sigh of relief when he explained what it did, knowing it gave her the chance to be around someone without having to hide. Admittedly, she was used to hiding, to remaining in the shadows. Too many years of being Hunted by humans and vampires alike; humans because she was a vampire, vampires because she'd killed her Sire. Her crimson eyes returned to his face when he complimented her, though, and showed her blush quite easily. She wasn't used to being complimented and it showed even though she didn't look away from him. Only now she didn't know what to do. "I'm not used to being around others anymore... My husband was the social one... I have no idea what to do now," she told him honestly as she raised her face into the moonlight and closed her eyes to simply enjoy the feeling of the light breeze against her skin. Of course, she had no idea how much more beautiful the simple movement made her. Such a simple thing, but it showed the graceful lines of her neck, the beating pulse in her throat.

Vince softly looked at her as the moonlight shined on her, she look even more lovely in the moon light, how it made her skin glow a little. Vince then glanced away a moment as he didn't want to be rude and stare, it has been a very very long time since he has shown interest in someone. He has just been all locked up in his office researching and taking care of his family, hes never had time to enjoy sometime of his own with someone. He then looks back at with Dark brown eyes and glances around the garden. "Well how about we take a walk in the lovely garden, Rebecca has told me a lot about it and I would love to enjoy it with someone." Vince says softly seeing if she wouldn't mind taking a walk with him, he just hopes he doesn't say something stupid.

Gypsy returned her crimson eyes to him when he made his suggestion and looked around the garden as well briefly before nodding to him, "That sounds good. I haven't enjoyed the place in a long time," she said simply and bent over to pick up her cloak, giving him a nice view of her leather-clad a** in the process, then folded it into a compact bundle that she secured to her belt and looked around again to determine a direction. She chose one at random and walked slowly along with him that would lead them towards the center where they could easily choose a different direction from, "I haven't been here in a couple of decades. The place is always shifting, though. Changes done by the gardeners at different times to keep things interesting, I guess," she gave a shrug of one shoulder to show that she didn't understand much about gardening. As she walked, her movements were those of a fighter, her steps soft, her gait fluid and graceful. And she hadn't noticed any of his interest in her at all. She never thought about anyone being interested in her. Even Kal's interest in her had surprised her the entire time they'd been together. So it was something that simply wouldn't occur to her.

Vince gave a soft smile and lightly folded his hands behind his back kept a light pace with her as she chose the direction at random. He softly looked around at the garden taking in its lovely features, but his eyes ended up landing back on her as he looked at how she walked, he swallowed hard and looked away as this was very rude of him to stare so he tried his best to make sure he was not acting rash or making her uncomfortable. "Well its my first time being here, my leaded Eric was the only one that had visit here many times till, Rebecca was sent here for a job. She then found this place as a better home for her and soon my sons Michael and Andy came to see her and seemed to have fallen in love while they stayed here. Also Rebecca's sire and my other son Valick stayed to keep her company when she told Eric she was never coming back." Vince says warmly and gives a pleased smile. "I am happy they are free from our clan now and enjoying life, I have missed them and can't wait to see them all." Vince says lightly and glances at her as he walked, he walked as though a gentlemen out on a stroll, he never slouched and always stood tall and proud, its just how he was raised.

Gypsy nodded simply as they approached the center of the garden where the night-blooming jasmine was planted surrounded by black roses. Any other time, she would have stopped and thought of Sebastet here. But tonight, she simply continued on. "That tends to happen here, I've found. Alot of people wind up falling in love here. I think it's something about so many different races and groups gathered here that does it," she said with a shrug of one shoulder as they passed a tall hedge that opened up into another smaller seating area surrounded by more night-blooming flowers that she couldn't identify. A little further on and they passed by a small area devoted to statues of the older gods. After that, they approached a maze made up of rose bushes that had taken on a life of their own and she frowned at it, "Avoid that unless you want to be trapped in there for a few hours. It's called the Lover's Maze for a reason," she felt it only fair to warn him about it. She'd gotten trapped in there once and had to admit that the place was fairly boring for her. "As for your family finding a home here, that happens as well. The place is a Sanctuary, after all, and seems to call to those who need a bit of peace or freedom from being constantly hunted," she continued with the conversation, finding that she liked walking through the garden with someone. It was actually enjoyable even if it was done in companionable silence. But it was a bit of a complication since she wasn't too good at conversation most of the time...

Vince looked over the garden as they passed wonderful things even the lover's maze as she could it made it interesting to him as he always wanted to learn about everything, why it was here, what made it so..He just loved to learn, but as he enjoyed walking beside her through the garden, he couldn't want to learn more about her, she was such a lovely women and he can't believe hes getting a bit worked up about her. "The only love I have found is in my family, working, and taking care of them has been mostly my life. I love to learn about everything, I never had thought I would ever have time to find someone for myself, but if that day comes I wont complain at all." Vince says warmly as he glanced at her, He then notice a perfect jasmine flower that was snipped off and not picked up from the tending of the garden. He looks at it a moment as he was a little new and nervous at this but he lightly picked it up and held it out to her. "Here a lovely flower for a lovely lady." He says lightly and then he felt a little embarrassed as that sounded better in his head.

Gypsy paused when he did and blinked a bit when he offered her the flower but took it with a small shy smile and another blush at the compliment, "This has to be from Sebastet's jasmine... Bred to bloom only at night..." she explained about the flower and smelled at it's subtle and exotic scent. But by explaining about the flower she managed to prove that she wasn't used to such moments. "Thank you... I'm... I'm not used to receiving things like this... The first gift I can remember getting was my first sword..." she added, with another shrug of one shoulder and looked down at the small flower in her hands as she realized Kal had never given her flowers. She guessed most women were used to getting them. She'd been more pleased when he'd given her a set of matched and perfectly balanced daggers one year...

