Second day of school. The young demon was up, dressed, and ready to go. She wore a dress, as always. It was brown with floral designs all through it, and her shoes were also brown. Her hair was pulled back in a ponytail and she left the house earlier than she was supposed to. Maybe she would see Rin walking. Maybe he would have forgotten about their fighting.

By the time Rin had finally awoken, it seemed Lundi was no where to be found. Then he remembered that she went home. It saddened him to think that she felt she needed to head back to her place, or more like, away from him, but then the details of the previous night came flowing back into his brain, and he honestly couldn't blame her for leaving. He shrugged it off, decided to skip breakfast, and headed out the door or school, only then realizing that he was already 5 minutes late to class. Oops.

Ludique sat in gym. No Rin. What happened? Was he okay? She was so concerned it was unreal. Would he be okay? She squirmed in her seat. They had already dressed out, but they were staying inside today because of the fire yesterday. No one was talking to her. Not even that boy she met before. Maybe they thought she was really weird. She had erased their memories of Rin and her fighting, they just knew that her and Rin were super close and cuddly and she was pretty much all over him when the fire was going on. That they were gone and home.. or at least not at school after the fire was gone. But now Ludique sat, waiting and worrying over Rin. She didn't even hear the coach she was so caught up in her worry.

(( ... I am just... so sorry. It kept being put off. burning_eyes ))
Rin dashed to school, stopping to pant as he entered the front door. After catching his breath, he continued onto his class, hoping to sneak into P.E. without the bitchface teacher seeing him. Surprisingly, it worked. It looked like she hadn't even taken attendance yet. He decided not to dress down.
Next he searched for Lundi. He half-hoped he wouldn't find her, assuming conversation would be awkward after last night. But as luck would have it, there she was, so screw it, it would just be best to get the awkwardness out of the way. He made his way over to Lundi.

The demon was squirming, waiting for Rin. And she looked and looked, and eventually he was there. She squealed, hopping off of the bleachers with inhuman speed. She practically crashed into him as she embraced him. Eyes shut tight, Ludique spoke quickly. "Don't do that, okay? I was really worried. I thought something happened after I left," As if she forgot they were supposed to be fighting.

Rin returned her embrace after regaining his balance and gently petted her head. He was relieved that Lundi didn't seem to be angry about last night. His nerves smoothed out and he was calm once more. "Let's sit down, Lundi, everyone's staring at us and drawing attention to the fact I'm late."

And suddenly, the demon waved a quick hand. The others looked away, the coach marked Rin on-time. Ludique took his hand softly, moving over to her spot on the bench. "You aren't still angry with me, are you?" If he was, then fine. Whatever. But if he wasn't.. well, she was hopeful.

Rin petted her head softly. "Dumb demon," he cooed, "I was never angry at you. I was just a little sad, I guess." He glanced away, hinting that there was still some unresolved tension to deal with--an elephant in the room. However, he was certain that neither he nor Lundi would appreciate getting into a fight like last night's again, so he hoped to put it off dealing with it for as long as possible.

The girl watched him. There was still something, wasn't there? Ludique knew, but it wasn't really there. She couldn't quite place what the next issue was. She knew that, in the heat of the fight, she had mentioned her love for him. Maybe that was it. Or maybe it was the fight itself.. maybe it was that she would need to leave soon. She knew she couldn't come back, and even if she did.. it would be months before then. Maybe even a year. The demon was conflicted, and looked to the coach now, staring at her. She tried to distract herself.

Rin looked everywhere except at Lundi. He did not want to meet eyes with her. There was no good way to break eye contact without conveying your mood at the time. He licked his lips. They seemed a little dry. His shoe was untied. He tied it. There was a hair in his eye. He moved it out of the way. How much longer would he sit there?
At long last, the P.E. teacher called down the students for class to begin. Yeesh. It felt like the end of the day.

And Ludique watched him. Out of the very corner of her eye. She hated him for doing this. For.. for ignoring her, now! It wasn't like she had much longer to be here.. why wouldn't he just look at her, talk to her? No one else would. The little girl hopped off of the bleachers, jumping from foot to foot, ready to do whatever the challenge was for today. He didn't want to look at her or talk to her? Fine. She would show him up in physical activity.

They both headed up to the center of the gym. It seemed P.E. was finally beginning. Rin walked slower than Lundi so he ended up behind her. He finally looked up at her. She was so beautiful--even from the back. He noticed that she had a very purposeful step; she was determined to do something. What, though, he wasn't sure. The teacher was ordering them to line up along the side black line. He guessed he would find it soon.

Ludique lined up with the others, eyes ablaze. He shoulders were squared and she was very, very prepared for whatever physical challenge that the teacher had prepared for them. The demon didn't even look to Rin. He'd get a taste of his own, stupid medicine. She was antsy, though. She was obviously taking this class much too seriously.

The teacher faced them with a challenging glare. Clapping her hands a few times to show that she was pumped up about this exercise, she shouted unnecessarily loudly, "Alright, you lumps, 10 laps, down and back." She blew into her whistle loudly, signaling that they should all start running. Rin started off with a brisk jog--fast enough to show off to Lundi, but slow enough to preserve some strength for later.

The demon was off in seconds. She ran to the point that she was not unnaturally fast, but she was still quicker than the others. From wrestling with her, and from coupling with her as he did, Rin knew that the girl didn't tire. Not easily. When passing Rin she sort of.. snarled. She had her hands in fists as she ran. Why couldn't he just talk to her, instead of being completely insufferable? Ludique finished after some other kid - to avoid suspicion - but still ahead of Rin and the others. It was such a simple challenge. She wanted another.
