22 - al-mi'raj4 22 - mole 22 - Van - 21 damage, prone, bloodied 19 - Fawks - 2 damage 19 - snail 18 - Mercutio - 30 damage, dying 18 - stench kow - 18 damage, -2 to attacks 15 - Sora 9 - Colbertron - 10 damage 6 - al-mi'raj3
So here's what happens, the last two rabbits bound in for the kill. The first misses Van, but stands its ground next to the warforged, though it does look a little uneasy about the decision. Then the second one takes a bounding leap at Mercutio, driving its horn straight through his chainmail and his shoulder. Pelor clearly has no dominion over fey rabbits.
But wait, there's more. The mole, who seemed to be waiting for something, makes a few squeaks (or whatever the hell noises moles make) and then all the other monsters lose their s**t. The kow begins frothing at the mouth, the rabbits bear their teeth, even the snail rushes forward, flails a-flailing. The one rabbit manages to land a blow on the warforged, while the other pushes off of Mercutio in a fashion that does no favors to his current horn-wound. Then the snail cracks the invoker in the back of the head with one of those tentacles. The spiked ball thing is definitely not as squishy as the rest of the snail appears.
((Van takes 6 damage of rabbity wrath. Mercutio takes three hits for a combined 25 damage. Van you have initiative. Also, the stinky cow looming over you has just lost its mind. Fawks can go too. Map))

Vanguard had been relatively calm. Maybe it was a zen thing that had to do with his connection to the earthy parts of nature. Or maybe it was just the fact that he was a warforged, and not one of the fortunate few who went into society and found friends or acceptance quickly. He'd had doubts and went to the forests, fighting to live in a way that seemed much more fair, learning to appreciate things that weren't built and hammered, but emotions and feelings were slightly alien to him. Things he vaguely understood or felt hushed versions of.
But there were a scant few Vanguard knew very well. The fellowship of those you not only fought beside, but fought with as a unit protecting each other and pushing forward together. He knew pain, and he knew sadness of these friends dying.
And he knew what it was to be angry at the ones who had done so.
"You hurt Vanguard's friend," he toned levely as Brother Mercutio fell.
The warforged put a hand to the ground and rose suddenly, eyes burning bright.
And in an un-humanoid-like gesture, instead of directly flailing wrath against the creature's who had attacked the priest, Vanguard attacked the opposing warparty, not that it could really be called that, as a whole. Which meant lashing out at the little rabbit, end of his spear and it's head splitting into a number of thorny vines and trying to entangle the creature rather than stab it as he radiated primal fury like a wave of physical energy.
[Move Action: Stand up] [Warforged Resolve: Regain 8 HP] [Thorn Strike: 1d20+10-2=27 vs AMR3's AC] [Mark all adjacent creatures after attack is resolved.]