Vince smiles glad to see he made her smile as she accepted the flower from him. "Well we might have to change that, A lovely women like you should always be treated well and get many gifts. I would give you a gift everyday if it made you smile every time." Vince says lightly and blushed a little himself as he feels like his words sound so cheesy. "I'm sorry...I hope I am not sounding rude in any way, I'm not good at flirting or sorts. I just have to say you are the first women I have met that makes me interested into wanting know more about you." Vince says lightly and glances at her a moment hoping she is alright with him just being blunt with her, he thinks it just better to tell people how you feel and think then play this flirting game that hes not very good at.

His first words made her blush again, but what he said after that made her blink at him for a moment. Then it hit her what he was saying, "Oh! I'm so sorry, I didn't realize... I'm not good at flirting either... I never saw the need for it. If someone is interested in someone, they should just say so, after all," she stated simply when she realized he was saying he was interested in her. "In my mortal life, it was just that easy. Someone expressed interest and things were arranged. It was only later that people made things complicated. I never did understand all that romance stuff, though," she added with a shake of her head for idiocy. She got them walking again, though at a slower pace this time, and decided to give him a bit more information about herself that he probably needed at this point. "I was a slave. In the old days of Kemet, you probably know it as Egypt these days. My master was a good man and had me trained to run his household and be his bodyguard. He said attackers always dismissed a female as a fighter. He was killed by the vampire that Turned me. A rogue idiot. I killed him that night. Not many vampires liked me for that. Seemed to take exception to me killing my Sire, and all that. I stayed on the run until Sebastet invited me here," she explained, hoping he wasn't one of those who had problems with slavery. Back then it wasn't like what those idiot American's made it into. Back then, it was an honorable position. Slaves were treated very well. The auction of her virginity had been a mater of life for her and not some dramatically tear-filled experience as other people tried to make it out to be. But by revealing that to him, she also revealed why she thought the way she did. Things were simple for her, otherwise things just got complicated and confusing.

Vince sigh a little in relief when she told him she just liked people to be out with how they feel each other instead of flirting, He grew a warm smile on his face and softly walked with her some more, he wasn't sure if she was interested in him but with her telling him a little more about herself maybe that means she was. "I feel the same way, back in my time for me it was giving a lady a small gift if you showed interest in her. I use to be a servant myself, for the one who you saw earlier, Hector. He was a prince and then a king back when I was human still but he was a vampire so hes had many lives, but he saw something in me, saw how I loved to study the world just like him and well one day he made me his child. I don't blame you for getting revenge on your sire, I had to try my best to keep Rebecca for doing the same to my son. Not all vampires are worth to be living in a long living life if they bring pain to the world, there is already enough pain." Vince says softly as he looked over at her and gave a warm smile as he opened up a little to her. Hes never really told any one about his past how he became a vampire, not even his children know.

Gypsy gave a small nod as he told her of his Turning, "I like the sound of yours better. Much better than having to stay on the run for thousands of years," she admitted to him as they walked along. After a few moments of silence she spoke again, "I will admit that you are attractive, though you probably already know that," she tilted her head a bit then with a small frown, "I don't think I've ever told anyone that before. Strange..." she said softly then shrugged over it and turned her attention back to their walk. "I'm just glad you don't have those ridiculous ideas about slavery most people do. It's why I didn't say anything about it before. Too many people try to make it out like I should be getting sympathy for being abused or something," she continued with the conversation, hoping he didn't mind the jumping around she made with it.

Vince smiled as he continued to walk with her and was pleased from her compliment about him, "Well thank you, that is very sweet of you too say. I don't think of myself attractive, you are far more attractive me." He lightly put and gave a warm smile. Vince listened to what she had to say about the slavery, "Yes I get that sometimes too when people found out I was a servant, wasn't treated well either, but thats how the times were back then and it was just a normal day for us really. Plus it is in the past and we should always look forward to the future and not worry about what happened to us in the past." Vince says warmly and gives a pleased charmed smile as it was enjoyable talking with her, she was also very cleaver as is charming.

Gypsy gave a shrug of one shoulder but blushed again at the compliment, clearly not used to getting them, "I wasn't saying it to be sweet, though, just honest," she said simply then took his words to heart about putting the past where it belonged. He was right, after all. "I don't know what to talk about now. Do you have any ideas? Because this has to be the most I've ever spoken to anyone. I didn't even talk this much with Kal... I think my longest conversation before this lasted a grand total of two minutes..." she admitted to him, "Most of the time I avoid people in general. I don't really know how to talk to people. Never really did. Animals, yes, people, not so much..." she added softly. After all, animals never made any demands, never cared what you said as long as you were nice to them and helped them when they needed it.

Vince nodded softly and gives a small smile, "I'm not a big talker myself, just a good listener really. We can talk about anything you like, you can ask me anything you wish if you want. You say you like talking to animals? What wonderful creatures do you talk to that get to hear your lovely voice?" Vince says softly with a warm smile.

Gypsy gave a shrug of one shoulder as she blushed over yet another compliment, "I can talk to them all. But lately I've been dealing with the horses in the stables at the training fort in the demon realm. Getting them to take a rider and fight like the war horses they are takes a bit of talking sometimes. I used to know every animal on the island here, though. Whenever they needed help, they came to me for it," she explained to him softly. They were headed past the bathhouse by then and she pointed it out to him, "That's the bathhouse. Modeled after the old Greek and Roman idea. It's pretty relaxing to go in sometimes," she explained to him then had to ask him something. "Why do you keep complimenting me?" she asked softly, the expression on her face showing that she was clearly not used to it.
