France was okay. I dated a French guy who flew me there for Spring Break a couple years ago. I didn't really like Paris, except for the bridge I recognized that was in Sex in the City. I loved the mountains (I was staying in Chapareillon near Grenoble) and we went skiing in Tigne. It was so cool seeing all those mountain goats! The wine was good. Lunch lasted 3 hours and dinner lasted like 5 hours everyday, so I really didn't do much more than eat, drink, and ski. I did the obligatory stroll through the Louvre and Versailles, but I really don't like being touristy.

My French class is going in two years...but the teacher who's taking us is a b****. There are also MANY people in that class who I would HATE to travel with, let alone be seen with. I find them immature and embarassing. We'll probably end up doing all of the touristy stuff and look very obviously like tourists and draw far to much attention anyway, so I'd rather not go with the class, although I might just go to leave the US for a few weeks.
As soon as my friend and I save enough money, we're going to "tour" Europe, Asia, and hopefully the middle east. I also want to see some parts of south america and australia with her.

Caen, Normandy, Paris, St. Malo. I like St. Malo the very best. I'm always going to miss the Nutella Crepes. <3

i went to France when i was on a Euro trip with my school. we were going through France really to get to Italy. we only really went to Carcassonne and Nice. Nice was pretty when we were by the beach other then that we had a hotel in a very bad part of town! it was not nice at all. and the people were very rude! they turned some of the girls away from the shops because they looked frumpy from being on a bus for eight hours and told them that because of the way they looked they couldn't afford anything in their shops....bad move on their part these gals had thousands to spend lol. anyways Carcassonne was beautiful! it was an old medieval city that was fabulous and well preserved. I want to go to Paris still and other places in France but from where i was i really don't care about how soon i go back to France. keep up the faith Cleopatra LV Tempus

I went to France yesterday by Eurotunnel (we went on a coach that was in a train!) to a Chocolate Factory and an Aquarium. I got some french chocolate and took some pictures of seals and fishies. blaugh One of the girls in the giftshop said something to me (I couldn't translate, she was talking too quickly) so I kind of walked away and said "non". Also, I got told by a presenter to move. I think he said it on the microphone aswell, but all I could remember was him pointing to the side of the room. sweatdrop

I've been to France twice on a vacation - both times I was rather little, but I can still remember being at the top of the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triumph, as well as the Louvre. I'd love to go again and see just how effective my French classes are, and this time, to eat some chocolate and shop some clothes 3nodding
